    This was really great, can you show us the gear that use when shooting comercial videos.

      Hi Sarafina,
      I should do video about it, but normally I am using this cameras for most of my shoots lately.
      Small to Medium Productions:
      -Lumix S5ii or Sony Fx3
      Medium to Big Productions:
      -Sony Fx6/Fx9 or Red Komodo
      I will need to make a video about gear on the next video, because it all depends in the situation. Maybe you want to know a specific situation? Like an interview? And the level of quality of that interview and then I can give you some ideas.
      Thank you for your comment and hope this was helpful 💪🏻

    Your channel popped up in my feed today. It's due to a combination of "editing" and "germany" videos that I've watched. Is there a lot of room for editors, too? Also, I'm non-EU (American) - as I understand it I can move there but have to have my own business. Do you know much about this?

    • @fernandotabora
      @fernandotabora  Рік тому

      Editors yes! But you have to apply a lot, get to know a lot of people. Put your work out there. But ones you get to know your people and companies you can definitely build a proper business.
      I would highly recommend you to learn some german of course and regarding building a company. I don't know much because now I am in a position where I am still on the freelance wave. Next year I hope to build a company and for sure tell you more about it.
      But you could also keep your clients from the US. If you manage that, plus having clients here, you are golden!
      Let me know if I can help with anything else.
      Also fallow there is a editors union in germany: bfs-filmeditor.de

      Thank you, Fernando! Yes, I would plan on freelancig as a video editor if I moved to Germany.
      But I thought the rule of law was that I can only move there if I "start a business." Otherwise, I'm not sure you can remain long term as a freelancer. I really don't know. It's confusing.
      I studied German in High School. I have Pimsleur German still as well. But haven't practiced lately.

    Really love your channel buddy. I have a question : have you thought / are you thinking about moving to the USA ? I lived in Germany for a few years and returned to my country and now I'm thinking where to move to, USA or Germany. Unfortunately the zero digitalization and horrible bureaucracy in Germany is stopping me.

      It depends on you goals. I really want things to work out here. The quality of like is great and no as a creator and also with the Power of the internet you can create a buisness anywhere. Germany is more socialist than the US, and the quality of life for me is not that good as in germany. So it all comes down to, how much your quality of life you want to sacrifice for work or a bigger house? Don't know if that makes sense, but maybe just contact me through IG and I can send you a voice over explaining more things

      @@fernandotabora Thank you very much! You're a very nice person and a very good content creator. I wish you all the best. For me also quality of life is very important, because I am also from a European country, but not as developed as Germany. I am used to certain comforts that I don't want to sacrifice.

    great video! in your opinion how is the market for someone who would like to enter the film industry in munich? and language wise, can you move around with english or do you strictly have to learn german to strive?

    • @fernandotabora
      @fernandotabora  Рік тому

      Hey Mate!
      So, as I said in the video. You can work in English with no problem, but 35% of jobs require you to know german. In my opinion.
      What is important is that you probably learn how to make videos and know people to understand the market. Going to a film uni and offering your help is the best way to meet people in the area and learn.
      I also want to join a filmmakers union, because they protect you a lot from the bad said of the industry. Companies that are trying to make you work for free and stuff. But more on that in the future.
      Try to just really learn from the students at the Uni and ask me Anything else if you have questions
