@@lovingmychocolat Rich people are full of red flags. Just let them wave in the air. LOL!
Or perhaps she is just lying to portray she is not desperate cos rich men pursue her. Billionaires chase 20s year old cod they are usually predatorial.
Haha I agree. This womans arrogance is unbelievable. If she's so smart and won't "date a looser" then why is she getting scammed ya know?? 😂
Weird flex
The thought of this woman being a retirement fund advisor is nothing short of terrifying.
She sells insurance and other products for a MLM.
Yes! Exactly what I thought
Ikr, yikes! 😲😱🤯
It goes to show, just because a person has the label of "retirement fund advisor" doesn't mean she's any safer than a scammer.
When she said, at the very beginning, "It's just a thousand dollars", that was a massive red flag. That's a month's rent in many places, even here in the US, and much more in Chiang Mai.
@@sohu86x That makes SO MUCH SENSE

Listening to her brag about how smart, powerful, beautiful and rich her and her friends are is hard to listen to.
Its a cultural thing, they do that in real life to impress family/friends. The helicopter reference was embarrassing.
It sure is. 🙄
How do you explain the other people on this channel that say the same thing? @@2anthro
She says she's a Christian. She must be going to a heretical "Prosperity Gospel" church.
Yes a touch of Karma
How more privileged can you be when you say “it’s ok that you’re a teacher and you’re poor.” And “it’s ONLY $1,000, no big deal.” God this woman is full of herself.
“I’m not going to date a loser!”

The reason why that I have never been scamed is because that I am a loser .

She is not as good as she thinks and that's why she has no one in person! She thinks she is better then she is! She's a narcissist for sure!
I received a message from a scammer the other day. Im letting him do his thing. Every line has been played. 1. Working in Iceland.
2. Engineer in Iceland. 3.Told me he lost his "wife". Thanks to this channel I am prepared 🍿

SHE’S a FINANCIAL ADVISOR? Yikes.

I'm surprised she didn't connect her situation with pig butchering scams. Those have been around for several years now.
"...one of the brightest..." and so many other compliments to herself about being so smart...

I wouldn't want her as my financial advisor. She can't even handle her own much less handle some one else
She has ruined her career by exposing herself on this video.
@@leona2222 I doubt that, bc people aren't going to find this video by searching her name. I think this vid might make it's way around some circles of ppl who know her, but I doubt that this'll become directly connected to her name/business and make an impact there.
It’s possible to be great at what you do professionally, but not have the emotional maturity to handle intimate relationships.
Wait though, "financial advisor" is a loose title, that could also mean one of those multi-level marketing schemes, and not those prominent ones that are from Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard, etc.
No. Way. 😮

Yeah that part didn’t make sense to me either.
Emil might not be a teacher ?
Imo, she was condescending as if teachers = 🚾 cleaners

Maaaaaaybe...this act of 'understanding' and 'forgiving' him made her feel like she was being a good person? It's weird but I can see this being a thing. He knew what he was doing.

You are very honorable for lying over and over again and then changing your story. I admire your honesty--LOL. Doesn't she see the disconnect there? He was lying for days! Now all of a sudden you are going to "help" him by sending money?
I hate this woman. She's is hands down, the least likable guest on the show.

That scammer surely was very creative and smart 😅
Smart enough to be successful in her own life but not smart enough to realize she's being played. How does that happen??? 🙅 I am 71. No romance scammer has ever squeezed a single penny out of me.
Hard to pinpoint what her deal is. On one hand, she wants to date rich and powerful men. Yet, she was turned on by someone needy, mentally disturbed, disloyal, and a liar to boot. Because of a 30ish year old average looking visual. Insane.
70 here, no one has got anything from me. And she’s so savvy according to her.
Well good for you and I hope it stays that way.
Like they say. . .LOVE IS BLIND.
Maybe, her parents helped her get connections? Sometimes it’s the parents that were successful and their children benefited from it, but don’t appreciate it. I don’t know. 😂 She doesn’t seem like someone that can do things on her own.
My Queen have you eating today 😂
"it's only $1k no big deal"😂
This scammer knew he hit the jackpot
She strikes me as someone who came from poverty and the shame that can bring. Now, she covers up that shame by being overly materialist. And very full of herself.
THIS. of ALL the comments here im leaning HEAVILY towards that as well!!!
I agree. People who grew up with money mostly keep a low profile. I can tell those who are truly wealthy from those who are trying to convince me they are by how much they show off. You’ll hear a lot less about money in conversations with those who actually have it.
Yes. A lot of those Filipinas behave like her once they get abroad.
First thing I noticed her wearing a Dior dress. 😂She is from the Philippines I know from her accent. I agree with you @debhurd8898 she most likely came from poverty and these kind of women have to constantly brag and beyond materialistic. She is full of herself and knows she needs to pay for attention that's why she gave her scammer money. She is beyond delusional deluded gullible desperate and so arrogant. all the red flag is there but she obviously so hungry for attention that she got scammed by the Nigerian.
Nice thinking out of the box.
i get it, she looks good for her age and is wealthy (or so she claims) but gotdam, she's full of herself, and even worse of all, zero common sense.
She's gotta be covering up incompetence. Either she's faking it or she doesn't care. I am astonished that someone in the financial advisory business would get scammed financially.
I think she looks every bit her age. I know people her age that look much better.

