I've suffered over a year with this pain and it's not gone but just walking through this video with you, I've noticed some relief. Months of therapy and pain shots so many medical bills, 2 braces and no one has ever given me this much hope! Thank you so much!
Hi Gary I'm 16 and I have tendinitis.. I looked up so many stretches and massages on UA-cam but they didn't really help, then I watched your video, did the massages and it made me feel so much better !! Thank you so very much. Great video.
Oh my gosh - that was totally amazing!!!! I have just followed both videos and can't believe what a difference it's made to a left wrist I could barely move this morning (I blame being on the laptop!!!) Thank you so much :)

I am a musician who plays keyboards. I felt like my playing days were coming to a close due to unrelenting pain at my left wrist. This technique has bought me a few more years of playing. Thanks so much.
Excellent! 1 1/2 years ago (at age 68) I fell sideways on a concrete sidewalk, with my wrist and shoulder taking the entire impact. Badly sprained, I could tell nothing was broken, so I did my own therapy - splint, ibuprofen, etc. After many months I began exercising the wrist. It improved tremendously, but with osteoarthritis I still have some residual ache and weakness in the wrist. I also discovered by poking around on my own that my forearm muscles are tight/tender. It seems everyone focuses on the wrist but nobody addresses the involvement of the forearm. Basically, you are doing acupressure. 50 years ago I read Bonnie Pruden's book on myotherapy. Your videos for the forearm describe how to do it.
I hurt my wrists in a skateboard accident. I also play hockey, guitar, drums and use a mouse all day as my job. I thought I had a serious injury since my accident because I still have on and off pain a year later, which holds me back from doing some of the other things I mentioned. 15 minutes working on my arm as instructed in this video and I feel a world of difference. Thanks so much! Going to do this every day.
I did it just once while watching the video and it was very effective, pain in my wrist just vanished... magically. Thank you so much Gary. Your efforts are really appreciable. I have been in pain for almost a year now.. and have never found anything so effective before. Thanks again.

Thank god you posted this vid. I work for a ammunition plant so I deal with heavy, repetitive, motions all day. One day I woke up and the top of my forearm was TIGHT and when I moved it you could feel the tendon through my skin. After these stretches, rubbing the knots out, and heating the area. My pain is almost completely gone. Ty for posting!

Thanks, soooooo much!! I injured my right wrist one month ago. Then my right shoulder. Then my right knee. I woke up yesterday with excruciating pain in my neck and the top of my shoulders. It felt like I had a "crick" in my neck. I did some yoga stretches, took a pain pill and applied heat. I noticed that pain medication and heat were temporary. Yoga is difficult but it helps a lot. It is hard to execute yoga poses with neck, shoulder, wrist and knee pain. I watched your videos for all of these and I am feeling so much better. I did the press, pull and release technique on my upper arm right above the elbow. I found the most tender place was there! The release from the upper arm seemed to be the source of the pain from the neck, shoulder and wrist on the right side. All the other areas released when I pulled the upper arm. I also did the press on that area.
I just watched both of your wrist videos and can already feel a difference. I work at a library and am always on computers and carry books. I will keep doing your exercises. Also, now I know where to go with any joint pain. Thank you so very much!
This is amazing. I’ve been having pain for weeks and I didn’t know if they could even help with it at a doctors. I came across this video and omg it’s like a miracle my wrist is back to normal. Thank you soooooo much!!!!
Oh my god! WOW! Thank you so so so much! I have been having wrist pain for nearly a month. I do a lot of yoga and its hard for me to "take a break" - as my doctor recommended. After weeks of trying NOT to move it, I felt like that was only making things worse. In the matter of 20 minuets, your two videos, I can already feel the improvements! AMAZING. Well explained, good examples, good length. THANK YOU GARY!!! I will be sure to follow your website, and recommend to all my fellow joint achey friends. Seriously, thank you so much! I feel so happy I'm almost in tears.
Hi Charlotte, I'm thrilled you're so thrilled. Always happy to help out a dedicated yogini : ) And thanks for spreading the word about my website. It's free to the world, so the more the merrier! Best, Gary C.
This helped! Thank you! I got ulnar side wrist tendonitis from boxing (throwing the hook with my palm facing me at the wrong angle) and it had been bothering me for so long. This relieved it. Thank you

