- The Corsair 5000d Airflow, a hot request from many of you and making it’s initial debut on the channel. This $2500 PC is housed in this new airflow addition from Corsair, the 5000d Airflow. Powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 3900x and cooled by the newly available white H150i Elite Capellix from Corsair all of which is paired with another new card to the show the MSI RTX 3070 Suprim. This frosty PC has all the right parts in all the right place in what should be a stunning color scheme no less. Did I also mention the giveaways for tonight like NVMe Hard Drives, Gift Cards and more. Should be a great way to kick off the weekend. Also stay tuned for the end for closing thoughts and what we felt about the case overall.

Omg FINALLY someone who actually shows cable management with the HDD drive cage in instead of out. This video has been a breath of fresh air thank you.
seriously, i had my hdd just sitting there because i had to remove the cage for cables
@@747simmer4same here. Mine is still just chilling at the bottom. No cage, no nothing.
Literally what I'm looking for so I can determine whether I really need to spend the extra on a shift psu
Sincerely one of the cleanest white builds i’ve seen 🤤 nice rgb, nice branding prefect aesthetics!
My dream build ladies & gentleman 😍
This case is amazing! You definitely know how to make it look clean. Good Job! Keep up the great work!
Hell yea, been waiting for a build in this case and my part list wishes are quite the same. Thanks for the video!
Same
Love the new set. Would really like to see you do some informational videos explaining what makes one fan, or all in one cooler better than another.
i was just looking for any build using this case bc im gonna use it for my build but you damn near using every single part i am so I'm basically gonna live in this video
Build looks great man, just a quick question. Currently putting together something similar myself, except with the capellix 115. Is it wise to wire all my Corsair rgb fans to the commander core or would you recommend using the node for the chassis fans? Heard a few different things so just after some guidance 😊
I have my rad on mb side with a push fan setup. After watching this I’m gonna switch the radiator to top mount. It’s so much cleaner looking
Ordered this case today , can’t wait to get it and follow this as a reference
how is it bro
@@somekidcalledben2083 it’s great I’ve got 13 fans t giving me an extra amount of airflow
That looks crazy good
Hi robey love your videos but can I ask why you never install fans above the psu under the gpu when the case allows like this 5000D. I think 2 fans would have looked great there.
Love the new set.
Dream build with dream color scheme. Incredible
i love how robey just picks some parts when looking at his shelf lmao
Not true
He knows what he’s gonna pick
Lol
Robey inserts ram:
Me: "CLIIIIIIIICK"
lol
nice looking case, looks like a good replacement for my nzxt H1 :)
still rocking the 750d !!
Great video, thanks!
Damn near my exact build haha perfect vid for me
Stunning.
Anyone know if you still fit fans on the side of the case and leave the cover on so you are blowing air directly on your motherboard?
What screwdriver set do you use? Can you please post a link. I am trying to upgrade/build my old PC to a new one following your videos but cant find the tool that you use.
great video, I am building my own pc atm I was just wondering if you could recommend and alternate gpu that would work in this set up that's a cheaper option?
Hey, do the USB ports work on the front of the 5000d Case? Ive put these parts into pc part picker and it says theres an issue with the board not having sufficient USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers
Why did you wire one set of fans to one box, and one set to another? I’m thinking about doing this same set up
how did you set up the airflow it the intake at the top and front and out take at the back or is it something else?
can't believe it, this is literally my pc part for part haha
The worst part about this case is that the PSU shroud takes up the entire bottom of the case. I bought the View 51 TG case which puts the PSU in the back side of the case giving you all that extra room up front. Also the back panel has lots of meshed holes for extra cooling and the cable management is a breeze with tons of room in the back.
This is a really nice looking case. I just ordered one for my new build. My old case is too small for the components going into it.
I am a bit late but i have questions ^^
As a beginner i bought a coreliquid 360r from MSI and the pump is in the radiator (didn't knew that was possible), i want to mount it front with tubes running from bottom.
Is it a bad idea to pull hot air in if i have 3 fans on top and one more in the back exhausting ?
I only have rbg on the aio and gpu, do i need the corsair hub ??
Thank you =)
I like your voice and the way you do this lol I'm subscribing
Keep up the grind Robey
Will do!!
Hey i got the 5000D what would I need to make the fans stop being on full which controllers and gadgets what I need ???
@5:26 what model of fan controller is that? Thanks
are heat sinks 100% necessery for M.2's? i have 2 slots on my motherboard but only one heat sink?
