28:00 The man with blue stripe shirt is correct. Seed is a number used to initialize the first random noise image which then used to generate the final image. It's important for replicating the random initialization.
I love listening to the boys just talk about random stuff. You need a whole podcast where you guys just talk to each other like Bros hanging out after work
Marques just chilling in the dark, with the exception of one lone candle, just makes me feel like we need a one off podcast of the gang sitting around a campfire telling stories
I've tried Oculus and after 30 minutes you do notice fatigue due to weight. For AR/VR to be the "preferred" device, it has to be so light you don't even notice you have it on and 8 hours later you take it off.
If you were wondering, Here’s the clip of Apple, promising Mac Pro It that it never happened ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkx-qUwPXImMfzMTpu0_84433-VSVk1LRm1 47:45
The cheaper Razr was the one I completely ignored like everyone did for the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat all season. It looks almost exactly like a Flip 3 & 4 but a smaller cover display at 1.5". But if rumored price at $799, it's got me interested in it a little more. I still prefer getting the Razr+ mainly for the bigger cover display and better SoC. But I wouldn't mind getting the cheaper Razr as I don't use the 2.7" cover display on my Razr 5G a lot except for GMaps and watching videos. I usually open the phone when I want to use it. And who wants to reply to texts using that 2.7" display? The keyboard already takes up like 80% of the screen. The Razr 40 (non-plus) has surprised me with the build quality. No more glass from top to bottom. As Michael Fisher has stated, it has that p-leather (plastic/leather) that the BlackBerry Bold 9000 had in 2008. I like that feeling. It looks way more durable than any foldable flip phone I've seen. It's cheaper. It's durable. It has stamina. I think the cheaper Razr is the way to go for most people who aren't into tech. There are already question marks about the durability with foldables. The cheaper Razr is the one you don't have to spend so much to take on those risks. It has everything the Razr+ has except the SoC and large cover display. The more budget-friendly Razr will open the doors for more affordable foldables. Samsung will copy this and will eventually release cheaper models of their Z Folds and Flips. Everything always boils down to price for most consumers. When more budget-friendly foldables gets released, we'll eventually get to that sub-$500 barrier. The truth about having a bigger cover display on a flip phone is you're still getting a square. A half of a slab. Trust me, I've tried using many different apps on my Razr 5G from there and it's not an ideal experience. Try replying texts from it or browsing the web. Best use for my case is GMaps and streaming apps like UA-cam and Netflix. If you already own a Z Flip 3 or 4, the Razr 40 doesn't make much sense. The 888 and 8+ Gen 1 are still superior to a 7 Gen 1. But if you don't own those Z Flips, want a bigger battery, want that soft touch material, and don't like that Samsung trench of a crease, then the Razr 40 makes a compelling option. 'Meaningful' cheaper better mean at least $400 cheaper. If priced at $700-$800, there are far better options like an iPhone 14 and Pixel 7 Pro with better SoCs for a little more. Razr 40 should try to compete in price with the iPhone SE and Pixel 7a. What I really want is a Sony flip. I've seen the rumor for an Xperia Compact return but no cover display? They're still a very popular form factor in Japan after 20 years. Why not cater to their home country? I want a Sony flip, a Pixel flip, and an iPhone flip if we're never getting back the iPhone minis. Oppo Find N and N2 still offers the best outer displays until the Pixel Fold is out as it's basically like using an iPhone 12 or 13 mini but nearly twice as thick, wider, and heavier. While the Pixel Fold is about the same as a Nexus 5 in height (140 mm range).
Faraday did the old mechanic shop trick. Price something really high so they know you won’t buy it, BUT they can say “hey we are offering it officially but we just haven’t got an order yet”. Then if someone actually does pay that price then even though it would be a headache, they can at least say well we are getting a lot of money for it.
For Europe, tesla actually used a modified type 2 connector first, and then moved to type 2 ccs later. Also, nacs wouldn't fly here as 3 phase service with smaller breakers is common here instead of single phase at 100+ amps and nacs physically can't do that as it only has 2 beefy conductors instead of 5 of regular type 2 plug here. Also type 2 plug is smaller and less breakable than type 1, because locking mechanism is on the car, same as nacs, and not on the cable.
I worked for an ISP during sandy, the outages in North Jersey were wild. I had someone that called in when Jersey City had no power, so there was no services, and they were asking for an etr. That area was like 99.8% down and the 0.02% stating online was an error.
6:37 I think we need a "dumb" charger standard. And all the regulating of the flow happens within the vehicle or within the "pump" ... Like, either wirelessly or via a secondary cable. So, instead of needing to communicate via the charger port, that thing just pumps electrons into the car, then wirelessly the car tells the pump "ok, I need this much" or "I need this rate" or w/e info they need to send.... OR you have a USB cable (or some such) that you plug into the car as well. One "cable" for the "fuel" (electron) connector, and one cable for the data. Trying to combine them I think is where any idea of a standard is being fubar'd. Just look at the edison plug, or the UK plug, or the Europe plug. These things are dumb dumbs. Been around for 100 years, practically unchanged. Just metal blades that carry electricity. If you need power to be regulated for w/e reason, the device being plugged in handles that. Think of a power supply in a computer. You're not getting a special outlet in your wall to plug your computer in, you're taking the raw power and then messing with it at its destination. Again, I could understand some need to have communication back and forth, but trying to merge power & data into one plug/cable is pointless. Split them out. The easiest solution is wireless (maybe), and then you could have some backup physical standard in case there's some issue with the wireless less. And the physical standard could be much less sophisticated, bare minimum data. And that could be standardized as well.
I'm a 2021 Mach-E owner, and I absolutely love my car! There have been so many fun feature packed "Tesla-like" software updates lately like media streaming, games, etc. Now, being able to use Tesla chargers is so awesome! I love that just because I'm an early adopter, I'm not being left out of these software and hardware feature updates, which makes me a happy customer!
@1:18:45 get a reciprocating saw, it's a mini-chain saw with the ability to cut metal for demolition if you need to. THAT is a fun power tool. The whole staff is great, but I am vibing hard with andrew rn.

