I got the regular 5000D a few weeks ago because the solid white panels make for a really clean and minimal look. Paired with an all-black mobo, the msi meg unify x570. This is the case I went with for my new build, using an AMD 7900X and 3090 Ti. There’s a 360 AIO top mounted for the CPU, and 6 intake fans on the front and left side. This case does a great job keeping the system cool with plenty of airflow!

I used an i7-12700K with a Deepcool Assassin 3 with the two stock fans. Iddle temperature is 27 degrees, max temperature for one cinebench run is 77 degrees, after several minutes, slowly approaches the 80's and stays there. Temperature for real life workloads stays around the 40s, and doesn't reach the 70s.
Maybe the best PC case for air cooling.

Please, coud you tell me if the right side panel (the one that has vents) can fit in place of the left side/glass panel ? I'm planning to buy this case, but I hate RGB vomit and TG panels. I would actually order a right side panel and put it in place of the left one, to get rid of the glass thingy. From what I've seen in many vids, they look like interchangeable (same holes at the same heights, same shape, etc.), but I'd really like to know for sure if it's possible. Thx in advance.

5000D is bigger (can fit 3 fans in the top, and a 360 rad mounted lines down in the front), and has one more USB-A input on the top.

Like 4 main differences if you are fairly new to all this
1: cable management. The 4000D doesn't have brackets for your cables
2: side air ventilation. The 4000D didn't have that
3: extra USB port by the power button. The 4000D only has 2 USB ports, but 1 of them is C-Type and the other is USB-A. The 5000D has 1 USB-C AND 2 USB-A

13:16 What you dubbed "air scoop" in that case was what I just built out of card board in my case. It brought down GPU temps from 63°C to 61°C vs blowing the air against the edge of the PSU. (I used about 25cm/10" of cardboard and made a ramp from the bottom of the case to the top edge of the PSU.) Gentle curves work better than 90° angles, no doubt.

Also, the non-airflow version (either solid or RGB versions) still have plenty of airflow because of the large angled gaps on the sides of the panels. I've got a 360mm corsair AIO side mounted for a 5900X and a 3080 in my build, and even the non-airflow version keeps those at perfectly acceptable temps (~70C 5900X with PBO and ~74C 3080 stock in Cyberpunk in a 21C room). Obviously could be lower, but could also be much, much worse for a "non-airflow" case.
