I am the youngest and only remaining one alive. They all died at 85 and I m 83. Today is the 10th anniversary of husbands death. The hardest part of aging along with my antisocial tendencies. lLuckily I have an apt in sons home. Not driving is my saddest challenge. My faith sustains me.

I have to say, I taught my grandmother in her mid eighties to bank online, she wasn’t afraid to try anything. She passed away at 91 almost 92 a few months ago. She was really one of a kind ❤️

We lived in the Villages for 15 years and I must admit that time went very fast. I am a retired RN BSN With UF CERTIFICATION INN LOBBG TERM CARE. I was planning to be aGeriatric consultant. However I ended up working in Hospice Inpatient until I was 70. 50 years of nursing was enough.
    Loved your presentation.🙋🏻💕💕💕

I was thinking about this last evening, actually. My brain kept saying "Time" as the simple answer to aging, but the more I tried to apply time itself as a constant, the less it seemed to make sense. It just that.. people always used to describe time as a sheet from a bed; thin, even with ripples (which could indicate time anomalies), but the problem is seeing that sheet, it's one-dimensional looking at it either head-on or from the side.
The only way time could ever experience fluctuations of any kind is either by those percieving the time move independent of that time's influence to sort of.. walk around it, similar to viewing an antique at a museum. If that isn't possible, then that would prove that time is indeed three-dimensional, and yet even more complex if the former is true. My point is it seems that time isn't applied uniformly and perhaps there are a sort of shift or current

I love how she points out horrendous Times magazine “aging” covers. It was almost like she was suggesting older people are also a positive part of society, wow. Remarkable attitude, (food for thought)

Flow: Baby Boomers, born 1946--1970 who all reach 62 retirement age by 2032, are taking most of the college degrees and State licenses into retirement with them. Sooooo, people better hope that retirees are an excellent influence on society! The principal difference is that the 25% with degrees, especially graduate degrees, start working for free through non-profit volunteering.
USA has 66,000,000 under the age of 17. That is a huge time burden on 25 to 55 year olds.

This about people. To understand aging better, compare to other species.

The $7.25/hour minimum wage is what is killing Social Security through underfunding. The living wage would make a huge difference. USA has 100,000,000 born 1996 -- 2020. USA does not have the extreme undercutting of demographics some other nations face, nations such as Russia and China, for example.

Medicare does pay in Australia, though it takes years to get approved. Sometimes people die before they get the assistance

The problem is there is no reason to be alive after the age of 50, the quality of life goes down so much , dying earlier before your body gives up is the best way to go.

No reason to be alive? I have plenty of reason to be alive and I’m way past 50. I’m planning to get to 100 at least. You should listen to the talk all the way through.

One reason to live past 50 is that the over 50 crowd can pass on knowledge and wisdom to fools like yourself.

After the age of 50 there’s always the consolidation of power; The average age in the The United States senate is Over 62! Strangling your nation with your trembling bony hand ruining the lives of young people. Forced to sacrifice the best years of their lives in minimum wage drudgery and prevented from having sex and falling in love because you’ve speculated on all the land and no one can afford to buy their own home!
      Looking at you McConnel.