Mr.Gary, you saved my day. Been sitting behind computer from when i was 4 years old (27 now) and last two/three years i felt little pain/quick fatigue in fingers/forearms/wrists. Doing this practice for over two weeks is doing wonders! Many thanks for your videos.
Great to hear! I'm thrilled my videos helped you. Keep up the good work. Computing is deceptively hard on a body. And just FYI - my free website www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/ has videos for every joint in your body, if you ever need it. All the best, Gary Crowley
You are a gift sent from Heavens! I'm struggling with tennis elbow and tendonitis for about a year and this is probably the firs technique that helps me. Best wishes from Bulgaria! p.s. A lot of my programmers friends will be thrilled to hear about you :)
+Svetlin Iliev Great! Don't miss my free Elbow Joint Pain Series as well, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/elbow-joint-pain.html All the best, Gary C.
Hey Gary, you're a life saver. I just started using your techniques and they are already helping with my tendonitis. I am sharing with them my work colleagues too.
You are my eff'n hero!! I have been in SO much pain in my wrist. To do anything hurt, brush my teeth, buckle my son in his car seat, open a bottle of water, you name it I was in excruciating pain. Your 2 videos in showing how to find the problem area and how to work on it has been life changing. I just started only a couple minutes ago and I'm already in SO MUCH LESS PAIN!!! I honestly cannot thank you enough!!! Going to keep working on my upper foreman and work the rest of this pain out. I was in a 10 for pain before your video, I'm a 2 now!! LIKE OH MY GOD!!!
Hi Wendy, Glad to hear my videos helped. Great job by you! Keep up the good work. It's always empowering to be able to fix yourself! All the best, Gary C.
This is amazing! I was just recently diagnosed with tendinitis and had no idea it could be related to my forearms. Low and behold my forearms are very tight and extremely sore! Would never have known without seeing this video. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! Icing didn't work. I, just, did what you said and felt, instant, relief! My wrist feels lighter and less tight and painful! I believe my muscles got tight from STOPPING exercising and stretching. After three years, it caught up to me.
Hi Gary, I've searched dozens of sites for pain relief as I strained my wrist and forearm from laying a bedroom and hallway and stair carpet two days ago. I couldn't even lift a cup of tea. Your video is so very helpful thank you. I am taking part in 5k charity swim 6 days from now in Lake Windemere (the great North Swim) UK and was hoping I could still take part so I will do these religiously everyday and hope all will be well. Your an Angel thank you xxx
Thank you so much. I just started a job at UPS that I really want to keep, but the recent pain in my wrist made me think I was going to have to quit. I do know that the stretches helped, and I pray it continues to work. thank you again.
This mans a genius.. been having wrist tendonitis pain all week from computer and working out.. Followed these stretches and massages and felt about 80% better right away.. I'm glad i found a way to stretch/massage my wrists and forearms effectively..

Oh my thank you so much for these two videos. Just doing the exercises while watching on your videos has help me more than anyone has. I've been suffering even crying at night cuz of the pain in both my wrist for the pass two months. I do no want pain pills and I just suffer thinking it will ease up but just keep getting worse. By doing this while watching I can feel the difference already. I will keep doing it and see if it goes away completely. Two sore thumbs up. Thank you!!!!!

Hey Thanks! I'm a new dad to an 18mo old and a 3week old and my wrist has been really painful... I watched your 2 videos and immediately feel improvement. Awesome thanks, Damian
Wow thank u Gary Crowley. I went in to this not expecting much but after just one session it feels a lot better, especially after I did the pull and move technique I felt a bunch of pressure releasing and bones shifting. I have increase range of my wrist, that stinging sensation is gone and the swelling has went down. If I continue to do this everyday I'm sure I can get rid of this tendinitis. I'm 24 but I smacked the edge of a pool with my wrist when I was about 20 and ever since then I've had tendinitis symptoms in my wrist. I personally think I ruptured the tendon but never got it checked so I'll never know for sure. So I'm glad I found this vid, it really does work.
+Jordan Lyons That's great to hear! And you're exactly the reason I make these videos. And just FYI - my free website www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/ has videos for every joint in your body, if you ever need it. All the best, Gary Crowley
Thank you so much for your videos. I have no clue what i did to my arm; it felt something close to dead weight and had a very noticeable loss of grip. Following your videos along with icing helped so much. Thank you once more for posting this.
Hi Gary, thanks for taking the time to do these two videos....I've applied the techniques and feel an instantaneous relief...I'm now going to go and have a look at the tool that you recommend building.
I just tried doing what you had in the video due to the pain that I am having on the outer wrist bone. For the last couple of weeks I have been wearing a wrist brace when I go to work since I lift heavy metal all day it was putting stress on my wrist. And with doing both upper and under arm assessments I found many tender places and doing these small little techniques it has made a difference that I am now able to move my wrist a bit more then what I was able to do. Thank you for this video. Since I have gone and watched a few more of your videos and subscribed to your channel in case of any quick fixes that I may need to do myself. Being a single parent I don't always have to time to wait for a doctor so in the mean time this has helped me out. Again thank you.
That's great to hear. Here is my free main Wrist Pain Page, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/wrist-pain-relief.html It gives you even more areas to work. Best, Gary C.
This is amazing! It’s unbelievable actually. Thanks so much!! This has been helpful. I developed carpal tunnel and tendinitis and have been wearing 2 braces for the last 5 months or so. No real relief. I’ve added food and juices to reduce inflammation. These tips have given me instant relief. I’ll be doing them everyday now. OMGOSH thank you!

