An interesting fact: Disturbed's guitarist didn't do any solos in their first two albums because he didn't think he was good enough. This was the album where they finally convinced him to give it a go, and he is fuking sick. Also, I said it on the last video from Disturbed, but with their new album coming soon you NEED to see these guys in concert. They are legit as good live as they are on their albums, if not better, cuz Draiman commands a crowd like few can
Nick Eicher I’ll second this. The wife and I went to see them when they came to Edmonton, Alberta, and my god...absolutely SICK show!!! Always love hearing these guys, and finding out they are legit just as good live....mind blowing. The moment another tour gets announced, I’ll have tickets in hand!
Fun fact: when David Draiman blew out his voice just before the last show of the tour cycle for their second album, causing that concert to have to be cancelled, the band offered to personally, from their own pockets, fully refund the ticket prices, but said "We promise you that if David's voice ever recovers--" (doctors weren't sure at that point) "--we *will* come back here, and we *will* perform on this stage, and for anyone who keeps the ticket from this concert (ie. Doesn't get the refund), their tickets will be honored at that time." Not a single person came forward to ask for a refund, and, true to their word, Disturbed performed in that very city years later, and all of those old tickets showed up again.
David Draiman to me is the best metal vocalist of all time. His range and control is insane in every song he sings. Lot of great singers over the years but nobody has the consistency this guy has.

Ok, I saw Disturbed in concert a while ago. They bring so much energy to the stage. Especially with this song, mosh pits go fukin crazy to this song, it absolutely amazing. I’ve never experienced anything like that before❤️🖤
You want hella Disturbed, you better believe you're gonna GET IT BRAH! "Stricken" was the first song I heard by them, but "Inside the Fire" was what made me really love them. If you love "Stricken", try "Ten Thousand Fists", if you love "Down with the Sickness" try "Stupify". I know you love their covers so I have to recommend "Midlife Crisis" and "Land of Confusion" as well as "Living After Midnight" originally done by Judas Priest, it also covers the drum intro to Painkiller. My personal favourite is "The Light" it's not heavy but it has a great vibe and a message that I connect with personally. One I'd personally pick out for you is "Another Way to Die" I don't want to spoil too much but it has elements both musically and lyrically that you always pick out as good points in tracks you enjoy. My Roommate wants to chip in and say his favourite is "Immortalized" paired with its intro song "Eye of the Storm" I'd also recommend Draiman's side-project, Device. He's done a fair few collabs including "Haze" with M.Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold, "Opinion" with Tom Morello (guitarist for Rage Against the Machine), "Out of Line" with System of a Down's Serj Tankian and my favourite "Close my Eyes Forever" with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm.
i can agree with inside the fire , ten thousand fists and land of confusion. but ... stupify not so much... "personal opinion,, good song but really not something id listen to on a regular basis"
Please listen to: Disturbed - asylum As i lay dying - forsaken ; greater foundation ; nothing left While she sleeps - revolt Machine head - game over ; locust ; halo ; triplebeam, catharsis
One reason that I love disturbed so much is their range. They can do so much different music to the point that it almost takes you to another place. Whether it’s calm and uplifting songs like The Light or songs like The Vengeful One talking about social and moral depravity in the world. It all sounds soooo good and they can reach so many different people because of like I said in the very beginning they have a ridiculous range that they can play around in and experiment with and it all sounds good because they are that talented.
I went crowd surfing at one of their concerts in 2002. Just before I got to the edge of the crowd where security was trying to pull people down a few feet from the stage the song picked up and the crowd surged throwing my up in the air to eye level with the lead singer. Security tried to catch me but only hit my leg which caused me to cartwheel as I came down. I smacked the back of my head on the monitor that he was standing on singing lmao! I looked up from the floor and he pointed right at me then did a quick👌gesture. I was so hyped up that I jumped up immediately threw up the horns and ran down the aisle then back around to the bar to grab some more beer! \m/_ _\m/ Hey, Alex! Please react to Devildriver - Pale Horse Apocalypse. I've been asking since Master of Puppets. It would make my week!

Land of Confusion by Disturbed!!! My favorite rock cover, better than Genesis.
IMO Genesis Land of Confusion is better than Disturbed cover, but it is an amazing cover though
Disturbed's cover was good but the original is better imo
*Metal
"You come along like a holy man pushing redemption" is SUCH a great line.
Reason vs Emotion

Disturbed-Asylum
Disturbed- The Vengeful One
wintersun - sons of winter and stars
Love the way he breaks his words into syllables when he sings. Also so emotional and guitar, bass and drums sound amazingly SICK !!!
My Roommate wants to chip in and say his favourite is "Immortalized" paired with its intro song "Eye of the Storm"
I'd also recommend Draiman's side-project, Device.
"personal opinion,, good song but really not something id listen to on a regular basis"
i've always loved the visual of stupify so i think his reaction would be great on that video !!!
Please listen to:
Disturbed - asylum
As i lay dying - forsaken ; greater foundation ; nothing left
While she sleeps - revolt
Machine head - game over ; locust ; halo ; triplebeam, catharsis
Don't forget to add Remnants to the beginning of Asylum. And the non-radio edit of Halo.
"I don't like spiders, dude." - Alex Hefner, 2018
"facts"
Despite my knowledge of the biosphere, the only good spider is a wet spot on the floor.
