  • Welcome back to another Five Minute Friday. This week we are tackling an ottoman tray table for a project we started a few months back. In the first part of the build we turned an old coffee table into an ottoman and now we finish it off with an ottoman tray table for the top. As an added bonus, this is my first attempt at Shou Sugi Ban, the Japanese art of burning and preserving wood.

      That is a Kreg pocket hole jig. They can be found in different sizes as well depending on the project. They even sell a simpler one that works with a trigger clamp.
