So when I have a rough day that really sucks, I can turn to Jolly or the Try Guys, and it usually turns my day around and brings positivity and light to my day. They forgot the time they ran the obstucle course at a Korean Military base, with the Preist (Ollie's brother in law, Chris) and The Priest twin brother, the soldier (Charles). LOL.
I got into a London cab the other day going to work and got chatting to the driver, he picked up Beckham once. He said he was on the phone, and it sounded important/business related. The driver at some point hit a diversion and needed to go a different route so he asked him where he wanted to go. Becks told the person I’m going to call you back, the driver needs to speak to me and I want to give him my full attention. Just a small thing but really stuck with the driver, he’s incredibly polite.

Sure parasocial relationships can be weird, but like Keith said, there is a real comfort to tuning into familiar faces/voices. I'm Korean and discovered the Try Guys soon after Korean Englishman 10 years ago and it is quite surreal seeing the two worlds collide into a podcast. Their story is always inspiring and I'm so glad they've come so far in their achievements. Great episode.

Keith i know you will never see this but you are a core factor in my eating disorder recovery. Eat the menu, seems silly, but i turn it on, and it tells my brain its time to eat and its okay to enjoy food. I was extremely anorexic before and still struggle daily, but i re watch an eat the menu EVERY day at EACH meal because it helps me actually finish my meal.
Jolly and Try Guys food videos are my comfort viewing-and have desperately made me want to start a nonprofit for underprivileged kids to travel the world and experience foods, arts, and other forms of culture.
How did keith know i watch KE and Jolly during breakfast every week? I love turning it on and starting my day with them. Its also such a fun way to learn about a culture i lost at birth. They bring so much good into the world.
OMG!!!!! I’ve been a Korean Englishman subscriber for close to a decade, and have been an even stronger Jolly viewer since they started that channel. I COULD NOT EVEN BEGIN to fully appreciate just how great a Try Guys Koren trip could be with Josh and Ollie; wether on their channel or yours and I’m ABSOLUTELY going to suggest this to them too. That might be the GREATEST/FUNNIEST collaboration that UA-cam has ever seen!, but as the “Korean Englishman” would also show you some of the most authentic, amazing experiences within Korea. Let’s be honest, at this point, they truly do have some pull in who they meet and adventures they can take people on. I’m ABSOLUTELY going to message them with the same kind of idea. (I couldn’t be more excited for that)
as much as keith tried to draw a common ground between try guys and korean englishman, i as an avid viewer of both cannot stress enough that there is still a significant difference between the two channels. try guys is fun, light hearted, it's about who can make the best pancakes or let's try everything from carls jr today, while korean englishman is like let's go to italy and try this iberico pork straight from the source, and really appreciate this for what it and its history. i love both but i'd say, if i were to give an analogy as to the experience of watching the vids, try guys food vids is like eating mcdonalds - it gets the job done, very popular, will go viral, while korean englishman food vids is like an omakase. you learn a ton about the culture, the food, the passion, and it's just very wholesome and almost like you're living a vacation vicariously through them. there's also the other type of video where they just introduce the same generic korean food to different groups of people, and those are always a fun watch because you get to re-experience korean food for the first time in someone else's shoes and you get excited thinking about the different dishes and how they're gonna react to it. those are more light hearted and id say more comparable to a typical "keith eats everything in olive garden!" or whatever
I've been following Jolly for so many years, so cool to see them at the tryPod- a nice change from their videos. This made me smile all the way through, thank you!!
It's amazing how far they have come, including the Try Guys. Them being able to collab is so warming. So fun watching Josh and Ollie interact with the American guys.

this podcast was pretty cute but i'm really surprised it seems like literally no one did any research on korean englishman before the pod? like, you guys didn't know they did a video with beckham and they regularly do videos with celebs introducing korean food? when you search koreanenglishman and jolly those are some of the very top results. when zach was like "are we asking jolly 101 questions right now?" hard yes. everything they said on this pod, they've said in every other interview ever. i didn't learn almost anything new from this. it felt like you guys all getting to know each other, which is nice, but they are very humble in reacting to your questions that prove you just.....do not follow their careers at all. it would have been nice to see a little more effort
To be fair, this is the first time Zach, Miles & Rainie have actually met Jolly… Keith has hanged out and made a video with them before and after 4 months clearly no one actually know anything 🙄
I still listen to the Eric nam podcast with these guys cause I love hearing them on an unfiltered podcast, always super funny moments and I always find Ollie is so well spoken! Love them, to another ten years!!