Wow! Immediate relief! The pain was so intense, I could not turn the doorknob, hold my phone, pickup my keys...Thank you so much. I will definitely tell my frinds at the gym!
On my way to holiday in Cornwall today and wrist flared up yesterday. Its been excruciating. I went through the techniques in vid 1 and 2 and had significant release in the forearm. I just might enjoy this holiday after all! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you! very informative and helpful. I've many symptoms since my 3rd pregnancy (8yrs ago), from brachial neuralgia, to wrist-pain and frozen shoulder-like issues on my right side, that have not been fully corrected ever since. I've done acupuncture which helped enormously alleviate and modulate pain. But self-care and maintenance is key, because sometimes my wrist, neck or shoulder will get triggered by some action or even if I've overdone sugar, I will wake with pain out of nowhere. Again, thank you for sharing.

Holy bananas. I had wrist pain on my right wrist for months to the point where trying to just moving it hurt. I followed both videos and its like i have a new pain free full range of motion stronger wrist. Thats amazing thank you !!!
You just saved me! I've been in so much pain. I play the ukelele and I was so worried that I'd have to stop because my strumming wrist hurt so much. After doing this press and release stretch I feel so much better!! I was thinking the whole time it was my actual wrist that was the problem. I never thought working the forearm would bring such pain relief! Thank you!
this is amazing Gary, thank you so much for all these priceless tips, i got tendinitis last year for the first time and couldn't use my hands for two months, I would every now and then massage my ams though be quite scared to hurt myself, with these exercises I feel more confident in massaging my arms and just found that i'm still in pain. Thank you again I'll keep massaging :) Sonia
Wow i couldnt hold a pen this morning and this just help me so much. Still feel some pain but much better then before. This video just saved me. I have a midterm today and was freaking out on how i was going to be able to write it. Thank you so much.
You sir, are a genius! I suffer terrible tendonitis from rock climbing and haven't been able to climb for months now due to the pain. Even scrolling through my phone has become a chore... But this is honestly the best my arm has felt in a while after doing this exercise THANK YOU 😊

Hi Gary, a year ago, another of your video guided me to reduce 99% of my sciatica pain. Now this video helps me fix my wrist pain due to intensive mouse usage. I am in a middle of PhD dissertation writing now. Therefore, thank you! Wishing all the best karma to come to you.
You are very welcome. For Dequervains you've got to get at the thumb muscles at the bottom of the forearm on the thumb side. They can be tricky to get at yourself, but you can do it. Move your thumb and fee them move, so you know you are on them. You can also have someone else dig on them for you while you move your thumb back and forth (or in a pinching motion). All the best, Gary C.

