Go to 1 piece axles and be done with the 2 piece headaches. No issues with the 1 piece axles and 39.5" x 18" wide Boggers either. Much stronger and now this axle is stronger than a Dana 44.
here's something messed up...a friend of mine has an 86 & whoever had it before him must have messed with it. somehow the nut came off, then everything else, losing the whole wheel! gotta replace the whole axle now because all the splines got chewed up at the hub as the wheel worked itself off!