Is it normal to have a small gap between the glass panel and the frame ontop on this case?
So i can connect rgb fans to the pwm unit on this case? Or is it only for normal fans...
I have a left over cable from the case pwm any thoughts on where to connect it
Sorry for noobs, i am doing exact same build but how do you set the fans? The 3 front is pulling air in and the 3 on top w/radiator and one on back as push?
Wish I could have a pc. Can't afford one right now.
Thanks for keeping me intertaned keep the good work up! 😁
Excited for the upcoming video!
Thank you!!
Hope you can find a good PC at a good price soon! I know the market is crazy but it'll get better!
ryzen cpu's as well as cpu mobo combo deals were going for cheap good prices. The only thing you can't buy are gpu's thanks to the miners and scalpers
Extremely similar to my 3080 suprim x build except with a 4000d airflow
Y’all ain’t have no business making that beat go so hard at 08:00
oh wow your going for the same motherboard im going to use soon lol
I have this exact gpu. And was wondering how it would look and fit in this case. Possibly my next purchase. Thanks for the video!
i managed to scramble when alerted to a x trio 3070..... fucker doesnt fit properly in my t220 case..... had to put the middle front fan on the outside of my case lmao. i may invest in one of these too...
damn i love this new office
Thank you!!
can you make a PC build where you show the IO shield installation with a motherboard that doesnt have built-in IO shield. Also make that same PC build have push pull AIO cooling setup, I'd honestly like to see a push pull AIO cooling installation because Ive never seen it done on a tutorial style video, so I'm open to tips regarding that.
Was just looking up the case, and came across your video. I was going to buy a pre-build, but I said f it and try and build one myself. But the only thing I have it, id love to learn and build my 2 pc's my self. But I'm afraid of messing it up or doing something wrong and it not working. 🤣🤣
hey!
so I am thinking of using this case for my first pc build but I am not too sure wether or not if I should use an aio cooler (nzxt kraken z73) on the top for exhaust or to do like push/pull.
I am not too familiar with fans now, but I am hoping that someone might could help me here :)
I love this case
How do you get that metal plate off thats blocking the fans and the 24 pin adapter? This case is an absolute nightmare.
Well I'm sold
I'm surprised you didn't go with the Corsair icue link system, like I did. 👍
Beautiful. I'm upgrading my case to this. Just waiting on getting a new mobo x570 and 5900x. My White 3080 Strix will look beautiful in that case.
I am building a PC in June and I plan on getting the same GPU you have, do you have an tips on getting my hands on one of them? Thanks, sorry to bother you :)
@@12.9inchipad5 I got it when they dropped back in January on newegg. I haven't seen it since, sorry.
@@zheartlezz How many fans u got in that case and what’s the temp looking like ??
@@itsyoboig3325 I haven't gotten it yet. Need to convince my wife and and explain why I need to upgrade lol.
Hello good afternoon
Hey I have a question and is that I plan to purchase this motherboard with the same cabinet Corsair 5000D Airflow but I do not see that you have to connect the USB cable type C front panel
If you have it?
Love the Case and AIO
Yeah it was a great case!
did you use the comander pro to hook all the fans up?
i have the same motherboard and wondering if 5900x will work out of the box no update
For some reason my front fans aren’t working. I have 2 cables that seem like can’t be connected to anything and I am not sure where to put it cables that actually come from the fans. I have Power SW, Power Led + and Power Led -. Can someone give me a hand. I have been trying to make it work for the past few days with no success.
Damnnnn I already know this bout to be lit 🔥
:)
Still cant get my AIO top mounted as the cpu power cables are blocking the fans, its too tight a fit.
love it i have the 4000d airflow
Also a great case!
what about the hard drives where else can you put them with all the wires there
Ayyyyyyy…That’s my PC
DOES A Corsair RMx Series RM1000x 80 PLUS Gold fit
this case?
Nice almost the same build I got going.
-5600x cpu
-corsair capellix 360 white aio
-corsair 750w white psu
-16 gb white dominator ram
-5000d airflow white case
-strix 550 moba
-3070 strix gpu
- ql 120mm white fans
you are using the exact motherboard in this vid? im wondering if it will work out of the box with 5000 series cpu. did you need to update?
can the nzxt c850 fit with the hdd cage inside?
Does this case come with all these fans and aio?
Beatiful build! Anyone knows name of the song in the montage?
Hey, 5000D vs O11D which is better?
Which is better ? The 5000D Airflow or the NZXT H9 Flow ?
