I’m doing this upgrade as we speak, dual pulley, heat exchanger, and throttle body upgrade with stage 2 IE ecm and tcm tunes. I’m JONESINGfor 500hp or even 450 hp would be so so awesome. Take off your engine covers and the hood lining, it will be good for 2 less degrees.

@@TheFittingBay Hello! I recently went stock to stage 2. And I am installing a heat exchanger as well. But i wad wondering if I wanted to go Crank Pulley upgrade as well. I've heard your cats go bad and was wondering what happens with that? I wanna upgrade my crank pulley but just worried about the domino effect or spending.
@@MrSamoannn cats will go bad eventually so what I did was just go test pipes to fix that issue but it makes the csr sound like shi* currently working on a good exhaust solution to post
@@TheFittingBay JH Motorsports in California USA has your solution with test pipes (baffled if you want no drone) and hi flow cats. I have 2012 A6 with APR dual pulley, APR CPS intercooler, AWE touring exhaust with resonated down pipes, AWE S-Flow intake.
Two weeks ago I was curious about cats (85K miles) and removed O2 sensor, endoscope inspection revealed honeycomb structure of cats is mostly blocked. I researched solutions and based on my mods JH motorsports has a kit for just about every 3.0 V6 Audi. Plus installing high flow cats will allow me to install APR UltraCharger throttle body kit.

What’s the stock power on a V6 S4 TSFI and what’s the power now after the engine mods you have done?
Stock power is 333HP and now i can only guess but i would expect it to be around 500/550HP. As soon as lockdown is over I will take it to the dyno :)

The car looks good! I have a 2011 S4 with just a ecu remap at the moment, about 435hp now but next up the exhaust system.

Did you have to cut away at any metal bits near the crank pulley for fitment?
Retro Plays Hey man, yep sure did and I forgot all about it until the end of the day. No damage was done thank god. You can access it from underneath the car with a long cutting tool and spend about 10 mins cutting it off it’s quite easy actually

Your plm heat exchanger, would you recommend it or go with something else? I don't think I wanna spend 1000usd on one, but if I had to, I'd just get a heat exchanger for an s6 to keep it cooler on my s4.
PLM has been great man, I might do some IATS for you guys but I have gone on drives and hammered it for a few hours and the power holds up fine, no heat soak.
How much coolant did you need on hand to refill after installing the HX?
I had 6 litres with me but if you have a 5er you’ll be fine. I think mine was low to begin with also :)

Installing 190mm crank pulley from 034 and bigger throttle body from IE. Test pipes and ported supercharger are next. but seriously how big of a difference is it ?
What do you think of the information that says that cats melt with the double pulley?
Ramiro Benedetti Yep needs to be done. They will eventually fail. I’ve ordered some already just waiting for them to arrive and it’s a massive job to do also :(
My driver side cat melted 2 times after 56k miles and 66k miles respectively. Only a stage 1 tune, but the replacement cat was not OEM.
Question. Im modding my audi a6 and was wondering if I am able to jump from Stock to Stage 2. And if I can do I need to have Stage 1 and stage 2 together or I just buy stage 2 only?
You can go from stock to stage 2 :) just make sure you get all the parts you need
I'm not sure which has the best proven results, 034, APR or PLM when it comes to heat exchangers?
In my opinion it’s all the same shit like I don’t think you’re gonna see huge differences, not big enough to justify the cost but I could be wrong. The used the private label one it seems to be great
@@TheFittingBay Thanks man. 034 are the only ones that I can find to actually show specs and measurements before and after the upgrade. You are probably right though! The welds look a bit rough on the PLM and even on the APR one but doesn't mean anything as far as capability goes I guess.

what about fuel consumption after the dual pulley upgrade? any ECU and TCU software upgrade?
What’s up man. Yeah IE TCU and ECU to go with. Pretty much have all IE upgrades for this except the FP. And when you go this hard on upgrades you’re not really worried about good fuel consumption haha cause it sucks.
@@TheFittingBay what fuel do you use? Ron 95 or 98? and what about oil? According to manual for USA 5w40 or 0w40 502/505, and for Europe 5w30 504/507.

Dude the vinyl wrap was one of the hardest things I’ve done to a car 😂 I’ll probably do it again in the future to get better at it but it’s definitely a challenge that’s for sure

Joshua Winfield Hey man. The B8.5 are very expensive here I honestly don’t think you’ll find one at that price. Unless they go down in value but they seem to be getting popular now so who knows what’ll happen. The b8.5 looks way better