Thank you so much!! I am a photographer and my wrist has been bothering me more and more. I did a little bit of this watching this and it is feeling better! I don't want to give up my photography so hope this will help.
Thank you so much! My wrists have both been miserable from way too much computer/web design work and I can tell this is going to help tremendously. I feel better already and will keep using these exercises to release those tight muscles :)
Hi Kelly, That's great to hear. Good job by you! Yes, doing these techniques as maintenance after all you computer work is a wonderful thing to do. Thanks for commenting. All the best, Gary C.
thank you so much this worked instantly for me ..the pain has been excruciating ,It developed I both wrists over a two week period and the pain is also in both thumbs .It been painful just doing basic everyday activities. This basic information has worked wonders I can't thank you enough.I just hope it lasts
Hi Gina, Depending on what you do everyday with your wrists, you may need to do some maintenance with these techniques on occasion. Computing, driving, playing guitar, ect. can tighten tissue with the repetitive motions, so just notice when you might need a little "tune-up" and do these techniques. All the best, Gary C.
Thank you ,yes I think it's mainly due to office work use of computer and driving. I never knew you could have so much pain due to these everyday activities. Take care and thanks again
Thank you so much other videos had me thinking I was gonna need surgery or something drastic but after watching this video boom pain is almost all gone thank youuu
A big thankkk youuuu 😇😇 i was doing while watching you and it gave me really a good relief .. i was in deep agony with this pain as i couldn't be able to type even and now i got much relief than before without any medicine ....🤩🤩 again thankkk youuuu reallyyyyyy...
Great lesson, Gary. Thank you. I'm trying to loosen my forearm to relieve pain caused by my tennis serve...trying for lots of spin. Just one treatment and it already feels better!

This videos are amazing, instant relieve, I've been having pain for a few months now and after about and hour of following your instructions I could move my wrist again, thank you soooooo much. Question: since is the first time I'm doing it, can I do it a few times a day? how long? I`m using Australian Eucalyptus oil which was recommended to us for the pain...also Aleve for inflammation. Thank you again for this very helpful videos.
I had snapping sound and sharp pain in my upper wrist when twisted it a certain way performed these exercises and seemed to really help! Also at the same time I had a "brusing" felling in the inside portion of my elbow. Related maybe? Thanks
Thank you so much. This helped relieve two near sleepless nights. I do my writings on my Galaxy Note and this pain came on recently and wouldn't respond to pain killers.
Hi Gary, thank you for your videos on tendonitis. I have my side bone on the wrist hurting badly. I do hope it helps with what you have shown. I am working on it. Is there anything else I could do? Thank you so much for your time. God bless.

+Bratayley Lover Forever Great. You may have a friend press into some of the deeper tissue in your forearm if you feel like there is still work to be done there. Best, Gary Crowley

Thank you. I’m hoping this will help. I found my pain to be in the back of my forearm more towards the inside. I just finished some PT for my thumb on my left hand, and they did something similar. It was painful, but gradually got better. Now my right arm and wrist have a lot of pain (especially after pulling weeds a couple of days ago.) I actually think I caused this while trying to do chin ups! I was mostly lowering myself very slowly, and I’m betting holding my wrists and arms parallel to the chin up bar put a lot of strain on my forearms. I’m in my 60s, and it seems like it’s really easy to injure myself as I’ve gotten older. 😡
Do this exercises help with relieving inflammation ? if so how many times a day should i exercise ? and for how much time , i instantly got a relieve on my wrist just doing it once .
i boxed a few nights ago and thought maybe i had a wrist fracture, and ill still see a doc. HOWEVER, the pain is basically gone, and working in IT don't help! thank you SO MUCH. i need this for my neck! lol
Very informative but i have some questions. I'm a classical guitar player and some days ago I started feeling a very gentle "sqeezing" type of pain on the top side of my right arm and after following your instructions I noticed that the whole muscle was very stiff (granted I work out and I practice guitar a lot for my bachelor's degree). I've never payed attention to random aches in my arms whatsoever as I thought it was normal and every time I was practicing I stopped as soon as I was starting to feel uncomfortable. So I started to worry about a tendonitis problem. And the question is: How do I know if it is actually tendonitis? Can it be just an temporary irritation on the muscle tissue? With this method you're showing, how hard should you press on the muscle and when will the muscle start to regain its flexibility?
Hi Gary! Your videos and site are great info thanks for putting all of this out there! Quick question though... I supposedly have TFCC tendonitis in my right wrist and pain in the base of my left thumb where it meets the wrist. Do you have any ideas what I can do to combat these issues? I'm a traveler who mostly rock climbs and I haven't been able to climb very well in months... I'm feeling desperate for something that actually works!! Any help would be SO appreciated. With Energy, Tay
+tay thom Hi Tay, I've worked on a lot rock climbers, so I know your forearms can get really tight. Those tight muscles in your forearm are probably major causes in your issue. I think my free main Wrist Pain Relief page, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/wrist-pain-relief.html is where I'd send you first. And I recently posted a Wrist Pain Relief Tool, page here, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/wrist-pain-relief-tool.html where I show you have to build a tool that every rock climber should have. And, if you live near San Diego, I can probably fix you in one session, if you're so inclined. With Energy (I like that!), Gary