What sag bracket is that for the GPU?
are the fans in the back not needed?
I nearly tore my house up, looking for that damn box of screws just to find it, "in the top tray slot, located on the bottom backside of the case, behind the wires, inside the brown box." Just in case you missed it like I did. 😅
How do you get so many gpus?
you dont need commander pro in this case?
*pc bulder have no humor*
Robey: hold my m.2
Did you even plug any of the front panel connectors into the board and if you did I take it you just left the USB type c unplugged seen as the board doesn't have a header for it? I want to know because I am getting the same case and motherboard and ram but I am thinking about buying some sort of adapter so I can have all the front panel connectors plugged in
Hey, did you ever work this out? Thinking of the same case and mobo
Sorry PC noob here with a question I seem to have a similar build ordered (parts).
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x (overclocked + thermal compound)
Mobo: Asrock B550 4/AC
GPU: GeForce RTX 3070
PSU: Corsair RM1000i Series Gold plus
Cooling: Corsair H60i Pro XT
I’m going to be running this in a 4000D not 5000D. Going to be used primarily for gaming + streaming at same time. Maybe small video editing but nothing crazy. At the time I was looking into parts I was going to go either i5 or i7 after a bunch of reviews obviously I settled with Ryzen 9 3900x as it was recommended often in my price range and for the ability to run multiple programs easily but I fear now I’ve overlooked cooling I’ll be running 4 fans minus the cooling system. But I’m worried the H60 won’t be strong enough to keep the whole system cooled. I see in this build youre using h150 (wasn’t sure if it would fit comfortably) should o go straight to 150 or maybe try 110 or any other liquid recommendations?
Nice Stormtrooper build
Thanks!
Can you use a ROG crosshair motherboard in this case? When I went on pcpartpicker it says "Note:Corsair 5000D AIRFLOW ATX Mid Tower Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port, but the Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero ATX AM4 Motherboard does not have sufficient USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers. The case USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port will not be usable."
It has a Type c header
Does the PWM support 3 pin fans?
you didnt apply thermal paste?
8:09 The cable from the power source that powers the cpu is very close to the blades of the water fan. If any bumps or movements happen, the blades could not get to scrape and strip the cable?
yeah it is super close but i think the point of this build was just for show
7:08 😂😂the Best aver
no thermal paste on the cpu?
Hey, I’m thinking about doing a pretty much same build and I want to ask you about the fans. I’m going to have 7 Corsair fans and don’t really know how to sinc them. Is the pwm fan hub for the fans and Corsair rgb hub thingy for just rgb? And when I have 7 fans, is it enough for those hubs? I really want the rgb to be synchronized but don’t want pay extra for that Corsair hub if it isn’t necessary 😅
Edit: I just found the full video so it’s probably all there nevermind 😂
I have this case coming as well and I will have 7 fans? What did you find out?
@@grimer1805 I just connected them all to a single RGB hub and it worked
Would it be beneficial to do a push pull config for the radiator? Or not much more benefit? Also how quiet is this particular build under full load?
I think there's more than enough room for intake that a push pull wouldn't be *as* beneficial as it would in a smaller or more restrictive case.
Still would be beneficial though ^^
Dose the case come with fans
Can you change the rgb on that
i would like to have also see that build with vertical gpu, maybe compare thermals to vertical and horizontal gpu oreintation. (if, you are not a fan of that anti sag bracket)
I've heard 360mm radiators won't fit if top mounted but you seen to of done it easily
can Motherboard ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-A GAMING, Socket 1200 fill in this ?
Just to make it clear in 4:17 to remove front peace you don't need to remove back peace, there are 2 screws that are accessible and back peace is not even blocking it from pulling it up
You had three tries to spell “piece” correctly.
LMAO@@Space_Captain
Is the motherboard compatible?
I don’t have individual sleeved pcie cables and I have the evga rtx 3090ti so I have to use 3 pcie cables. I can’t close my back panel and just let go without it bursting open. I have to use the screw to hold the door closed. Thank god for the panel that actually covers all of that. It’s so ugly in terms of cable management that I’ve considered buying a psu individually sleeved cable kit. I have the Corsair rm 1000x psu.
yo awesome build buide only thing i would like for you to do next time is use ql fans would make it look nicer
They have been out of stock, but I am sure we will do a build with them in there soon
Other then the looks, why a b550 with an Ryzen 9? and not a x570
You know you're on the right track when you laugh at your own jokes while wearing an Apple watch.
Won't "like" "subscribe" "notify"
What CPU fan?
