Not actually done a generator mission yet so thanks for this, that will save me time when I get round to it! Gran Turismo 7 has got me for the moment so having a snowrunner break. Also work very busy so time to sit and game is a bit lacking. Hope all is well, cheers for the vid Ben 👍
watch out for the generator bug when you turn on or off the generator and then quickly switching trucks. If you do not wait until the doors on the generator open fully and the smoke begins to come out, the generator will break and will not power the location. To fix the issue, quit the game and load back in. This will reset the status of the generator and make it work again.
Short, sweet and all the information you need crammed into the shorted space possible. No wonder I like Bens videos so much he reminds me too much of my girlfriend 😂
On a side note, Generators are the easiest and narrowest Fuel trailers to toe, so if you need fuel and needs to go throught a narrow road, generators are a great choise. I got a few up the wood trail on Amur. to the loging station on the north. 1500 fuel in it.
Dude mods that allow you to buy the massive oil refinery trailer (like the one in big salmon peak) are super useful with generators. Honestly Ben ive been here since 5k subs, you are my favorite youtuber for snowrunner content, and find your videos very useful. I would love to buy you a coffee, unfortunately, we live on seperate continents.
Just buy cheapest 6*6 fuel truck (or use one you havnet used for a while) and let it stay with generator till map completion. GMC9500 is a safe bet. Once fuel tank is empty - you can evac truck and drive back, or just refuel at gas station.
@ATribeCalledCars tremendously, I couldn't work out why I still had no power to get steel for the Bridge in Scandinavia, even though I had delivered the Generator. Had no idea you could turn it on.
Just playing with generator trailers in Wisconsin on hard mode without mods, spent a fortune at the fuel station as couldn't be bothered driving around collecting steel beams 🤣 With mods on it was so much cheaper... free!
Finally get a 3090 man? Loving the 3080 I have so far, running super cool with a radiator and of course like 7 fans for my 12900k since Snowrunner loves running hot.. lol.
5950X, I'll sell my 3900X so wasn't too much of an upgrade. I'd like a 3090 but might wait and see for the 4,000 series at the end of the year or whenever it surfaces. The CPU isn't a bottleneck anymore, that's for sure lol. 12900 is a beast, good choice.
What if i'm on a map without a crafting zone, but they've run out of supplies(resetting the mission doesnt reset the supplies) and i need those supplies to unlock further maps
I just bought the vanilla version of the game last week. 20 hours in, and loving it so far. I'll probably get into the DLC at some point. Do I need to get them all? Is there a bundle or a season pass or something that will let me get them all at a discount or something? Any tips, pointers in this direction will be much appreciated. Also, what is the name of the truck he is using to tow the generator in the video? Thanks.
Hey. So I'd say go for the Year 1 Pass as that is already fully available and comes with a good amount of content. All four phases (1-4) can be bought separately too but usually works out more expensive. Phase 2 is currently at Phase 7 and that's not officially out yet so probably worth waiting before buying the Year 2 Pass. As for the truck, it's either the Tayga 6436 (Tayga King review on the channel) or the International Paystar 5600TS.
@@ATribeCalledCars I’m still grinding through Michigan and I’m not completely sold about on season passes and or just to get a certain phase in which to grow my collection of trucks. All the azovs. Kolob for high saddle in mud and p12 with the chains for high saddle in snow. The tatra trucks are good. I sold the free one you get. Zikz the new one is a beast. @@ATribeCalledCars I've gone back to dragon's dogma: dark arisen, for a little while. It's an old game but I absolutely love it. I'll be back to snowrunner soon though. I just seen dragons dogma was cheap on the Xbox store so I got it while it was 80% off.
If there is nowhere to park it up, then you cannot use it. Been a while since I played Michigan but I think the generator function came in around Phase 3.
My option for 'Turn Generator On' is literally just missing.. doesn't show up no matter what I do. I think it's a bug. I hope not. That'd be a whole DLC down the drain if it's a saved bug 😫
The Paystar 5600 and Azov 73210 are good because they have the larger oil tanker, if you're meaning fuel reserves. For general pulling power, the 73210 works well too but anything with a trailer and stable will also do the trick.
@@ruslanafan1 It can work better to have something to drive it there with some fuel then return with a bigger fuel trailer or add-on and top the generator up. Or do the trailer store top-up trick if you want to cheat a bit and one is nearby. Enjoy!

Fuel truck and generator trailer combo is a huge time saver
Yep, and I realised that just as I pulled up in a fuel trick with no sideboard...
I used the Generator trailer in Maine, too. I towed the trailer to the factory with a fuel truck, so no additional fuel trailer was needed.
Smart move.
Hehe, just finished Wisconsin a week ago. Now I'm in the most "fun" area I heard, Amur.
Good luck, and if you reach THAT plane part. You can cheese it with mods if you want. We won't judge.
Oh Amur, your onroad rocks and your deep snow-mud trails had me hanging around longer than i wanted to.....
id say wisconsin was the most fun dlc . dont murder me . PLEASE
Good luck in Amur. Mod trucks are acceptable, as previously suggested.
Did all regions without any mods. And I even had a lot of fun in Amur.
