yeah....principles you know......that crap they have programmed us with, for centuries......even using the religions to validate their grip. They should have thought of that, years ago, before planting Julian in the damn jail !!!!!! They are liable for any complication he may have, from that miserable time incarcerated with criminals. Time for compensation !!!! from both the UK and the US.......

My bonus: Finally, the God of freedom worked on our behalf and freed Julian Assange. We thank and ask, it is all we have with God. May God bless the good people and Angels+ who worked on it, but we are not yet forgiving the bad people who harmed us and under-repent, including Biden and those who support censorship. We can acknowledge the limited good of Biden and Sunak+, but I won't endorse either unless their opponents criticize the release... Trump gave us false hope on Assange for votes, then hunted him as president. After Biden used the word 'considering' was when Trump vaguely gave hope for votes... So watch his words. I do not like even a 'God' that gives false hopes, because I do not give false hopes for money or sex, at this moment of my life. People have to grow, including politicians, or pay the consequences. I have repeatedly said censorship is the most dangerous thing we face as humans. We should not give even God, the right to censor, meaning to punish people over beneficial truth... Censorship is how we should discover who is God versus devil and members of their teams, because the worst of people will always support censorship in the name of respect, order, interest, etc. Which reminds us why God may sometimes allow pain or censorship against others? If you support censorship at home or work, but oppose government censorship, you may still deserve pain or censorship. Just yesterday, I wrote how Snowden is among the top miracles of God, including how He protects him above Assange... Finally! GOD have delivered, freeing assange will anger only devils; some silently and who will oppose it loudly? Both Biden and Trump promised for votes and under deliver on Cannabis , so we ask the God of freedom to help worldwide on that, not just u.s....
Freedom matters! May God enrich me and every good soul, including perfect health. Vote your conscience! Speak your conscience! 'Successful will be those who purify or raise their conscience', as per ch. 91... Humankind are to be rescued, so those who worship the ways of our 'parents' are part of the problem.

If in the future an American journalist, who did the exact same thing Julian did, would be tried by the government and the government would use Julian's felony charge as a precedent, I wonder if the defense could use the argument that Julian was not a US citizen therefore not protected by our 1st Amendment? So in other words, this plea deal wouldn't mean sh*t in the US.
    I know there is this:
"Do foreigners have First Amendment rights?
Every single person, both citizens and non-citizens, are protected by the United States Constitution, the equal protection of the laws and due process of law if they are anywhere within the boundaries of the United States. The answer is yes."
But Julian was not in the US when he published. It might be thin but it's something.

Whilst I celebrate Julian Assange Freedom, I am deeply concerned about the consequences of such "plea deal." We all know that the only thing Julian was guilty of was that of exposing the horrible crimes committed against innocents by the military establishment. While I am happy to know that Julian Assange is finally back home with his wonderful wife, Stella, his children, and his whole supportive and loving family, I am seriously concerned for the way his freedom was obtained.

Thanks, Glenn. Have heard you lay out before how journalism/sources work. Speaks to how propagandized and disconnected the public is that you have to do this so patiently and repeatedly. The absence of meaningful journalism is why what Assange did with Wikileaks is so vital, and why the powers that be shut him down so decisively. From the Swedish extradition attempt, to the mysterious intruder on the balcony of the Ecuadorian embassy, there are so many potential headlines in this story that have either been 'managed' or purposely ignored by what's left of the 'free press'.

Glenn is extremely intelligent and very articulate. I enjoy listening to him, and I learn a lot from him. However, I think he undermines his position when he refers to Chelsea Manning as "she." If there is no objective reality to which we must conform (Chelsea Manning is male), why is the first amendment an objective reality to which we must conform. The constitution is at least as fungible as biological reality.
