Great video, awesomely produced. It needs more likes!
Thank you mate 💪🏻
I am a doctor in India, with government salary of nearly 1100 euro… should I move to Germany? How difficult is learning German and how much time needed
Probably you would need to revalidate your degree here. You would need to check that. And german takes 2 intensive years for b2 level. But do some research. Not fully an expert when it comes to that part of work process
when you said the rent would be high and then it was only €600-1000 euros per month i nearly cried. i live in Victoria, Canada whete the average rental price is over $2000
For germany is high. Like most apartments now are around 1000 to 1500 probably 2k for 2 room apartments. Specially for students is very difficult. But I get it, is not high if you earn like 3k a month. But still other places in germany are just way cheaper.
2 questions, first, do you have any degree past high school and if not, how did you adjust to Germany? Second is going to be a naive question but I figured I ask in case money was ever a consideration... Let's say, I booked a flight for the 1st of July next month, how much should I save totally in my pockets and bank account for let's say 3 months until I find a stable job and continue living in Germany?
Hi! First of all you have to plan everything to the detail. You need to have a job first so that when you arrive, everything will be more easy. Finding apartments is really hard here, so by having a job contract, you can understand how much money you will win and also the landlords will be more secure with you applications. Germans like stability. 2) you have to learn at least a b2 german. Some jobs don't need german but is always good to have. Cheaper to learn it in your country of origin. 3) what I did was crazy and is better to do plans and be sure of what you will get here. So that when you come here, you have the most chances of succes. Is really not that hard, but it takes work and time. I am doing a vidoe about all this topics now, so make sure to stay on the loop. Hope this was helpful 🙏🏻
So much value! Thank you so much
Were you using Android by then?
Still using ;)
Wow… What about health insurance??
New video coming up soon about it
Most definitely you did
How long did it take to learn German? I wanna study there but I’m a bit nervous about not knowing the language
2 years to get to B2 level
Your videos are so good that i subrcribed!
Dankeee
For an exact same size flat in London I was paying 1150 pounds a month. But even here in Spain you wouldn't be able to get an apartment for 400 in Madrid (I think it's comparable city to Munich). The prices are good in Munich! Not sure why everyone says it's "super expensive". When a senior engineer earns 75k or more.
It's mainly for people that's starting out and are students. For people that are working and earning 3k a month is fine. But still not a lot of people get 3k a month
RIP
Super annoying
Great video , new fan from Egypt 💗
Thank you mate! 🙌🏻
I want to move to Germany sooo bad! But only for a year or a few. Because I want to learn to speak fluent German and me and my wife are still young. And we want to live a little. Experience new stuff in life. To bad that there’s only 4 Swedish churches in Germany we can go to so it’s either Hamburg or Berlin we want to move to.
I'm 16 and currently watching the UK government take a big shit all over everything, so I'm considering moving to Germany or France when I'm 18. This video is super useful for me, thank you!!
Perfect
bro your editing is dope. I would love to know how long typically it take you to edit a video? If possible you can make a video how did you learn editing
Thank you mate! I will create at one point a new channel for editing
@@fernandotabora great to hear
2:14 dude, is that the mindless sanke III?
You mean the skateboard?
@@fernandotabora yeah man!
No it was a different brand. I did a video about it. Jaykay boards was called
@@fernandotabora damn, thanks for responding. Ive sold a few mindless boards, so thought i could identify it. Real deadringer!
Any idea how to reach via public transport?
I think there is a route with a bus and also a train. But just google it. In this case, we used the car of my friend
I want to know what it is like to want to move there AND start a single person business. Is it possible to find places where I can live AND work in one building?
Depends, if it office work yes, but if it's like a business with customer I think no. You can have a 2 room apartment and deduct from your taxes the space you are using for your business
@@fernandotabora Yes it would involve customers. I repair and build guitars and amplifiers as well as restore old audio equipment.
Mmmmmmm I don't know if it just pick. I think it's fine but you have to check with you landlord and also if you have a company that's just a topic that me my self I am getting into. But I think if you are a freelancer and they just come to pick it up or so then fine. But do more research hahahah and all the best mate
@@fernandotabora Absolutely! That is what I do now in the US, I just work from my home shop. I own my house here which makes that easier but I am still doing a lot of research as I also practice learning German.

Everything you need to know: Don't.
It looks super fun!!!😃
Amazing video!
Im from Munich. When I was 38 I had a medical emergency and went to two doctors. Both ignored my symptoms and didn’t listen to me because I’m a woman. I had to go to a private female doctor and pay everything myself to get a diagnosis. It only took her 10 minutes to diagnose me. The treatment cost me another §2000€. So yes Germany is amazing if you’re a rich white heterosexual men. If you’re a women it willl suuuuuuck.
love the titanic analogy 😅I can related (previously South Africa)
Maybe do a video on the paperwork process of moving to Germany and the language test...👍
Germany is not for sensitive people to move I don't have any problem with that if you want a private calm life with fewer people in it to annoying you it will be a very good place
it looks so damn good in the snowy weather. I'm visiting germany for a month in july/august, so no snow sadly. Although it looks beautiful every season. In australia we have nothing like this type of scenery.
