- This yuletide, our very own Charles Cecil looks back on the year that was for Revolution - what we've been up to, where we're at now, and what our plans are for 2018 and beyond.
In the video he discusses what our future releases may look like - pushing adventure gaming forward but looking to potentially integrate our Virtual Theatre engine (as pioneered in Lure of the Temptress) into Revolution's next release.
We thank all of our community for their support over the year gone by and for the continued success of Broken Sword 5 - the Serpent's Curse, which we've successfully released on new portals across the year.
We hope to continue to bring our older games to new platforms and will let you know as soon as we have any news on this front. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for company updates and further developments on Revolution's next game. We hope you like what we come up with!
Thank you so much Charles for all the wonderful hours of game-play that you've given me throughout the decades with your Broken Sword series that is part of my most favourite games ever! Thank you - I'm really looking forward to whatever comes next from you!
Thank YOU for the Broken Sword series, after all these years the Shadow of the Templars still inspires me, it's like a good book that gets better in time. It's like Star Wars in adventure games history, in my opinion - it's something special, that never been done before and something that really hard to overcome. Pure classic, piece of art with great backstory!
Oh please Broken Sword 6 !!!

Happy Christmas to you Revolution! I'm glad you are working on a new prototype, but I must admit the 2D versions of Broken Sword 1, 2 and 5 coupled with the story & puzzles were just the best. You don't need to do anything else other than keep making versions like this...

Please make a HD version of Lure of the Temptress.
I hope Beneath a Steel Sky 2 is in the pipeline - it(Beneath a Steel Sky) was the only storyline to combine humour with cyberpunk.

Broken sword games for the switch? 👀👀. If you put 1,2 and 5, i'd buy them instantly
This is definitely something we're considering for the future - we think Broken Sword would make a great fit on the platform, and we'll be sure to keep everyone updated if there's any developments on this front :)
