Thanks for his video! I liked it because 1. I plan on traveling with two pups as well. 2. Wondered on how I'd get them something to calm them down. Hey there! I want to get my Cavalier (currently still growing) a vest because he is my ESA and we plan on traveling next summer but he's not fully grown so I can't just go by his current neck/girth. What do you get Herky, XS/S/M?
Stephanie Scarci An ESA is just a pet and to my knowledge they do not have public access like being on a plane. They are much different than a service dog though who does.
From my research, ESAs can travel on planes without having to be in a carrier and won't be subject to fees with a proper letter stating that your pup is an ESA as well as in homes/apartments that don't allow pets with the same kind of letter. Service animals are different and are allowed to be in all public areas and require different training. There are many ways to get a letter (different websites, your therapist, etc). I was just wondering how they went about making their pups ESAs. :)
I am in your same situation but the pills you gave them was something new for me to learn about - could you please let me know what the name of that medication is? I couldn't understand what you called it. Thank you so much!!
Oh I know. We just traveled to Los Angeles again and Herky and Milton were barking in the airport. We gave them some relaxants to make them chill, and everything was good :)
Did l hear o.k. That you gave Trazodone to your dog in pre flight?? How many mgs (the pill strong) is the pill? Because my emotional dog is nervous in plane!!
How did you know when to give them the calming pill before yhu got on the plain? How could yhu tell when to get them water on such a long flight? Were yhu worried about them peeing on the plain? Did yhu have to buy an extra seat for the girls to sit in between yhu guys?
LaKenya Buckson in the beginning she stated that she was limiting their water/food intake. The dogs are technically not allowed on the seats. I put a sweater down on the seat and my dog on top so I can rearrange and the flight attendant told me to not have my dog on the seat.
A message from a service dog handler please make sure your esa have at least basic training and are not aggressive as they could attack a service dog and put the handler at risk ik most real esa are gentle but for our safety please
They are so cute and they traveled very well. Something you might want to think about is not to use the walking sidewalks in the airports. I was a ticket agent for the airlines and one day a dog using the moving sidewalk with his partially blind owner got his foot caught in the sidewalk. It was an accident that could have been avoided. My best to you. Much happiness from Teresa
How much extra do you have to pay to bring an emotional support animal on a plane? I have an ESA in the Philippines and want to know how much it will cost me to take her with me to the US this October. Thanks
Could you please name what kind of a pill you give them and the harness? I’m on the market for a good ESA harness, he has the vest but it’s too hot for it now. Thank you. Much love from Bentley 🐶🐾
Hi!! Your dogs are adorable!! Can you tell me please the name of the medication to calm them ? I will travel with my dogs too and I am afraid of my cocker spaniel! She gets stress easily 😔
Hello guys i'm having so many problem to find out the way to bring my female cavalier king charles spaniel with me on a delta airplane from italy to USA. I think that all the airplane companies make a mistake considering the cavalier king charles spaniel and the king charles spaniel as the same breed. Could you help on that?
Marco, I'm planning on flying with my cavalier between Chicago and Amsterdam in April 2021/ My wife has severe anxiety that usually relies on medication to get her through the flight, but this time we are hoping to use Sophie as an ESA instead due to the side effects of the medication. Searching Delta's site turned up this page www.delta.com/us/en/accessible-travel-services/service-animals where there is a form named "Emotional Support/Psychiatric Service Animal Request" to download.
We used Advantix last year I believe, the one that's like an oil capsule that you put on their back. They didn't react well to it so we'll be switching to an oral medication this year :)
Love these longer videos. This was super helpful. Hopefully you don't mind me asking but how long was your flight? I'm assuming the dogs went without going potty for more than 3 hours since you got to the airport.
Thanks for watching :) I'm happy these longer videos are well received. We'll keep doing vlogs I think :) the flight went suuuuper well. They held it for over 9 hours, but they're used to it. Some pups go on pee pads so dog parents use pee pads in the bathroom in the airport :)
Herky The Cavalier Oh! That's such a smart idea. I wanted to get my dog all the paperwork to go on a trip with me. Could you maybe make a video on the requirements needed for this?
Hey, um. Could you help me? Im getting Cavalier King Charles(like your dog) its gonna be my first dog, could u teach us how to do potty training. Sit, Lay down, roll over
“Even with the pills they are still pulling” a ESa should not need pills they also shouldn’t pull. This is just a flexible excuse to have your dogs on your lap rather than under your seat
Pumpkin The Assistance Dog C-S I would never do that. I am treated for anxiety and depression. I didn’t know it was even a thing ok? I normally live in New Zealand and am home in the US for a while and have just found out how prevalent this is. My doctor would write me a letter for sure.
oh okay, sorry just so many people are just getting esa's for no other reason other than to fly in the cabin. Just remember NZ don't have esa's (if you were to fly over their with your dog you might have to have them in the cargo)
Pumpkin The Assistance Dog C-S They aren’t service dogs. They wouldn’t be on the seats and why on earth they need x2 of them seems like an excuse to bring pets into the cabin.
if you read the laws it is not restricted to one dog. Why don't you just find out what you're talking about before you comment. Emotional support dogs to play a big part in people's lives that have real legitimate reasons.

Stephanie Scarci Im sorry but they are still fake sds because they are pulling i bet they orderd a vest off Amazon
Awesome video. I am from Poland and I also have Cavalier, only tricolor.