Very cool place! Definitely a mus visit if you come here ⚡️
I'd love to move there for a while. I'm learning german now but apart from playing music, I don't have any real idea what I would do or want to do for a career. so I wouldn't be bringing much there
Give it some time a reflection. It always helps
After years of careful training, one learns how to pack one's bags at the same speed the Aldi and Lidl cashiers scan the products. This involves carefully optimising the placement of each item on the belt so that they land at exactly the right place in the shopping bag. Efficiency!😂
😂😂😂
You are an amazing creator! Really had fun while watching this video while gaining important insights regarding surviving in Germany.
Thank you man! Really happy that you liked it 🙏🏻
Got my new apartment in 2 weeks but overpaid. Any tips for a non-student to get in touch with people here?
My IG Munich group! Just DM me
Hi! I’d also looking for a studio. Could you share with me the link to join your group. Thanks
Yes just DM on IG, but the group is not for finding apartments. It's to meet people and asking questions
Is there benefit for families in Germany
Ufff I think you do get some good things, but I am not the expert sadly
Is it monthly
You mean the payment?
Moving to Germany soon! Super excited, been a couple of times on various holidays and I love Germany, can’t wait to start paving my path there!
Omg 😂 I especially agreed about the supermarkets 🛒🥒🥔🍅🥩🥐 I don't like German's supermarkets too. In Japan, everyone will give priority to the people in line in the front. So I was shocked that German people don't care at all 😹 Furthermore you don't have to take groceries out of the basket 👍🏻🇯🇵
Its horrible hahahahah
It's certainly horrible, but if you really want to be shocked by line buckling you need to come to Paraguay. At least traffic is quite humane in Germany imho, while in Paraguay people (who otherwise are very social and friendly) behave like wolves.
Love the cinematography and color grading in your videos, crazy good
Thank you so much!!! Let me know if you are in Munich. I would love to show you around 🙌🏻😊
@@fernandotabora Münich is on my check list :D so i will keep your offer in mind 🙌
Absolutely! Down for anything 🙌🏻
I feel like the situation with grocery stores much better in Berlin. Especially in Edeka and Rewe. But it was funny anyway 😂 about long line behaviour, it's same in Ukraine. 😄
Really love your channel buddy. I have a question : have you thought / are you thinking about moving to the USA ? I lived in Germany for a few years and returned to my country and now I'm thinking where to move to, USA or Germany. Unfortunately the zero digitalization and horrible bureaucracy in Germany is stopping me.
It depends on you goals. I really want things to work out here. The quality of like is great and no as a creator and also with the Power of the internet you can create a buisness anywhere. Germany is more socialist than the US, and the quality of life for me is not that good as in germany. So it all comes down to, how much your quality of life you want to sacrifice for work or a bigger house? Don't know if that makes sense, but maybe just contact me through IG and I can send you a voice over explaining more things
@@fernandotabora Thank you very much! You're a very nice person and a very good content creator. I wish you all the best. For me also quality of life is very important, because I am also from a European country, but not as developed as Germany. I am used to certain comforts that I don't want to sacrifice.
2:25 and Dublin, Ireland doesn’t allow pets - not just the US. I didn’t know that before I moved here. We basically have to taxi to go hiking with my dog. 😢
Oh nooooou, well you got to do what you got to do
I have been travelling to different countries, every time i come back Germany(where i live) , i am somehow automatically frustrated upset and sad 😅 (Generally i am a positive Happy person and always motivated , but Germany breaks me down every time) Anyone, pls Share your positive stories please 👇
You just need to balance it. Like go out experience the beautiful things about Germany. Is clearly not your culture but you can also have german and international friends as well ❤️
yes I do go out and enjoy the country's beauty 😊 that's the only thing that keeps me going 👍
And coffee! Hahhaha very important
OMG! 🤣 You explain things that are sad, very funny 😂. That was awesome!
🤣🙌🏻
Yeeeesssss. Finally. I was waiting for a new video from you🎉
Thank you! for watching
Amazing overview❤❤
i always wanted to go to germany not only because of the us being corrupt (in my opinion) i have been researching about it since i announced to my parents i dont want to live with them no more so i think its the right place for me thaks alot for the info! :D
Also, check out other places as well hahahha and compare. The EU is amazing ❤️
What is your camcorder and camera?
Lumix s5ii, rode mic A1 I think, the new one
And dear German Learners, the Reaction between 1:55 and 2:00 is Schadenfreude too ( The Joy of other people misfortune ) 😂😂
😅
Aldi and Lidl supermarkets are all over Europe and even in the US. In Poland they're nice but it depends on the location. They have usually really good deals. Also, there's great pastry in Lidl ☺️ Personally I liked Kaufland hypermarkets, they have more variety and good quality.
They do man! But I guess you have to come here and live this experience 🤣