I've had surgery on both of my wrists for carpal tunnel years ago. Out of the blue, my left wrist has started bothering me again. I hope these exercises help. Maybe I have to go higher up on my shoulder. Ugh.
Thank you so much! This video is so useful for me :) I would like to ask if I can do strengthening exercise for my wrists or arms concurrently with this easing of pain treatment? Is it feasible to do both at the same? Or another day? As I am afraid I will worsen the pain...Was thinking if it could help to strengthen my wrist as well...
Will this help with pain at the base of the wrist and just so you know i have tried most things including surgery , how long does this take and any other recommendations ?
Hi Gary, great videos. Felt a difference almost immediately. How often would you recommend to perform these stretching/massage techniques? Specifically for a severe and chronic case of intersection syndrome. (2 years suffering. 1 year post tendon release surgery). Thank you!
+Kaylee Salasky Hi Kaylee, Here is an "Assessing Tight Tissue" video from my free website, www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/joint-pain-relief-techniques.html#Assess Basically, you can work on yourself as often as you'd like, as long as you dont' get to sore, then just take a break. Go for it! Best, Gary Crowley
This very much helped with my Wrist Tendonitis that i got from work activities. Is there a specific time i should be doing these, such as before work, after work or the next morning?
My answer is an all inclusive, "Yes", to anytime you want to work on yourself. If I could only pick one, I'd go with "after work," but anytime is great. Best, Gary C.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing your skills! I’m dealing with Dequervains Tenosynovitis. It’s helping a lot! ❤
You are very welcome. For Dequervains you've got to get at the thumb muscles at the bottom of the forearm on the thumb side. They can be tricky to get at yourself, but you can do it. Move your thumb and fee them move, so you know you are on them. You can also have someone else dig on them for you while you move your thumb back and forth (or in a pinching motion).

thank you so much this worked instantly for me ..the pain has been excruciating ,It developed I both wrists over a two week period and the pain is also in both thumbs .It been painful just doing basic everyday activities. This basic information has worked wonders I can't thank you enough.I just hope it lasts
Hi Gina,
Depending on what you do everyday with your wrists, you may need to do some maintenance with these techniques on occasion. Computing, driving, playing guitar, ect. can tighten tissue with the repetitive motions, so just notice when you might need a little "tune-up" and do these techniques.
All the best,
Gary C.
Thank you ,yes I think it's mainly due to office work use of computer and driving. I never knew you could have so much pain due to these everyday activities. Take care and thanks again

Awesome tips my wrist is so much better with these I didn't want to have to go the doctors for wrist pain
Great to hear. Thanks for commenting.
Great job by you!
All the best,
Gary C.
This is brilliant. How many times a day would you recommend doing these exercises? Once in the morning/evening? 3 times a day etc
Gary, do you have any video's on elbow tendinitis?
Also use a cold laser on the acupuncture points to relive pain for the wrists.
thats gary this video is great thanks for the insight
+tay thom
Hi Tay,
I've worked on a lot rock climbers, so I know your forearms can get really tight. Those tight muscles in your forearm are probably major causes in your issue.
I think my free main Wrist Pain Relief page,
www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/wrist-pain-relief.html
is where I'd send you first.
And I recently posted a Wrist Pain Relief Tool, page here,
www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/wrist-pain-relief-tool.html
where I show you have to build a tool that every rock climber should have.
And, if you live near San Diego, I can probably fix you in one session,
if you're so inclined.
With Energy (I like that!),
Gary
This is awesome! Wish I had seen it WAY earlier!
Glad it helped. Great job by you!

Gary, you are THE MAN!
So what type of doctor should i go to if you have tendonitis??
Will this help with pain at the base of the wrist and just so you know i have tried most things including surgery , how long does this take and any other recommendations ?
Thank you for sharing this information

Hi Gary, great videos. Felt a difference almost immediately. How often would you recommend to perform these stretching/massage techniques? Specifically for a severe and chronic case of intersection syndrome. (2 years suffering. 1 year post tendon release surgery). Thank you!
+Kaylee Salasky
Hi Kaylee,
Here is an "Assessing Tight Tissue" video from my free website,

Basically, you can work on yourself as often as you'd like, as long as you dont' get to sore, then just take a break. Go for it!

Best,
Gary C.
