Man, Persona 5 is even worse since the update. Now it demands to connect to denuvo _every time you restart the device_ rather than just once evey 2 weeks.
This is exactly why I hate Denuvo. It’s annoying that I have to ask permission to play a game I legally payed for. It periodically keeps tabs on you. Besides the EULAs. It makes it all the more obvious that you really don’t own the game. If you’re going to make me connect to the internet to play a single player game. I might as well just stream the game at that point.
Just FYI to fellow Deckies. Mine was running slow and constantly crashing. Turns out, I accidentally loaded in two Steam apps through the destop mode. I installed a second one because I was having issues with the original one and I thought I uninstalled it, but it was reinstalled...maybe? One had my info and settings and the other didn't so I removed that one. Hopefully this works. I know VERY little about Linux. Oddly, one of the logos was dark blue and the and the other a lighter blue.
I bought Jedi Fallen Order in the Autumn Sale and tried to connect my EA account, but because my EA account already connected to my old Steam account they stated that "An EA Account can only be linked to one Steam account in its lifetime" so I have to say goodbye to all EA games on Steam that connect to the EA Launcher. Not that I'm that mad, there are like an infinity amount of games to play elsewhere.
wow, you're so unreasonable... wanting games to work when they come out! (P.S. your ads aren't too bad, definitely a lot less than others) Keep up the great work, love the videos, Have a great Christmas!!
Thank you for the great content. I love the steam deck community and it’s great seeing other people share the same enthusiasm for this amazing hobby. Keep up the great work.
@DeckReady Rogue Trader's low fps is due to the frame limit setting in steam deck. Set it to 90fps or disable it. Fixed it for me. If you disable it, you can use vsync or frame limit in-game instead.
Since the update, all my Steam games are laggy as hell. GTA IV, V and Forza Horizon 4 all sitting at 8fps, after maybe 10 secs at 60fps, then that cycle continues until I decide (which is quickly!) that it's unplayable and switch it off.
I don't think the launchers should be a thing. And I also don't think if I buy a game I should have to make a account through their website so I can play my games
Any preferred or lesser preferred genres? I like platfomers a lot, so MegaMan 11 and at least Sonic & Shadow Generations is on my Deck right now. For VR I either use my desktop PC or play on my headsets natively. Also Cyberpunk runs fine on Deck these days and Hades is super fun if you are into Rouge Likes.
Yeah. All genres are good, as long as it’s good, in not into turn based games but “WarTales” made it on my list 😅 I got both of them. Hades is good & playing Cyberpunk at the moment!
The Quarry was great. I think it kinda streamlined the boring bits of Until Dawn. I remember turning the launcher off too. Launching a game in steam to launch a launcher to launch the game. Ugh.
Steam deck made me don't care about future pc handheld even if it's had alien Steam deck with rare technology Steam deck 2 will be good but I don't need it
chef crafted menu's...proceeds to nuke them in the microwave....I bet they feel insulted deep down putting their skills into microwave slob. imho. - A head chef.
I’m so upset they are using inside out tracking for the new headset. It has such bad tracking. I refuse to play beat saber because my quest 2 can’t keep up. And my controllers seem to just float away. I hope valve’s headset completely blows the quest 3 out of the water, but I doubt it will. And the quest 3 still has bad tracking.
Quest 2 has NO problem playing Beat Saber on even the fastest Expert +++ maps (both on its own and via steam's PCVR). So if your Q2 "can't keep up", it's something wrong with your headset, your computer (if doing PCVR), or your environment (maybe the lighting, maybe screens that the headset can see). And controllers that float away are usually from the controller's battery getting too low, or you're holding the controllers too far down by your side and the headset can't see them.
I don't care about Ubi I deleted my account I had my favorite assassin's Creed Black flag game through them but I got tired dealing with them so I said delete it I don't care anymore
If only companies would remove denuvo from their games so they can be played on the Steam deck offline....

At this point, i'm tempted to get a cracked exe just to play the game I PAID for.
There is nothing wrong with the stick placement, your thumbs are wrong...
This
And nothing of value was lost with any of these godawful launchers...

Yaaarrrr... *WinkWink*
I bought that also
Why not refund it, log into your old steam account, buy it and play it there?

@5:47 THIS rant should be required viewing in all of the gaming community, especially game devs and even more exclusively corporate CEO's!
THANKS
I like All of your Content and my Son is a young Adult now and he watches your content as well...👍😎

Thanks again!!
Unfortunately, it's not "a few cheaters" in these games, and allowing the cheaters is arguably a worse experience for the vast majority of players.
Nobody covers Steam Deck as well as you! Love this channel!
Thanks, that means a lot!

Smartest solutions I have seen
Every issue you described basically boils down to Linux sucking and it really does. Sad reality? I still prefer it to windows lol but it's so annoying
For real. linux is shit.
It’s funny that Marvel Rivals just released and it has a launcher also
RECOMMENDATIONS!!!
WHATS GAMES ARE GOOD FOR STEAM DECK??
I’m making list for must-play during winter hybernation!!!!!
Any preferred or lesser preferred genres?

I'm pretty sure that 2K Games and Take Two Interactive are two different companies. Take Two owns Rockstar, not 2K.
Take Two owns Rockstar and 2K
@DeckReady Ah, yes, you're right. Well, I certainly hope they remove the Rockstar Launcher next. That launcher is one of the worst!
An older Proton version doesn't work?
Is that a quest 3 behind you?🧐 When can we expect some VR related content?
Edit: 😂 you do talk about the quest, I made my comment too soon.
Steam deck made me don't care about future pc handheld even if it's had alien Steam deck with rare technology
Steam deck 2 will be good but I don't need it
Uplay is the final boss of launchers. The fact I have to sign in to play ac brotherhood (14 yr old game) is absolute bs

Ummm where’s the screen???

so this is a rant...thx
Sorry dude but it doesn't look like you're going to get to play rogue trader any time soon.

Can someone do a port for cod. So I can play warzone and 6 zombies
No
Let’s face the facts; the people who didn’t buy Veilguard, because of the launcher is a small minority. Just like the people who ruined Veilguard.
