Awh. Those shoes that have been with you all those years, all those trips, a sentimental treasure to you, passed on to someone else more in need is truly priceless. That kind gesture will come back to you in blessings threefold if not more. Truly altruistic. I feel like my day just got blessed too!
I was moved by Sherlyn's tears early on when she saw how hard the porter(Tatay?)and his daughter worked and hiked barefooted. Later she offered also her new shoes to the young girl. The compassion the two of you have for others is impressive. Thank you both for your kindness on behalf of our fellow humanity. Also impressed how Sherlyn jumped into the truck like one of the guys and not like a twice-crowned beauty queen. Remarkable lady with a remarkable man.

Your video reminds me when me and my husband was hiking in bukit lawang north Sumatra Indonesia, half way of our hike we got chase by orangutan name Mina, My husband 20 years older than me, I saw him to the lowest point until I cried of fears and cried to see my husband struggle but we are lucky that we have scout rangers accompany us, the positive view of my experience is my husband stop smoking after the incident, and he was smoking for 30++ years, I always love your videos❤❤ I skip wen sherlyn cry k mo hilak pod ko😅😅 amping mo duha perme❤❤❤

I think there are a bunch of people that have no idea how hard some people's lives are and how they manage to go thru life everyday with a smile on. Amazing adventure and incredible story by the porters. For so many years from the previous hikers and adventurers nobody noticed these people guiding them to the top that they're just barefoot ed and nobody lend their helping hand to provide them the right shoes to wear like what Finn did. You should never be hesitant to film acts of kindness, Finn. You have the purest intentions and the world needs to see more of those stuff. As long as it's ok with the person you're helping to be on cam, there's really nothing wrong filming it. If the reactions of those you have helped made an impact on you, then capturing those reactions on cam and showing it to your viewers may also have positive impact to your viewers.
