And I love it cuz I feel like smores are comprised of at least gram crackers, chocolate and marshmallows so to say Marissa had smores when she had jello and others didn't is messed up.

One of the things that I think is really impressive about Keith is that he's able to see when he's messed something up really badly, toss it out, and then make something to fill the gap that isn't perfect but works. He might not be the BEST cook but he's got some genuine skill that just needs a recipe.

The smoreology woman seems really strict about the definition but I guess if your career is based on selling an overpriced version of something that kids make for less than a dollar (seriously -- in their store, the price for a single smore starts at 8 dollars...), then you must be very hipster about it, it kinda goes with the territory.
And as for Ro, her argument is that she can't fit it into her mouth? So what??? Smores are stacked high lmao. Maybe if she didn't do facelifts she'd find it easier to take a bite of the smore.

@@ArgusStrav if they did, then that's just poor editing on their part. Zach got 1/2 components right, that's more than anyone but Eugene. Keith didn't even have a marshmallow to serve them, and Marissa's tasted like horse and nearly made someone vomit.
Rachel said in a video on Second Try that she'll talk with the judges and influence the results sometimes, and I think that's what happened here. It could've worked if they used the edit to make Zach's look worse, but they really didn't. It just doesn't make any sense.
Wait, Marissa made Rosanna dry heave and she didn't lose? And how did Keith's liquid "marshmallow" qualify as a marshmallow "because it tastes like icing" but Zach's didn't because it was "mochi"? At least it was solid! If Keith's marshmallow was a marshmallow, then Zach's marshmallow was a marshmallow, and Zach made an actual cracker that the judges liked and put chocolate in it, but it "arguably wasn't a s'more" and the others were??? The judges all lost their minds on this one. Maybe Marissa's slime pucks made them sick.

Marissa’s cracker was way better than Zach’s to the point that the judges loved it. Marissa’s Hazelnut chocolate was also better, whereas Zach didn’t even make his own. Lastly both their marshmallows were horrible, Marissa’s tasted better, but the texture was worse than Zach’s. Taking that into account it makes sense that Marissa won over Zach. 2/3 of her components were fully homemade and much better tasting than Zach’s. Idk why u guys are so confused.
And Keith’s marshmallow is better than Zach’s because the taste is better, even if the texture is worse

I remember last year's WAR finale, they were supposed to make churros. He made his out of seafood and apparently, it was delicious. The judges and the guys all thought so. No one knows how he did it.
It helps that he doesn't turn a sweet treat into a fucking pizza XP
He seems to have a slight clue how cooking and baking works and goes from that. Even though he comes up with crazy ideas, he usually manages to produce something edible.
The fact that he likes to go down the creative way may help, too. If you don't intend to replicate the original in appearance, it's not a negative if it doesn't.
Eugene hugging and kissing his friends in the first 2 minutes is just to cute for the heart.

I think it came down to the fact that she was the guest doing this for the first time and didnt want to give her 4th. flavour wise they didnt really seem to hate zacks. but perhaps keiths was better although they also didn't really seem to like it that much so I could understand either of them getting 2nd or 3rd.
I’ve been thinking not only about Eugene’s hug within the first couple of seconds but also the surprised but happy little ‘oh!’ laugh that Keith did? It was so soft & sweet that I’ve been thinking about it since I watched the video yesterday
Next season Keith should do Daddy's favorite but with his favorites, because he's a father now.

Something about her sweet tone of voice gives Rosanna the same energy as a kindergarten teacher trying to use gentle parenting techniques on a student who just brought a dead squirrel off the road for show and tell.

I feel like Zack has grown so much in revent years. He has a confidence about him and hes just way more comfortable being authenticly himself on camera than I remember him being before.
Zach managing to place lower than Marissa when her "s'more" nearly made RO throw up is impressive in a way. Not in a good way, but in a way.
this is the first WAR where I vehemently disagree with the judges. Zach should NOT have come in 4th place over Marissa, whose marshmallow literally almost made a judge vomit. out of all of the s'mores, I wanted to try Zach's the most. I am happy that Eugene won, tho. those tartlets looked so pretty! 😍

To be fair, Marissa had a good graham cracker, she made her own hazelnut chocolate (the judges said they were good too), and the marshmallow was more of a texture thing for Ro. 2/3 components good. For Zach, his crackers were burnt, chocolate was pre packaged (unlike Marissa), and marshmallows were not marshmallows, so he successfully only made the crackers (1/3 components). The overall “is it a smore”, everyone got 1 yes: 2 no, so it’s a bit unfair to judge it as a whole. My guess is the judges based the ranking on the individuality of the components instead of a whole smore because of that.

EUGENE HUGGING KEITH VOLUNTARILY AND KISSING THEM ON THE HEAD??? We STAN soft eugene who knows he's loved, and wanted, and cared for and doesn't fear affection.
In the past Zach has not always been my favorite personality of the team. But I know he really kept the try guys together through their dilemma. And to give him props he was really funny in this video.
My favorite part of these episodes is when the expert says "You definitely should not...." then the cut to Zack doing that EXACT thing.
Do the experts get filmed after? Like does production prompt the what not to dos or are the experts just predicting things that may go wrong
Even better, when it cuts to ALL of them doing what the expert says not to 😂 like every episode Jared and Kwesi were in 🤣🤣

@@ryleecooper9701 Yes. They show them the raw footage, and Rachel asks questions about the difference between how they say to do something vs what got done by the Try Guys. Then they choose what wrong thing to comment on.
I really appreciate Keith's determination to make sweet things savory even though it hardly ever goes well for him

He'd do great if they did scones or shortbread. Both can be either.

it was the cake episode. Ro talked about it on you can sit with us a couple weeks ago. Eugene added like a dozen eggs and mixed the batter for i think 40 minutes? it looked terrible and ro had to step away.@@lieny

I don't know why but when Johnny said "mama this is a smore." Made me smile because it reminds me of all the failed and ugly attempts I've had at making something and my aunts or older cousins would be like "mama this is good. You did good."

*As much as I love Eugene's, Zach hit it out of the park for me in creativity. I can't taste them, but the smokey hot chocolate, with matcha and CBD...yeah, I'd try them. Keith always has thought behind what he makes, despite if it fails or not. Then he just shifts gears and re-imagines it, which I love.*

Eugene has become so much more comfortable showing physical affection and complimenting his friends. I don't know if it was from the trauma of last year or his relationship with Matt. But you can tell he's made strides in opening up and trusting his friends with his heart.
I both admire and question Ro valiantly coming back and putting the things they cook up in her mouth 😂
