The Grundig Satellit 2400 receiver

- Here's a look at one of the fine Grundig Satellits made in the late 70's, early 80's, the 2400. This arrived in pieces in a big box and was quite a job to put it all back together! However I've been rewarded with a lovely example of German engineering. As the original dial lights were all blown most likely due to a faulty shorted socket, I replaced them with LEDs. The radio performs well but resolving SSB requires a deft touch.
I have a 2400SL which requires an antenna and oscillator coil for SW2 Band 2 (3.5 to 7.6 mhz) so if any viewers has a "parts" radio please leave a comment below.

Can I suggest, keep a look out for a good Sony ICF-7601. Despite being a 12 band analogue radio they are exceptionally sensitive and fun to use. No SSB though but still very worthwhile.

Hi Nikolay, I don't think that antenna from a Satellit 2400 would fit a 400.

Phil I found a kind of classification for Grundig`s anthennas, linked below. What is opinion will the anthenna from GRUNDIG. ELİTE-BOY-600 will fit?
