There is something that reduces free radicals on a 1 to 1 MILLION ratio instead of 1 to 1 like antioxidants. When Superoxide dismutate & glutathione slow down in repairing cells, disease happens. And it's backed by real science like 24 peer-reviews, an endorsement from the American Heart Association & the National Institute of Aging! I really feel you would appreciate the University studies & be astonished by results! My name is Tammy & my email is truehope4us@gmail.com if you would like to have a conversation about it.

The bottom line is the way research is done for the report which headlined the findings media based "married men live longer". It is based on single men who used to be married i.e. divorced. Not men who were never married. Men who were never married live longest. In a divorce a man gets fucked over. Many men who go through a divorce end up killing themselves. Your statement is ignorant and false. *MEN SHOULD AVOID MARRIAGE !!*
Dorie LaRue "ignorant" is not getting nasty. It is stating you lack knowledge. Why do you find that so insulting, why does it that a man online to put you right rather than you having a curious mind. Media is normally a lie. It is ok you be wrong sometimes. You a woman?
Speaking of "abusive partners".....the most abusive can be the partner we live with 24/7/365. The idea is to get that partner out of the boxing ring and onto the park bench by the lake.
I have been very active in telomere health, testing and have observed the ability to lengthen short telomeres. My question what is the difference between male and female telomere length and the active process of telomerase ?
I enjoy my mental excursions, immensely. So, it's difficult for me to feel that in the negative. Perhaps I don't understand what she means by "wandering mind".
Mari: T-Cells go around killing infected cells, as you may have heard. That is one way pandemics like the Covid-19 pandemic end. Infected cells get killed by the immune response. We're cells not to divide, people or would have fewer and fewer cells. That, itself, might become fatal. Pancreatic beta cells don't reproduce themselves, which can lead to diabetes, since sugar spikes can kill beta cells. We are told the body replaces its cells in about 7 years. I have never heard who came up with that theory. Had you the notion that we kept each of our cells for a lifetime? We heal by being rid of infected cells and making new ones and patching up damage that can be patched up. Almost all living cells are dynamic. Look at what happens when RNA go wild! SARS2 is said not to even be 'alive.'. It is unable to firm a cell membrane. It has only a lipid layer. SARS2 cannot even divide itself. It only has enough 'coding' to break into other cells sometimes and hijack DNA contract DNA processes. I used to think people only became obese by making too many cells to store fat. But apparently at least some cells can expand in size to hold more fat. DNA/RNA have 'instructions/templates' for processes. They divide because without the ability to replace damaged cells, they would eventually all get damaged and be killed off by T-Cells. All organisms that can't reproduce get killed off unless they become protected by other cells. Brain cells can protect pancreatic beta cells from getting killed by sugar spikes. Many people just don't bother. We see the results of cells that have DNA/RNA that have processes that survive. IF there are people with mutated telomeres that don't shorten, they're not confiding it. (I'm half joking about that.)
Need to be more specific with the testing....bad fat like transfats i.e. canola oil, vegetable oil, ect. Or "good" fats avocados, nuts, olives coconut and coconut oil
maillaarni I didn't say that. Why do you claim I did? That said, there is not much science in psychology/psychiatry. She has an idea she wants to sell. I get it. But the attempt to related it to science was silly.
Daniel Bonfield Thanks for the question. Let's examine it a little. It is a broad topic of course and as such we must look at it ourselves not just grab a sound bite and pretend to have an answer. Well many reasons, but we can start on a few core ones: 1) Modern psychology/psychiatry has never cured anyone. Tough to be a science that is supposed to treat others medically and never have a cure for anyone, for anything. 2) Who founded what is now modern psychiatry? Well, Sigmund "Do No Wrong" Freud of course. And what was the basis of his founding participles? Only 4 case studies! Yes, that is right, how the so-called mentally ill are treated in the west is predicated on a book with only 4 cases studies of questionable import and more questionable content. We cannot go into the content here, but if we are really interested we can go into it for ourselves. 3) Now how were those patients treated for Dr. Freud to get such stellar results? Yes, sure the infamous psychotherapy. But medication-wise, what was prescribed? Cocaine! That's right, Freud treated all his patients with cocaine, many doses per day. And this was not your watered-down cut up 6 ways from Bogota crap on our streets today, this was true-blue, dyed in the wool, grade A pure coke. Then Freud, after getting his patients addicted the powerful narcotic, really started noticing his psychotherapy to treat their depression was working wonders ;) 4) Now, Dr. Freud himself, a bit of research into this topic tells us, was addicted to cocaine, among other substances, himself for many many years, including the time of his big break throughs. If others want to run their lives around what drug addicts tell them to do, I cannot stop them. It is when those ramblings and rantings of chronic addicts are treated as some breakthrough science when society needs to question it deeply. But western society rarely questions anything and more rarely deeply. This is something that is rarely if ever taught to those in the profession. 5) Many other things, I have just scratched the surface, but we will leave it as these for now. So, they treat their patients with drugs, never cure anyone, while basing their approach on the scant rantings of an ambitious drug addict. Bout sums it up, for starters anyway. But don't take my word for this. Then you are just a believer. What is important, however, is to find things out for ourselves. this way we are not just following along like cows. Look at it closely. If you have been seeing these charlatans, leave. If have been profiting from them, leave FAST! Peace and light you, friend.
You do know there's more psychology than Frued and psychoanalysis, right? You sound like you're making huge generalizations without ever actually doing any research. I think you have a tenuous grasp on what science actually is as well. It's clear you've made up your mind to subscribe to such absurd misconceptions, even though the bit about Frued and cocaine is true, but Frued is hardly all that psychology has to offer. Good day, sir.
Daniel Bonfield Oh, you just wanted to argue. I thought you actually wanted your question answered. Don't I feel stupid for wasting so much time? Well, not really perhaps it will help someone. Peace and light to you!
Straight to favorites. I wish I'd seen it years ago.
If you think about it from an evolutionary standpoint, it makes sense why we remember bad things more often than good things.

But what makes the cells divide, causing the telomeres to get shorter/worn out?
yet to find out
@@bencyber8595 Yeah? Because if you could find out what causes the shorter lifespan and renewal of cells, one could maybe find a stopper for it
