    UPDATE: 01.03.2023
    YAHOOO! My test shows from 125 H down to 104!!! 21 POINTS DOWN in ONE MONTH! Normal range is 30-100 mg/ml. By the end of this month, I will be way under the 100 mg/ml requirement. I am so happy with the result! THANK YOU, BAKING SODA, MUAH!!
    UPDATE 11/23/2022: So I took the test, and I'm disappointed to report it didn't even go down one point. My doc ordered another lab test for December. So, I will write here again at the end of this month. POSITIVE: The positive thing, though, is I have NO MORE LEG CRAMPS! I used to get cramps 2 or 3 times every day. It worried me when my kidney specialist told me to STOP taking all vitamins, because they may have hidden calcium. Magnesium is used in all these vitamins as a carrier, magnifying my kidney's calcium. Since I stopped taking vitamins, my worst fear is NOT being able to take potassium, which helps reduce leg cramps. But to my surprise, taking baking soda is a huge blessing in disguise. It IMMEDIATELY STOPPED MY LEG CRAMPS within 24-48 hours! It is even more effective than potassium or any other stuff out there!
    ORIGINAL COMMENT: 10/27/2022: My kidney has a Vitamin D overdose. As a result, the Vit D is also creating too much calcium in my kidney. Now I've overdosed on both. I started baking soda 3 days ago. I am scheduled to have another test at the end of the month. I will update the result by then.

      Creatinine can be impacted by several things...from a diet standpoint, it can take several months to start to see an impact in labs. You will want to look at BUN levels too as you change your diet. Also, a whole food plant based or plant pre-dominant diet is important. If the diet doesn't contain animal products but has highly processed vegan food in place of it, it is not helpful for the kidneys.

      This is my thought. I remember my mother telling me her father used to take baking soda for heartburn (40s-50s) but it raised his BP sky high. Heart disease was prevalent in the family. I learned from Chinese chefs and old classic Chinese cookbooks to "roll" marinated shrimps; beef, pork, and chicken slices, in a pan of baking soda as a last step in good food preparation before sautéing. I never knew why other than that it is supposed to tenderize the flesh. Would that practice lower the acid load of these animal proteins? I am now about 98% plant based. Just curious if you have some insights on this.

    • @PlantBasedKidneyHealth
      @PlantBasedKidneyHealth  2 роки тому +4

      Pairing more alkaline producing food (like fruit/veggies) with higher acid forming food (meat/animal protein) helps to lower the net potential renal acid load of the meal. It is possible that rolling the meat in baking soda would help that as well since the baking soda is alkaline producing. Though you would be adding salt/sodium to the meat. We have an episode coming out soon on potential renal acid load so stay tuned for more info!

      The human body has molars for grinding food. Carnivores have no molars. All herbivore animals grind their food with molars.
      The human body has a digestive tract that is nearly 3x the length of the human body. A three compartment system, similar to livestock like a cow or other herbivores. Carnivores have a digestive tract that is the same length of their body to prevent meat from rotting in the digestive tract.
      The human body has sweat glands and pores in the skin to secrete sweat in order to cool itself down. This is a physiological function of herbivores. Carnivores, such as dogs, lions, jackals, wolves, etc cool their body down through their tongue and from heavy panting.
      Human beings are physiologically designed to be herbivores. Seeds, fruit, vegetation. Our bodies enjoy better health from this type of diet.
      Complications increase rapidly with a meat diet.
      We eat meat out of habit. It should be a habit to unlearn, realistically.

    • @seanwright8786
      @seanwright8786 5 місяців тому

      @antithesespistopheles8112 there's more proof in a science lab and a doctor's office to prove that by natural anatomical structure that's what we are. What has been proven is that you can steer a mammal to deviate from it was naturally designed to do. Example: what wild canine species eats rice, green peas, or broccoli?
      None. Not when it's in its nature. Today you can steer a dog to eat dry dog food, with meat and vegetables. That's not what it would eat in the wild if it is left alone to function according to its nature.
      Same formula goes for human beings. You will find in evidence that in archeology that humans hunted animals for sustenance, however, that's learned behavior. Our anatomy is proof of that. We didn't just "evolve" sweat glands and pores. Do you think we evolved a 3 compartment digestive tract? I'd say not.
      We've always been designed in this physiological structure which is the highest form to break down seeds, fruits, and vegetables. Flesh eating came after. Our body's design is proof enough......in the present. This would be difficult to agree with if one is to think that we're the physical conclusion of evolved circumstances and conditions.
      Habits and customs, yes. I would agree that those change and evolve. Our anatomy? Our body's structure is proof enough.
      Eating flesh came as a result of habit and change.
