Why we're launching a Broken Sword Kickstarter in 2024

Our community has long asked us for physical editions of our very first Broken Sword game. Now we present to you this Kickstarter exclusive box full of cool collectibles to celebrate both 25 years since the original release, and this substantially enhanced version.
This will include:
- the game for either PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch
- a George Figurine
- a Cloth Manuscript
- a Game Manual
- a Broken Sword USB-C stick packed with digital goodies
and more...
Additionally we made sure that you are able to select the box-art sleeve in English, German, or French! Because to some of you this game isn't Broken Sword, it's Baphomets Fluch or Les Chevaliers de Baphomet :)

I can't believe this!! I'm literally playing through this now again on PS1 for the first time in about 25 years!! Only this time, my 8 year old daughter is helping me!! And we're loving it!! ❤️
I finished this game in 2000, and it was amazing , I was 15 at the time, got stuck on the goat for a while
I admire people who appreciate, love, adore this incredibly memorable game so much and have already surpassed the Kickstarter mark twice, it’s simply incredible! How nice to see this :)
I can't describe how much I love this game. I play it through at least once a year and it has become a faithful companion in all situations. Seeing it now in new splendor is really great.

I really wish you guys would stick to this graphical style for all the Broken Sword games. I'd love to see you commit to bringing 1-4 and future games back in this art style.

What I see here is nothing less than the second birth of the best game ever made. The impressions are so beautiful. I've played the 90s version over 30 times. The soundtrack, the locations, the dialogues and the humor embedded in them, every single character, the story. Everything exudes indescribable charm. Much love for all who were and are involved with Broken Sword 🐐
I have bought and will continue to buy this game every time it releases and on whatever platform it releases. Same thing with Smoking Mirror.
I hope this Reforged Version will be a massive success so that the second game gets the same treatment shortly after.

Only just noticed this video. Went on the Kickstarter and the physical versions have all sold out. Disappointed to have missed the boat but DELIGHTED that the fans are supporting this so enthusiastically.

Ja hatte damals auf ps1, da gab's mal ne Zeitschrift mit Baphomets fluch 2 Demo zum spielen. Das war lustig mit den Hund bei den Docks nummer 20😂

Is it possible to Kickstart the Italian version? The Italian voices for the original version are wonderful. They bring so many memories
This game is a masterpiece of point & click. Played it back on PS1 and all other episodes as they released. I even have the very limited 25th anniversary collection on PC and played the first game 3 times during the years, but I'd still love to play it a 4th time thanks to this remake. It looks avsolutely gorgeous! 😮
Having recently replayed the original Broken Sword 1, i look forward to Parzival´s stone, that game has some huge shoes to fill.
Well glad to see studios are learning what a remaster should look like, I guess directors cut was a long time ago now, but it should have been done then in the first place. Also too bad Parzival's stone is using 3d instead, shadow of the templars had one of the best 2d art of that era and still looks better than every 3d adventure game.
I cant wait! I have loved playing all the broken sword games, and have recently rebought broken sword 2 to play on my android phone. Fills me with nostalgia. Keep the brilliantly charming Broken Sword alive ❤

That game has such a special place in my heart. The music, characters and the beautiful drawings of my beloved Paris get me every time. Unfortunately, the Android Version of the remastered part one for my mobile nostalgia trip does not run on my s24 Ultra. Waiting for the new one!!!
played the five games for the first time during covid to keep me sane and I loved them! can't wait for the remaster and the 6th game.

Amazing to see so many other people loved this game which was and still is pretty unique! I've never seen another like it. I loved everything about it, the character dialogue, the graphics, the music as well as the challenge of solving the puzzles! I'd love to see this turned into a VR game eventually too :-D

A New game please please please !! With Broken Sword 1 and 2, you made the only games I play every 2 years since I am a Child. I read amazing books about the templar thanks to you. I discover the gnosticism thanks to you. Amazing news, I will jump into this kisckstarter !

One of the best games ever made! Would love to see a hardback art work book included as I missed out on the limited editions they previously released.
When is a movie? there are arguments and a good story to do it
the pricing is double what it should be for a book and vinyl, shame. look forward to playing it.
I'll be happy to kickstart it, however, this game gets all the love -- remember the fourth game in the series? It was a very very strange game, with even stranger puzzle logic. Why isn't that remade in 2D? The third instalment was fine by comparison, gamepad controls worked well enough, and at no point did I feel the puzzles were lacking. But Broken Sword 4 is by far the black sheep here. Why not give it a do-over?

These games are so beautiful. It will be wonderful to see this amazing game with stylish graphics. I always loved getting stuck and trying to solve these amazing puzzles. Classic games that hold a special place in my gaming heart. Steve 👍

Happy to see in kickstarter that already the campaign surpassed the original goal from Day 1 !!!! But I also want Broken sword 6 to be perfect because the initial teaser was little disappointing.

Would have never backed any other game(series) within that ultimate Tier Level, but did that here within the first 1-2 minutes after receiving the mail.
Hope the game will find many new players , as this is a timeless masterpiece and worth to be played by everyone. World would be a better place for sure ;)
