- We have officially discovered our favorite island ever... Siargao Philippines! This island is an absolute gem. We surfed, we partied, we explored, and we even went on an activity packed boat tour through Sohoton Cove. Don't miss this amazing place.

*_I was in Siargao last year and there was no power outage. But Siargao's not for me, some tourist spots there are overrated like the Maasin River and the Sugba Lagoon. Lagoons in Palawan are a lot better._*

Siargao hotel owners please give people their money back . You will only get a reputation and you will lose potential tourists. Short term gain will lose in the long run . Siargao don’t get greedy . Think big picture!

Guys july is the beginning of the rainy season in the philippines you will encounter rains a lot anyway i hope ypu still enjoy our wet season

Haha, Boracay is a big downgrade from Siargao. Way too many people and really, really dirty. Was there last month. Go to El Nido or Coron.

Siargao is nice to visit like Boracay, El Nido and Caron but for me I won't live there. There are no good hospitals and infrastructure. BGC, Makati and Cebu is where I prefer to stay. It is close to international airport and seaport so I can travel to different islands and neighboring countries. Power outages and intermittent internet is not what I prefer.
Sorry but its not tje best island in Philippines. Lived here long? Me and my filipina wife live in Philippines and everyone knows there are literally hindreds of beautiful islands everywhere. Claiming ones the best shows how ignorant tourists are. Just say its the best in your opinion.
Im not believe that siargao is the best island in the PHILIPPINES There are more beautiful island in this country in LUZON you can see the best beacth in Pangasinan Baler Casiguran mindoro Palawan and etc, Why the Philippines was so many white sand beacth because the Philippines surouded by PACIPIC OCEAN and archepelago country, GOD BLESS YOU AND BE CAREFUL TO YOUR HEALTH. Filipina here. I've been around the Philippines. I've been to a lot of Luzon beaches - Pangasinan, Baler, La Union, Sorgson, Albay, Zambales, Anawangin, Puerto Galera, Coron... I've been to Boracay 6 times, also was in Cebu. But Siargao IS the best. The island tour in Coron is amazing but it's too far away from the main island (takes 1 hour and a half). The islands in Siargao are closer... also the vibe is great. Surfing in the morning, clubbing at night. Dami pa restaurants. Boracay is the same, but activity-wise, walang ganap sa Boracay. Luzon beaches are boring tbh... The prettiest one I've seen in mainland Luzon is the pink sand beach in Matnog, but there's nothing to do there. Puerto Galera has nice activities but the beach is pretty mid. Kaya Siargao talaga pinaka maganda for me. Planning to go to El Nido soon and I'm hoping it becomes my number 1 PH destination...
