The ER won't help her. My gallbladder was killing me. Literally. I had stones and it was leaking bile into my body. I would be in so much pain. I had a bunch of doctors dismiss me so I began to go to the er. They just put me on laxatives. The er doesn't run test. They slap a bandaid on what's going on then tell you to go follow up with your primary. At least that is what they do here in America. Since she doesn't know what's going on they won't help her because they won't run tests. It's sad but this is our healthcare system. My new primary care doctor saved my life because she was the first one to listen and order test. She even called up all my other doctors and yelled at them for not doing anything lol. But yeah, ers don't help sadly. Not even if you are dying.

@Emma-ql2lv at the time I had no idea what was going on. I would tell them my pain and where it was. Even my grandmother that ended up in the er had to get testing when she was released to her primary. It's not just me. That's just how ers are here. They stabilize you and if you can breathe and walk on your own they send you home to follow up with your doctor.
@@emilyplewes7817when I had problems with my gallbladder they did run tests in the ER and told me exactly what was going on. I had to have surgery and mine was also leaking bile. I’m in the US
It really is just insane how bad our health care system is. The fact that you’re having these issues and feel that you can’t go because of insurance breaks my heart. You’re so positive and wonderful. Hang in there! I hope you feel better soon 🤍
Last year I moved away from a super great job (on paper) because I was interacting with the public everyday and it was draining me mentally. I now work a job that has no “customer” interaction except through email and my mental health has thanked me for it.

I’m so sorry you’re going through it. I have 5 kids(ages from 3-11 yrs). It’s getting hard to trim my grocery budget enough to survive. We eat tons of beans and rice and my husband works like a dog just to get us by. If I didn’t have him and God, I’d surely sink. Hang in there. You will be in my prayers. Hi Kandy 🙋🏻♀️, I usually lurk but wanted to comment on this video. My husband and I were in your spot just last year, it’s so so scary. Hold on tight to each other, time will pass and things will work out. If you need emergency medical GO (we did). It slaps you around but looking back I realize how much less stress there is now that we have my husband’s health under control, insurance again, and medical bills will get paid in time. We’re still trying to rebuild what we lost financially but my husband is still here and I’m grateful for that. The US medical system really sucks for working class people, make too much for discounted insurance but not enough to afford to pay for an insurance plan without an employer paying a portion.

That time between jobs on finding health insurance sucks. It sucks too to be sick when you don’t have health insurance.
Do you still have your gall bladder? Your pain & nausea ( location, etc) sounds like when I had gall stones. I'll keep you in my prayers.... They do work. ☺️💜
That's exactly what I was thinking I got mine removed and her symptoms sounds like gallbladder
They checked my gallbladder and said there were no stones but having them check if its functioning properly is on my list of things.
@@KandyFoxxI had the same symptoms as you and no gallstones and the doctors were a bit confused and decided to take my gallbladder out anyway and it was the best thing I ever did and have been brilliant since x
I thought gallbladder too but sounds more like ulcers.

@@michelereynolds14 yes definitely. Even though no credit is better than bad credit, but now in 2024 I see a lot of places to rent are now asking for credit scores and a lot want u to be over 620. Some by me asking over 650. And I’ve seen some say if u do not have any credit built,do not apply.

I 100% Cody not having credit like that. Last year at 60 years old I have never had or needed a reason for any type of credit so when I had to start looking for a place to move my credit wasn't bad it was just low. So I applied for a couple of cards to help boost my score to have some type of credit history. I was raised if you can't pay for it you don't need it at that moment and you save for it, so that is how I lived. The beauty in it was within 3 months I raised my score from upper poor to above the average almost now 8 months later to good. The fastest way I was taught to raise it fast was to use the cards and if they are low credit on them max them as long as you know you can pay them off within a 2 month time and it works. I went from them wanting 1200.00 deposit to only needing 300 in 2 months. Blessings!

The cost of health insurance is so insane in this country! I’m still young, I go to the DR like 2x a year at times I am covered and not at all if I’m not. I’m not paying $350+++ a month to do that 🤷🏻♀️. Absolutely not.

You guys will be ok. Might take a little bit of time to figure out how to work with the distance, but you will. Sorry you are in so much pain. I had unexplained abdominal pain a couple years ago and I know how debilitating and depressing it is. Hopefully, your doctor will be able to get to the bottom of it as soon as possible. Hearing some of your symptoms reminded me of a health issue I had that started in my mid-teens. It started with an ache in my torso and back that slowly increased in pain. I also couldn't eat and if I did I'd end up vomiting. Anyway the pain would become to much to bare and would need to go to the ER. They said it was an anxiety attack, I don't know if was or not but they prescribed muscle relaxers & ibuprofen. After a few days I'd start feeling better.
I hope you find out what's going on and finally get some relief. 💐

