    I've built for years and did a complete wire job first in my teens. The deal with you is you explain stuff so well. Not only are you a great builder but you are a great instructor.

    Lee. I think wiring is one of those jobs that most people put off due to a lack of confidence. But when it’s explained in the way you have, and you do it your self you understand that in the most part it’s power in power out. Your indicator toggle switch is very classy. I’ve never seen one like that before. And the 32 just gets better the more you get closer to the finish line. Many thanks take care Tim.

    Very helpful! I planned on using a turn signal switch that was made for a Massey Ferguson on dash of my 49 International pickup. I got intimidated by all the terminals on the back of the switch so I never hooked up the turn signals. Your video gave me the confidence I needed to try figure out how to wire the turn signals. Truck originally came with only one taillight and no turn signals. Thank you for the video I appreciate you sharing your projects.

    Hey Lee,
    Great video series! Love your videos!
    One tip- Use twist ties from the supermarket during the wiring process to keep the wires clean and organized. When finished, you can use the proper clamps and zip ties you wish to use. I also enjoy seeing your travel videos showing your part of the world! Keep on!

    The dimmer switch could have activated the relay correct and not needed the larger wires and could have gotten away with the smaller guage wires on the connector. I just got a wiring harness from speedway and was cheaper than buying all the spools of wire when I was pricing it out and helped me with learning how to set up the circuits so on my other projects I have I can build my own from scratch. Thanks for the content it's helped out me out getting through some areas I was struggling on.

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  4 місяці тому

      The dimmer switch can be used to trigger the relay, but then you’ll need two relays, one for high beam, one for low beam.

    In the 70's some English cars imported to Australia came with plastic stalk switches before relays were common. You can't drive 6 hours on high beam without them melting without a relay

    Have you ever tried the new LED headlight bulbs? They are so much brighter and the power draw is so small a generator can keep up with no issue. No one know you have them until you use them at night. There are also some that are self focused so you don't need a good reflector.

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  4 місяці тому

      I’ve seen them, but never used them before. I’ve never had issues with a regular old 7” sealed beam

    Another great and easy to understand video. It’s much appreciated as there are very few good wiring videos, most jump over things and miss areas of importance.
    A question for you though…. Do you find it beneficial to draw up a final wiring diagram with your color selections for future reference?
    Thanks again 👍🏼👍🏼

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  4 місяці тому

      It’s probably not a bad idea to draw a final diagram, but I never do haha.

    those indicators im British/blinkers flashers would have looked nice on top of the headlights.

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  4 місяці тому

      I dunno… Guide 682’s have them on top. But I don’t think I could do it, these BLC lights are just so clean looking and uninterrupted, I feel like bolting a pointy chrome thing on top would be to Liberace for my taste.

    • @LGKustoms
