@@OuttheBackDoor Yes very, but when you turn them into jam they become sweet, Sorry I just woke up and misread what you typed hence My earlier comment LOL.
@@OuttheBackDoor I looked it up and my 8 is definitely way to hot. I'm in ne Georgia. We regularly get upper 90s in the summer. Bummer. I am going to look for products
@@lisapop5219 zone 8 is definitely too hot. One of the main reasons I picked these are because our winters can easily stay -30° or colder for stretches at a time. These are extremely hardy for zones 2 & 3. We're in zone 3. 😉
God bless you Mickey!I make blackberry jam and apple butter, core apple jelly and plum jelly every year. Im looking for your dill pickle brine from last year. I cant find on your channel. I canned 40 quarts and gallons last year. My family LOVED them. Can you give me your brine mix here? Please, I thank you 😊 Love, love your videos ❤
Hi Teresa. My videos went AWAL last fall and I've slowly been trying to upload them again. I'll try to find the dill pickle for you. 😊 Have a blessed day!
Those are really interesting looking! I'm pretty sure my zone 5b wouldn’t make them very happy. Which is a bummer. I'd love to try them. I didn't see a link for the pectin you order in bulk. Maybe I'll check wirh Azure. Is your bulk choice Pomonas by any chance? I've bought some of the smaller boxes to try, but it can get pretty expensive. Nice shady spot you have for cooking outside! Such a pretty yard. Have a great week! ❤🙏
Hi Sandi. Check out www.honeyberryusa.com to see if maybe you could grow them. They are located north of Grand Rapids, if you recall where that is. Sorry, I forgot to put the link. Mike and I took his son and granddaughter fishing and snorkeling yesterday afternoon and I was in a hurry to get out the door. No, it wasn't Pomonas. Let me go look it up and get the link posted and I'll respond back to you with it as well. 😊
You can definitely use blueberries in place of honeyberries!
Yummy!!!
Hi Donna. I'm getting ready to make more already! 😊
I love strawberry jam and apple butter.
Hi Di. I really like strawberry jam too! 😊
I like strawberry and blackberry
Hi Lois. I haven't done blackberry yet, but I do like strawberry! 😊
Thank you for such a great lesson on jams and jellies!!!
Hi Connie. My pleasure and I appreciate you watching! 😊
I Love gooseberry Jam, I'll need to make some this year.
Hi Munkey. I haven't had gooseberries before. Are they on the tart side? 😊
@@OuttheBackDoor Surprisingly no, but they do have a very unique flavour,

@@markcumbriauk grab your coffee, Munkey!
@@OuttheBackDoor 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is why I should not read anything on yt until I have had at least 4 mugs of coffee.
What an unusual looking fruit. I'll have to look it up and see if it is compatible with my climate because I'm intrigued
Hi Lisa. Honeyberries aka Haskap like cold climates. If you're in zone 4 or cooler, you should be able to grow these. 😊
