Of Note - the Greenlee chisels are socket firmer chisels and not timber framing chisels. Thanks Big Lou for the correction on that Sold items include, but are not limited to: Narex mallets (both round ones) The K3 The Greenlee chisels Scorp Perfect handle screwdrivers No151 Veritas edge plane No271 Original Gage plane
I have an ECE Primus #4 smoother. It is sort of like the transitional equivalent of the ECE you showed, with a wooden body and mechanical innards. The sole is lignum vitae and it has an adjustable mouth. I love it. The horned body took a little getting used to, but it adjusts on the fly with zero backlash and leaves a beautiful burnished surface.
Looks like another good haul MJ. Hopefully you will find chuck for that egg beater soon. I have struck out on my searches here. Take care bud Semper Fi.
I picked up another MF hand drill at an estate sale a couple weeks ago and thought for sure it was a winner - then I got to looking at it closer and one of the tangs in the chuck is missing 🤦🏻♂️ Working on a deal with another tool seller in Ohio to get you hooked up though
Another grate video of finds. Being from England I see alot of those European tools. I like Narex tools. I have the No4 plane rare but even more rare is the No3 plane. The only one I've ever seen, is the one I own 😁 brilliant plane's and a very unique design. Different to any other plane. A little like the Veritas or Marples X4. With the sliding frog. If you've not seen one I can send you a picture. I know I still haven't sent you pictures of my gunmetal router planes yet. Been busy renovating my house. (Full top to bottom and inside and out renovation) But I have found a little time to make some lovely knobs for the 71 and 71,1/2. Just so I could show them off to you. 🤣
@@justplanefun thank you for the best of luck. I'll need it 😂 Just a little helpful piece of information back to you, as you give out lots. The Kunz plane is pronounced Kunts. Pronounce the first part cou like a political Coup d'état. Then it dose not sound like a rude word. I know its confusing but its German so blame them.
@@vasky22 Hello. When I get a little bit of time, probably next month. (December) I can take some pictures of a brake down of the plane and email them to you too if you would like? Just let me know where to send them, and I would be happy to do so for another plane enthusiast.
Nearly everything in the video sold in the first 48 hours. I still have a couple of Gage planes, the light colored mallet, and the Kunz squirrel tail. Not much else from this lot.

Sold items include, but are not limited to:
Narex mallets (both round ones)
The K3
The Greenlee chisels
Scorp
Perfect handle screwdrivers
No151
Veritas edge plane
No271
Original Gage plane
Hate to add to the confusion but the chisels look to be bevel edged chisels, as firmer chisels have flat square side's.
Nice K3
Nice finds! Especially those stones
Bunch of very cool finds! Those Knight planes are neat, cool to see them around.
Agreed. I picked up about 5 of them in various sizes a few years back. They’re great planes

That plane sounds lovely. Lignum vitae is one of the best woods in the world in my opinion.
Those Greenlee chisels are tempting too.
The Greenlee chisels all sold
Great video!
Thanks man!
Thanks for sharing all your smarts.
I’m happy to pass along some fun facts whenever I can!
It is pronounced vine land . But a nice haul for sure. Love your videos. They are very informative.
Looks like another good score.
Definitely no complaints here. I wish I could find stuff like that every week 😅

Would also love to see a picture of that No4 design. I collect No4-size planes, especially those with non-Bailey inspired mechanisms.

@romayoyo4303 yes, would love to see a pic or 2.
I like that mortise chisel, do you have an online store?
I have a Shopify store but the mortise chisel is already sold. I may have another one. Feel free to email me at jplanefun@gmail.com and I can check
