I love that about her, and that she's become the Try Guys mom, I got a smile on my face when Eugene said "Is this okay mom?" Or something a long that line point is they guys call her mom ❤😂
She has mastered the art of saying things that are technically helpful but are phrased in a way that just induce confusion and panic.
Where I live there is pretty much a churro stall in every fair you'll find, across the whole country, but yet I would have never guessed "cook it" meant to make a choux lol

Keith and Eugene put MEAT in their Churros and theirs Churro-ified while the others did not. Wild. How.
meat pastes can hold their shape well and fry up nicely, so it didn't matter as much for the batter to be right (which it wasn't, of course)
Because they understand food
Protein, when cooked, turns firmer. So even when they didn't turn the flour into paté, the meat in the dough give it similar-ish texture
honestly, one of the best parts of without a recipe: a totally normal season was the fact that the elephant in the room never won an episode and the results weren't edited

Spring rolls might be too simple, but it did get me thinking about some of the really complex Asian dishes which could turn out to be disastrously fun.

@@gracehowell. they’re a fresh rice paper roll with vermicelli noodles and typically basil, shrimp and/or tofu, crunchy veggies and served with a peanut sauce. In the states they’re called fresh spring rolls, but when I went to the UK I saw that they were called Summer rolls at the Vietnamese restaurants I went to.

They also probably did them for the live before “the incident” came out, and it was current merch back then. I watched the live stream in 2022 but that didn’t stick out to me then

Zach was truly vexed that the audience agreed with the judges, but I agreed with them too. Keith and Eugene were the only ones to make a pipe-able dough so theirs looked like churros and cooked like churros. I think it is so cute that Keith turned so red from happiness when the audience chose him. He turned almost as red as he does when he's angry.😂
They should have a show where the professional chef recreates the recipes. It’ll be fun to know if some of these wild recipes are possible.
I want Jonny to do this so bad. They lowkey started it with the videos where he redoes the soup macarons, but I get annoyed because they never give Jonny enough time to accomplish the task well.

The audience was also wrong, tho? They may not have needed to add eggs at that particular point in the process, but considering all the guys skipped past the step of cooking their choux and went straight to mixing their dough, they actually added eggs at the correct time. Taking the audience's word and not adding eggs would have ruined their dough.

On Keith's behalf, I would have been upset if Zach had won... I love all of you, this series is SO funny because I know I would be just as chaotic in this kind of scenario, but Keith did SO well on the churros! They were so pretty and I really wanted to taste one.

I feel like Eugene didn't get enough props for making an absolutely insane churro flavor that somehow worked
Keith and Eugene so chill cutting back to Zach and Kwesi having mental breakdowns
1 cup plain flour
1 cup boiled water
1 small pinch of salt
Mix in bowl using wooden spoon, combining ingredients slow/medium speed for just a minute. The batter should be warm, and sticky to the touch but should not stick to your fingers when you press into the mixture.
Spoon the mixture into a churrera/churro maker (available on Amazon $19 AUD), compress mixture whilst slowly loading hand held churerra making sure there are no air bubbles. Using churrera and medium star shaped attachment, slowly coil mixture out onto deep hot vegetable or canola oil in frying pan until golden brown. Remove onto paper towel to absorb oil. Coat in caster sugar, shaking off excess sugar. Cut churro coil into decent sized pieces with scissors. Serve plain or with chocolate or dulce de leche dipping sauce ❤

I watch every episode release and have been a die hard fan since the buzzfeed days. I have always wanted to enjoy a without a recipe live but money is tight for me, and this was the coolest treat to wake up to today!
