Yep, Lollar Special T's are great...thick, bold, clear, open, articulate....exceptional...even 'better' than Fralin Blues Spec...by a smidge. Shopping for my first boutique Strat this week...used...lefty...found a nice K-Line, a Suhr, an LSL, a couple Anderson... Did greatly improve my 93 MIA Strat by dropping in an old set of Zexcoils. Decisions decisions. But at the end of the day...I"m a Tele guy...got all kinds...various pups...on a CS, LSL TBone, USA, Mex, FGN, G&L, CV50, even two HB's. My favorite is the 6.5 lb Tbone...amazing resonance like your Truxton.
Thank you Duane for the review and for playing this beautiful K-line Truxton so well. I don't know which K-line sounds best to me; the Truxton or the Spingfield.
i have a white one with rosewood board, best 1 i had also...pickups are great..everytime i pick it up its like having a les paul and strat in one...get all different kind of tones with it...
Yes sure, these are K-Lines signature pickups. GREAT pickups that are vintage sounding, but have some balls to them, which is what I like. I don't usually like thin, bright Tele pickups.

Chris is a class act!! His guitars and pickups...are Fabulous!!!
I need to check K-Line specs on those pups, very nice. Thanks!

Just learned about the Kline from you here. Love their prices
Hi. Are you still liking the Truxton a year down the road? You haven't made any other videos with it.
I'm still loving the Truxton for sure! My favorite Tele that I've ever owned. I need to make some more videos with it for sure!
Thanks so much for this and such good playing! I ordered a springfield yesterday after watching your video :)
Hey thanks so much for listening! I'm flattered about that. These are really great guitars for a reasonable price!
@@duanebroberg Yeah... I ended up getting a tele as well haha

Nice Duane, I have one like yours with rosewood fret board ! True Love!
Very Cool! I bet that its awesome!
does anybody know what type of alnico pickups do they use for these pickup set?
Great sounding guitar. What amp are you playing through?
Wow! That K-Line has it All! Man, I got to get one!!! Great review Duane! Serious Mojo from guitar and your playing!
Thanks as always brother Bob!
I’ve got a Springfield that I love, this is my perfect looking Tele, blonde / white guard is where it’s at.
I wonder Duane: do you prefer a maple neck over a rosewood one?
Hey, could you please let me know the pickup configuration you went for?

@@duanebroberg Awesome, thanks!
Great review!
He starts playing at about 6:15. Talks about the instrument until then.
Yep, that's how I roll. Thanks for watching.
Thank god, no chicken pickin.
