Fables is one of those properties that is just BEGGING to be adapted as a movie or a TV series (like a much darker and more serious Once Upon A Time).

I finished this series a while back! I hope it’ll be less confusing and more epic this time!
One of my fav series after Saga, Sandman, & a few others and would LOVE to see a live-action or animated adaptation ... but I do NOT trust WB & HBOMAX to do it any justice. 🙃

No they exist outside of the main dc universe. They are dc simply because they belong to dc company

@@Gekkko I have always said that If DC really wants to compete with Marvel they have a chance to do somethings more unique than Marvel. Be it dc had Veritgo comics and other stories outside of their main universe. There are more things to superheroes.

There is a point where the Fables fight against the Adversary.. One of the protagonists declares that the Fables are like Israel and that they will defend themselves..

@@jamesvanitas up to you ultimately. I thought it was an enjoyable read at first. But I didn't keep up with it for what I said but more importantly that I was getting it from my local library which doesn't always all the issues so I couldn't.
It depends on what you like to read. I like folk tales and mythology too so it intrigued me.
