Child interrupts BBC News interview - BBC News

- Опубліковано 1 лип 2020
- Dr Clare Wenham was giving an interview to the BBC News Channel on local lockdowns when her young daughter interrupted.
Speaking to the BBC afterwards, Dr Wenham said it was ironic that this had happened given she recently wrote a piece for the British Medical Journal on the subject. In it she argues that the collision between our personal and professional lives that has been brought about by the Covid-19 crisis may actually help further gender equality.
But she added that she never thought it would actually happen to her.

Kids ACT stupid. They're NOT STUPID. This is just an attention grabbing tactic kids often play. She's old enough to understand that she shouldn't interrupt. But hey, if it gets mom's attention! :)

The best thing is mom is still adjusting to the situation and not just shouting. She still has a smile on the face ✌🏻
That's why she's a Mom.....exactly like a Mom I had....
Also because she's on camera, I don't think shouting at your daughter in front of the watching public will be a good example. Plus I don't think the daughter isn't doing anything that distracts mom from doing her work so no reason to yell at the little angel.
Why was she so irresponsible in the first place?
@@TheSealOfTheRosewhat you mean irresponsible. The mother was talking with the host & had a smile on her face when her daughter came in the room and asked questions

Her whole aura changed the moment he asked for her daughter's name.

What a joy to see the host engage and include the little girl. The simple act of letting her know she’s NOT a nuisance but is welcome
That's true !!
@weaverspell And is that supposed to mean he's not supposed to like children and have a rapport with them?
weaverspell Supporting remain isn’t moronic, especially not with the way things are going now for you brexiteers lol. This isn’t about his ego, it’s about a cute video of a little girl so go take your politics somewhere else.

@@sannestrijd2978 ok, assigning 'moron' for an opinion is a bit strong, but dont devolve this into brexit, jesus christ leave this one alone, and Sanne if you just wanted to stoke the fire you might want to elaborate on 'how things are going for you brexiteers' somewhere else? Take your own advice and dont antogonise people further in trivial video comment sections that have an agenda that isnt in the context of the video.

@@bobinpune kids aren't usually good at picking social cues especially in situations they're not familiar with, in this case they'd just treat as an ordinary day. I love how they both reacted to the little girl and how the mom was not embarrassed by it. I've seen some interviews where kids interrupt and the parents seem awfully ashamed when it should be a fact that, given the interviews are done at home, kids interrupting will be inevitable. Great attitude from both the mom and the interviewer.
Good evening Gracia how're you🌹
So you've never heard of a lock on your door. Or better yet, their door.
Lock your kid in their room? Hmm .. she’s an NHS doctor I don’t think she should be locking her child in their room. It’s nstural, it was lock down.. stuff happens
Teaching children there no boundaries is terrible for their development
Beautiful - It's amazing how this mother radiates with beauty when she starts talking about her daughter. Christian is not just a five-star generalist but also one of the most compassionate and human individuals I've encountered. I salute him for that.

@A c Those ''pigs'' are everywhere not only at BBC!. At BBC, they were just more famous.

@சின்மயா x Excuse me?
@சின்மயா x You do know that child is a female? Do you judge everyone like this? Without thinking and baseless assumptions? Or do you make your 'intellecutual' arguments based on what the media tells you? That child or any other child is under no pressure to do anything. I was never pressured to learn the Quran, rather I am this old and now and I am starting to learn it. Out of my own will. Please stop being a toxic person, and learn to appreciate good vibes and comments. I hope you enjoy your day.
@சின்மயா x I am afraid that day you will be facing the court of God. As, with any religious scripture, it takes many many many years to comprehend it even partially let alone completley. Alas, a person like you with terrible grammar and narrow minded thinking will only take one video by the biased media to shape your so called 'intellect' (if you have any :) ). If people here think that I am on the wrong here, then I really fear for this world. That's it from me, say what you want to say :) I've said enough.

Ok, braces for roasting. I wouldn't personally dislike the video (and see it as an interesting insight/ just one of those things) but I can totally appreciate how it could irk someone. Some people find kids instantly irritating and take lengths to avoid them, so that irritation will be particularly apparent where kids unexpectedly invade certain circumstances (like professional broadcasts) where they shouldn't be. Just explaining. Horses for courses.
Scarlet is so adorable...She even asked for the newsreader's name showing authentic interest in the other person and wanting to make a conversation.
I'm glad to see that it's the BBC News official posting this video shows they do like these moments!
