@Meng Chan Tang Cheers Meng. If you like the particularly sound signature of the TLV, there's no way you'd be disappointed with the build. It's a beautiful instrument. Love to hear how your thoughts if you end up buying.
Hey Meng, I just read your comment in the notifications - but for some reason couldn't find it anywhere in the comment section. Anyway, delighted to hear the TLV delivered as expected. How about that neck eh:)
Thank you for this comparison. One of the best of YTb, without any doubt. Love the Level and EQ comparison. Very usefull and interesting, also your final ideas. Don't know if it's possible, but an ST comparison including the Shijie, Squier and Fender would be a hit. Keep on doing quality videos and thanks!!!!
Ted, that first riff was Slave by the Stones from their (slightly) underrated album 'tattoo you'. Any riff on any of my videos is going to the stones about half the time - I just can't resist!
That roasted maple neck is a joy, a pleasure! Plays like butter. Generally the build quality is excellent across the board, nothing really stood out as being sub-par in any way. It was definitely interesting to play and record them all in such a systematic way, as subtle qualities revealed themselves through the process. Since filming I've sold on the two fenders and kept the other two. Kind of regret selling the roadworn! The custom shop was expensive and for that kind of money the guitars have to really speak to you to warrant keeping them - not that it wasn't great. But the pickups were a tad bright so... the merry-go-round continues!
Thanks for the video. Shiji looks awesome, sounds awesome and with the reputation on their quality I really want a Shiji .......but getting one in Australia is such a hassle with customs and paying import taxes. The Shiji company respond to emails in a flash which is awesome but Im thinking a Fender is just easier, cheaper and not that far behind it after listening to this.
Yeah the import taxes further complicate the decision no doubt - it’s hard enough buying unseen! There’s a lot to be said for being able play a guitar before you buy and nothing sounds more like a tele, than a tele! You could keep your eyes open for a 2nd hand shijie though i haven’t seen one yet.
Cheers Bill - didn’t have a chance to compare that one. Almost picked up an old peavey T-60 the other month but the deal fell through. Still on the lookout for one…
Well, not exactly sure but approximately the custom shop would be about 3k, the k-line 2.5k, the roadworn maybe $800 the shijie I think was about $650. All in usd. Those are new prices.
Great. 👌👌👌❤️❤️ Thanks for this gift 🎁. Waiting for your next video. Best of luck. We are also working on the gaming video. We hope you will support us 😊…
Nothing can touch a K-Line, but for the money, I’m loving that MIM Road Worn Fender. Sounds and looks terrific.
Agree with you on both counts!
Amazing video Jeremy. I think I'm going to grab a Shijie tele. It seems simply amazing and well worth the money

@@JeremyJames_studio Will write about it for sure. Btw what's that piece of software you are using for EQ test?
@@mengchantang2807 That's just the channel eq in logic X, nothing too special actually. Just trying to give people an idea:)

Many thanks for that...a s-style comparision is a great idea. Unfortunately I only have a single strat, so it won't be much of a video!
Really like how the K-Line sounds compared to the others. Focused without sounding too Hi-Fi.
Me too, but the lollar humbucker makes comparision a little hard- didn't stop me though!
Best demo style I think I've ever seen. Cheers
Cheers Thomas - this was awhile ago. I ended up keeping the two non-fender guitars which strikes me as a little strange 😅
Really nice no nonsense comparison. Thanks!
Cheers Brett, appreciate that.
@@JeremyJames_studio Keep it up. You got another subscriber. You do good work.
Good comparison , pls tell me what the first riff is ...need to know ! Thanks .

Great video! All look snd sound great. How do the build qualities compare? And how do you like the roasted maple neck?

To me the Road Word was the best!!!!!!!!
It was probably the most enjoyable to play all things considered 👍

Peavey Reactor is missing, one the finest necks Ive ever played. Good video.

what about all these 4 guitars price?

honestly they sounded like their prices!@@JeremyJames_studio
K-line by a mile. Surprising how thin the Fender CS sounded.
The K-line was my pick too...that CS tele sounded awesome with the right amp settings but with a flat EQ it does sound a bit thin by comparison
Love K-line - humbucker neck though might be a bit unfair :)
Not a Fender CS but a MIM Roadworn .
Is that a K-line PAF in the neck?
No actually it’s a lollar imperial I think, possibly a low wind. I have a pic of it somewhere if you need definitive confirmation!
@@JeremyJames_studio Thanks! No need for confirmation, but thanks for offering.
Here's a question that might seem silly, but how do the Site guitars stack up against Shijie?
Jerry, do you mean shijie vs shijie?
@@JeremyJames_studio I meant Sire v Shijie
@@jerryhollis8155 Sorry, never used Sire so couldn't say...
@@JeremyJames_studio Thanks