What I don't understand is this. Even if the person was 100% legit why are you paying another person's bills? At any point in your life has any romantic partner ever ask you to pay bills like that and have you ever asked a romantic partner to pay bills like that and I would say if you're a decent person the answer is no because unless you're married or living together you don't do that!
That is what I was thinking back to the days. Remember when we dated days before the internet. We just dated. Bought them dinner & such. go out. Have fun. But we never had to support their kids or anything at all. Back then they would not ask you a complete stranger to introduce them or call them to a child. Like scammers do. Your not obligated to pay for ones bills unless your married. I think people need to think back. What life was like before the internet & when we dated in person We never shelled out Life savings Or thousands of dollars. That is why when People asked me the first time. I said "No" I don't owe them nothing. I blocked them. Even my current girlfriend In person. doesn't ask me to pay her bills. Just dating. What I did too when I dated before. I think people need to go back & think

Basically they are buying a fantasy.
@@annat6249kind people give money to charities and reach out to to the poor they don't give money to some guy or girl 20 years younger than in another country that's not being kind that's being greedy and lustful
You don’t have to dig deep for the answer. It’s very simple. The very architecture of the scams require the premise that not only are these people, handsome and successful, but they have something to offer and return monetarily and financially when they finally are together. The key ingredient in the recipefor success. It’s either a pile of gold house and inheritance or a investments scheme. The woman or men will never give money unless there’s something they can gain in return.
I guess as smart as she is, the scammer outsmarted her.
Also if she’s rich or whatever rubbish she’s coming out with, why the constant need to bang on about it and all the high profile friends she has? I call bullshit…
Agree
@elipotter369 Yes! Exactly! I was just going to say this is exactly the attitude of someone who comes from poverty and didn’t have examples of how to behave in society. My family was definitely working class when my grandmother was growing up, but she grew up in Westchester NY, which is old money going back to the Dutch. Her eldest brother became a very wealthy architect ( he belonged to and was occasionally on the board of the golf club that turned Clinton away 😆) and my uncle married a very lovely woman who treated my grandmother like a beloved younger sister. As a result, while my mother grew up in a middle class home, there was still the impression of what was and was not acceptable behavior. I can’t buy fashion that is right off the runway because I have an absolutely inescapable sense of embarrassment, as I was raised that that’s a mark of trying too hard. I work in a lot of countries with new money and they can’t understand how I can do my own shopping and cleaning, as to them, that means a loss of status. I gave up trying to explain that I have nothing to prove to anyone so why not take care of myself? Old money drives a reliable car and has a hole in their cashmere sweaters, they have no one who’s opinion they care about, so no need to impress.
She's very shallow and those things matter the most to shallow ppl... looks and money.
She's definitely not rich. She's fake rich.
@elipotter369 Yes, exactly! There’s a small coastal town about two hours from where I grew up. Very old money, probably the wealthiest place per square foot in America. Despite this insane generational wealth, they are, as a town, one of the genuinely kindest places I’ve ever been. They also have the largest leash free beach in America, so growing up we frequently went with our dogs. The locals treat everyone like neighbors, provided you behave politely and always make a fuss over visiting dogs. There is a gourmet cheese shop where dogs are not only welcomed, but the owner will toss pieces of $400 a kilo cheese at the dogs as a treat. That part made me cringe, as loved though my dogs are, they do not not have the palette for that and would be fine with the bargain cheese 😂. These people have a right to be snobbish to outsiders and I’ve never once seen them behave that way. Mind you, I think you’d need a million just to buy a studio 3 miles from the beach, so I’ll not be moving there anytime soon..,

Marisa is a beautiful lady, and I love her confidence. However, one character trait I do not like in anyone is when they is assign value to others (or themselves) based on money, possessions, or connections. That behavior makes me itch.
I usually feel bad for victims of these scammers, but this time not really. Looks like she needed a life lesson, too bad that she might not learn to be humble
Unbelievable how people could just throw money away
She claimed she had $10,000 to throw away and it was no big deal. She was more heartbroken when he went MIA,
First two sentences out of her mouth and I already don't care for her, lmao. Must be a record.
These catfish people are so obvious! I’m playing one right now and seeing all the red flags. It is a hobby for me because I figure the time he is wasting on me he isn’t scamming someone else
You’re basically doing an act of service for the world right now 😂
I love that she finally recognized that she was scammed. She is smart and independent. Good for her! Havung confidence is amazing
He misspelled the name of his OWN store in his text to her. Is that to test out if she is a good victim?
Great point!!