Inflation right now lives in two spots: rent and car insurance.
Also homeowners bc the prices of homes go up so the homeowners insurance goes up and the property taxes
Being a ghost in credit history isn’t great. I used all cash and when I was 26 I went to buy a car and they said you have no credit history.
Aw, Kandy, trust me I feel your pain. I had to have a hysterectomy in Jan and am still paying off medical garbage. The health insurance I have via my employer is high deductible ($6,800 but out of pocket max went to $9,000 this year, which BASICALLY means your deductible is $9,000 anyway.). I’m struggling with Crohn’s disease myself and it’s been fun. I now pay $700 per month out of pocket for my insurance. Boss only contributes $400 to insurance. And housing??? Girl!!! I own my home but it’s 20 years old and everything is falling apart. I do t have the money for repairs AND they keep saying it’s more and more valuable which causes my property tax and home insurance to rise. Not sure how much longer I can hold on. So I sympathize. It’s been seriously hard. You’re not alone. I give you all the kudos you deserve bc you are SUCH a hard worker and are just amazing. Praying for you and Cody and Brittany! Hang tough!❤❤❤

Kandy I had gastric bypass surgery 6 years ago in August and every day is misery for me. I am in constant pain vomiting ulcers just not a good thing. I know you have had the same procedure and I’ve had all the test also including blood transfusions it’s been a mess. This surgery was the biggest regret

Have you by any chance been tested for Helicobacter Pylori? Upper stomach pain, nausea and burping are some common symptoms! Hubby was diagnosed a few months ago after an unexplained dull ache that was showing up negative on all tests.

I feel like you have to invest in things, coupon, know the sales deals, invest in stocks and bonds to earn money.
I still don’t have a Credit card at the age of 33 and did not have a paying job until I graduated college in 2014 at age 24.

I had health issues for years. All my stuff was low. (Low bp, low blood sugar, low heart rate, low iron ect.) No doctor did anything to help. They would see my results and just move along like it was fine. Now my doctors are panicking. They are trying to get me help for thr first fine in my life. Idk what's changed tbh. Maybe location. Maybe my weight. But all I know is that it took me fainting while riding my bike and ending up in the hospital to really get things moving.

Non-profit hospitals HAVE to offer financial assistance. Go to a hospital that is a non-profit and after services call their financial department and tell them you can’t afford it. They will often write it off
Health insurance, ugh, I wish it was better. I do think if you are feeling so bad, go to ER or an Urgent Care. Thanks for your life update, I hope you feel better and get some answers on why you are feeling this way!😊

Kandy there is an online place where you can order a package of all kinds of antibiotics for different infections.. I forgot the name of it but I’ll look for it. You get antibiotics for like bladder and kidney infections and all other kinds of infections for emergencies.. I think I’m gonna order from them!

Health is a priority, I feel you, the healthcare sysyem is not a great one but your health IS a priority. My sis is a realtor & has said now is NOT a buyer's market, so this is a great time to SAVE towards a house, not to buy, give it 6 mos. I love your vlogs with Brittany, can't wait for more! 💖👍🐱

Also, if you need to go to the Dr. Use your community health clinics, they are usually good about charging on a sliding scale based on your income. I hope you have a great day.

I hope you feel better soon Kandy. Have you had your gallbladder checked? Your symptoms sound like what a coworker of mine went through. For the past year she had stomach pain, no one could figure out what was wrong and finally last month they tested her gallbladder and found it was the culprit. Hers was barely functioning.They removed it and now she's finally pain free.No more stomach issues.

Just keep going day to day. Have you called your utility companies for help with your bills? Most will try to work with you in unfortunate situations. Also, you can apply for emergency snap benefits if you need food or a food bank. It’s not a lot, but it does help. You’ll be surprised how many places that you normally pay bills to, do offer financial reductions in times of need. Go through all your bills and make some calls. You never know. ❤Also, a hospital can’t force you to pay if you don’t have the money at the time. Go to the er if you need to.
I hope you are feeling a lot better. I know what you mean about working with the public, some of them are monsters. I still work in a police department as a civilian for employee for the last 21 years and talk to people behind a bullet proof window, you can use your imagination. I use to work for 27 years in retail in a huge department store in fragrance and that was dealing with the customers right out on the floor. I actually always had two jobs until 2017. That job was nuts dealing with people sometimes, they think they are suppose to get so much free stuff. I wish you tons of luck at your new job. I also understand about high rents. I rent an apartment for the last 18 years in a private house and my landlord use to not even raise the rent but the last few years every year now he is raising it. Believe me I am not living in any luxury and it is so hard to find anywhere around here to live at a decent cost, so i just continue to stay here.
Can’t buy a home now.. even our payment went up the last 4 years! Four years ago it was 100$ lower.. the pier and gas has gone up! Very depressing.. hopefully things change soon! I pray it does!

My fiance is a primary care Dr and overheard me watching you and heard your symptoms. Sounds like Cholecystitis /passing a stone or an acute severe episode of gastritis if it passed

The cost of living crisis is definitely getting scary. I feel like I have to grind 24/7 to keep moving up at work to increase my salary so that I have some prayer of buying a house in the next 2-4 years.
My husband and I have converted an mci old greyhound bus into a gorgeous home bc we cannot afford rent anymore!! We are traveling to the PNW. I can’t wait to get out there!! It’s so liberating ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Go to a gastroenterologist doctor, I had those symptoms as well and I had intestinal issues,turns out my colon was blocked, they gas to take my left ovary and part of my tubes because it was so indlaned.I lost so much weight because I literally stopped eating and thought I was dying, breast cancer didnt take me out, I sure thought this was. Pray you get some answers soon
