A great old radio.your observation as being carefull as to who works on older receivers.i found a local guy who worked on my zenith super trans oceanic from 1951.he changed out the caps and replaced one of the large tubes and the radio works well. Always great to see some reviews.as with yours mine is drift free also.great job. Ron z. Pgh pa.

Picked up one today at an estate sale in an excellent condition, very very clean. For 45$. This thing is heavy. 6.69 kg