I am in your same situation but the pills you gave them was something new for me to learn about - could you please let me know what the name of that medication is? I couldn't understand what you called it. Thank you so much!!

great video!! Such love😘
This is so helpful. But what do you do if they start whining or barking in the plane?? I would be so embarrassed and not know what to do.
Oh I know. We just traveled to Los Angeles again and Herky and Milton were barking in the airport. We gave them some relaxants to make them chill, and everything was good :)
This is why esa's shouldn't be a thing. they should have to have training before being allowed to go on a plane.
@@brookesmith5591 It's natural dog behavior to bark now and then whether trained or not.
when Mitlon is 5 months old, did she lost her milk tooth?
So cute
Did l hear o.k. That you gave Trazodone to your dog in pre flight?? How many mgs (the pill strong) is the pill? Because my emotional dog is nervous in plane!!
7:12 ….when my friends say "did you do the homework" :)
I wonder how old does a dog need to be to go on a plane? Because me and my family are thinking to go to Poland this summer and we would want to know.
I need to know WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE CUTE LEASHES ❤️
It's from cavology.com ! just go to walk, and then click ombre!
Awww. Love them!!
Hi! Will you please talk about how you have 2 esa's at once? Do you need two separate letters?
She's gaming the system. They aren't legit EAs at all
How did you know when to give them the calming pill before yhu got on the plain?
Cavaliers would never hurt a fly. Gentle as can be.
Kate Guns I’m pretty sure it’s from Julius k9! 💓🐾
The harness is Julius K9 :)
Their leashes are so adorable! Where did you get them from? And the dogs are cute themselves!
Where did you get the Emotional Support harness?
Julius K9!
Hi!! Your dogs are adorable!! Can you tell me please the name of the medication to calm them ? I will travel with my dogs too and I am afraid of my cocker spaniel! She gets stress easily 😔
Alexandra Valverde Is your dog a service dog? or TRAINED Esa?
10:58 I fucking can’t. Little squishy baby! 🤗
Can you take a dog on a plane if they are not emotional support
Your doggies are soooo well behaved. How? Lol I’m like terrify to bring my cav pup on the plane
Searching Delta's site turned up this page www.delta.com/us/en/accessible-travel-services/service-animals where there is a form named "Emotional Support/Psychiatric Service Animal Request" to download.
where did you get your cavaliers at?
Thank you for your videos! What kind of a tick medication do you use?
We used Advantix last year I believe, the one that's like an oil capsule that you put on their back. They didn't react well to it so we'll be switching to an oral medication this year :)
Herky The Cavalier I was recommended Bravecto🤔 which has really good reviews but I try to get more information about it!
They're so cute! Where are the collars from? They look so heavy duty and beautiful too!
How can you prove to an airline that you need the dog as emotional support with you on the plane?
Herky The Cavalier I was wondering how that would work. I was thinking of just putting doggy diapers on mine to prevent possible accidents.
Best channel ever
Hey, um. Could you help me? Im getting Cavalier King Charles(like your dog) its gonna be my first dog, could u teach us how to do potty training. Sit, Lay down, roll over
What a lovely uplifting video! Gorgeous dogs, and they obviously have a very happy life :)
They are very spoiled and we absolutely adore them!
I have a question why isn't Victoria in a lot of the videos you should start putting in her in them
We brought her to Cali! She most likely will make some appearances :)
How did you get your Cavs certified to be emotional support dogs?
Hello... I am a new subscriber and I was wondering where you got the leashes from? I looooove them
“Even with the pills they are still pulling” a ESa should not need pills they also shouldn’t pull. This is just a flexible excuse to have your dogs on your lap rather than under your seat
Abby O that’s what I was thinking, they shouldn’t pull at all. And they don’t even have a heel, so idk what’s going on.
My dog loves that dog food
Also my dog gets dirty easily teach me how you get them clean
What medication did you give them to calm them down?
Trazodone is a prescription medication: www.therecoveryvillage.com/trazodone-addiction/trazodone-dogs/
I live in UK my Furbabies love being chauffeured around in the Car.
Not them being the cutest dogs evr ❤❤
I do same thing for my red head chiwawa she loves it and she is a ESA🤗
How can I make mine stay with me on the seat as an emission al pet.. Please advice thank you
Don't they need to potty upon landing?
Is the emotional support a Canadian thing? I really need that for my Cavaliers!
Nope, I see them everywhere!
Herky The Cavalier how do you get one? It is really important, I do not want my Cavalier flying in cargo because he may not fit under the seat.
please don't just pretend your dog is an esa for the sake of flying. You need a valid reason to get an emotional support animal.
I'm so lonely...
I need your friendship...
What kind of calming medication did you use??
Trazodone is a prescription medication: www.therecoveryvillage.com/trazodone-addiction/trazodone-dogs/
Is that dog a service or a was
pretty sure dogs aren't allowed on the seats... I mean service dogs aren't allowed on them so don't think esa's are..
Pumpkin The Assistance Dog C-S They aren’t service dogs. They wouldn’t be on the seats and why on earth they need x2 of them seems like an excuse to bring pets into the cabin.
I didn't say they were service dogs...but yeah I think they just do it to get them on a plane easier. but who knows.
if you read the laws it is not restricted to one dog. Why don't you just find out what you're talking about before you comment. Emotional support dogs to play a big part in people's lives that have real legitimate reasons.
Selfish entitled owners