I had been trying to tell him about how Josh & Ollie not only met the King, but were invited to an official state dinner where they were sat next to members of BlackPink.

They're like a family I get a peek into a couple times a week. Their lives are important to me, and help me relax and help me laugh. And when they go through stuff, or do amazing things I feel for them and am proud of them.

OMG!!!!! I’ve been a Korean Englishman subscriber for close to a decade, and have been an even stronger Jolly viewer since they started that channel. I COULD NOT EVEN BEGIN to fully appreciate just how great a Try Guys Koren trip could be with Josh and Ollie; wether on their channel or yours and I’m ABSOLUTELY going to suggest this to them too.
That might be the GREATEST/FUNNIEST collaboration that UA-cam has ever seen!, but as the “Korean Englishman” would also show you some of the most authentic, amazing experiences within Korea.
Let’s be honest, at this point, they truly do have some pull in who they meet and adventures they can take people on.
I’m ABSOLUTELY going to message them with the same kind of idea. (I couldn’t be more excited for that)

as much as keith tried to draw a common ground between try guys and korean englishman, i as an avid viewer of both cannot stress enough that there is still a significant difference between the two channels. try guys is fun, light hearted, it's about who can make the best pancakes or let's try everything from carls jr today, while korean englishman is like let's go to italy and try this iberico pork straight from the source, and really appreciate this for what it and its history.
i love both but i'd say, if i were to give an analogy as to the experience of watching the vids, try guys food vids is like eating mcdonalds - it gets the job done, very popular, will go viral, while korean englishman food vids is like an omakase. you learn a ton about the culture, the food, the passion, and it's just very wholesome and almost like you're living a vacation vicariously through them.
there's also the other type of video where they just introduce the same generic korean food to different groups of people, and those are always a fun watch because you get to re-experience korean food for the first time in someone else's shoes and you get excited thinking about the different dishes and how they're gonna react to it. those are more light hearted and id say more comparable to a typical "keith eats everything in olive garden!" or whatever
I've been following Jolly for so many years, so cool to see them at the tryPod- a nice change from their videos. This made me smile all the way through, thank you!!
It's amazing how far they have come, including the Try Guys. Them being able to collab is so warming. So fun watching Josh and Ollie interact with the American guys.

this podcast was pretty cute but i'm really surprised it seems like literally no one did any research on korean englishman before the pod? like, you guys didn't know they did a video with beckham and they regularly do videos with celebs introducing korean food? when you search koreanenglishman and jolly those are some of the very top results. when zach was like "are we asking jolly 101 questions right now?" hard yes. everything they said on this pod, they've said in every other interview ever. i didn't learn almost anything new from this. it felt like you guys all getting to know each other, which is nice, but they are very humble in reacting to your questions that prove you just.....do not follow their careers at all. it would have been nice to see a little more effort

@@thatgirl9532 I did, but I assumed it was a one off random video, since at the time it seemed like they were doing a bunch of videos that all were "we're in LA filming with a bunch of ex-buzzfuzz people and seeing who we like to work with". I was just surprised to see them on the trypod doing longer form content with no recent main channel video as a heads up.
I love this! I’ve watch Korean Englishman and Jolly for a while. I do remember the first video where they had people try kimchi, there were some rude people that would cussed out. Nice to get to know Josh and Ollie more here.

They're like a family I get a peek into a couple times a week. Their lives are important to me, and help me relax and help me laugh. And when they go through stuff, or do amazing things I feel for them and am proud of them.
