- Today we are building a custom gaming pc build inside of the corsair 5000d airflow. We build an Asus z790 system paired with the intel core i7 13700 CPU and Powercolor Red Devil RX 7900 XT GPU. There is one part in this build from corsair that is a bit of a game changer!

Great to see im not the only one with 64gb 5600 ram however i did oc my ram to 6000mhz cl30 compared to 5600mhz cl40
Brings back god awful memories of the early thousands wen you weren't LEAT unless it was all corsair/asus and you could easily find yourself being bullied and publicly shamed for having dared to show off anything less

I don't get replacing the AF120 RGB Elite fans with the inferior (as far as cooling is concerned) QL120 RGBs.

Looks awesome, but I am wondering about the side fans inside, wouldn't it be better to have positive pressure setup than negative pressure? You set it up to where it has 7 exhaust and 5 intake. Wouldn't it be better as 8 intake and 4 exhaust?
Not in every case, if you configure the fans speeds then you can balance it out or even make it slightly positive even though there are less intake
@@DesignsByIFR just to butt in, but.... You have 3 intake fans in the front and directly next to those you have 3 of the same size set as exhaust. This is what bothered me. That fresh air is just going to shoot straight back out without cooling anything really...

I did my full corsair build years ago. At the time corsair didn't sell the SSDs, so I might swap my Samsung 960 Pro once it gives up the ghost.

Should have been water cooled, that way you could have used Corsair gpu block.
Corsair dont make lots of gpu block options unfortunately

So your intake fans are next to your exhaust fans? How much air will the motherboard get with that setup 😂

For one all your fans need to be matching same fans. the other problem is the side fans need to blow in not out.

I thought the 5000D only comes with one fan on the front?
The standard 5000D Airflow comes with 1 non rgb fan in the front and 1 in the back. The 5000D RGB Airflow, which is used in the video comes with 3 corsair rgb fans in the front.

Won't that many fans pulling in air have so much positive airflow that it will be dusty as hell?
Not at all, the trick is to set fan speeds to even it out or slightly positive pressure

I accedently bought the psu with the ports on the side. After some case mods, it looks cleaner now. Oops.

Every brand is going start copying corsair with the side cable interface

Because corsair parts ain't cheap 😂 & I luv corsair mainly for there ram, cpu watter blocks & psu. I just upgraded my pc with these parts parts plus MB and cpu only thing left is my dated gtx 1070 & my wallet is hurting

Why Has Nobody Thought of This Until Now? well they have corsair stole this idea in the past ( i cant remember what company) made this same thing but it didnt sell much compared to regular powers supplys so it was scrapped

@@DesignsByIFR Just about everything. It's resource heavy, it randomly detects an Asus Mobo one day and can't find it the next, profiles disappear, AIO ! error, Corsair hubs are notoriously faulty, poor LED diffusion, QL fans LEDs die out, cable mess, overpriced coolers and fans with poor performance.
Literally anything else is better.
You used an Intel CPU. 😅

Actually that’s sort of what I have, I went with Corsair because I already have basically everything else corsair (headset, mousepad, etc)

They have a great eco system of products
malfunctionsair never touch asus or corsair unless you got the budget and time for them to be replaced by warranty or buy when they break LOL

wasn't exactly all corsair parts as the motherboard was made by Asus, CPU by intel, and the GPU was made by powercolor.