As for the iTunes on other phones, remember that Apple was developing the iPad first around that time. Finally Steve said, “let’s shelve the iPad for now and build a phone based off similar tech”. 3 years later, it’s an iPod, phone, an internet communicator….the rest is history! At the the time of iPhone launch, Android was being built to copy blackberry…..
How is that when Apple announced in "accessibility"section it will be able to synthesis your voice after a few words and everyone wants to Marvel about it but not think about the consequences, but when Samsung did the same with Bixby Voice either it was ridiculed or looked at negatively.
CCS in the EU is different than the US so it doesn't matter. EU has mennekes for L2 and the US uses J1772. NACS combines L2 and DC Fast Charging. Tesla never came with a CCS adapter. They come with a J1772 adapter and now the newer cars can use a CCS adapter to charge on CCS.
Sad that essentially none of the ThinkPhone coverage highlights the fact that it conserve as a PC for many people all on its own thanks to Ready For desktop mode. No ThinkPad required.

These phones are also lighter and are very comfortable to use.
I know you guys aren't a leaker channel/about leak content. But the Mac Pro isn't cancelled. New info keeps leaking about it all the time. It's just gotten delayed a bunch cause Apple can't decide whether they want to settle for putting an M2 based chip in it or wait for TSMC to figure out issues they've been having with M3 based chips and how that impacts the release schedule. It may or may not be announced at WWDC, but it's very much still in the pipeline.
Hoping for another behind the scenes and coverage of the entire event for WWDC. Great episode and wish Marquez will have its Mac Pro wish come true in a few days. Let see. Keep it up
so thats what samsung galaxy did (similar), instead of detecting the locating it detects the object and it gives you the photo. (the moon drama that went all around). (AI camera project)
Actually the CCS port is better apart from the dimension side, when it comes to home charging with the Type2 and CCS we are able to charge AC up to 22kW at home, with NACS it is not possible.

It's called the Razr 40 Ultra internationally.
In the U.S. it's called the Razr+.
Yeah. Similarly
Razr 40 = Razr 2023
I'm writing this while watching WWDC and Apple just revealed the Mac Pro with M2 Ultra. I can only imagine Marques is jumping in his seat!

In Taiwan, Tesla used to sell cars with NACS port, recently they switched to CCS2, but all the other EV uses CCS1.
3:25 Aptera also uses NACS, they may not have begun shipping yet. Though Aptera is the first vehicle ever to utilize NACS outside of Tesla.

Ford moving to Tesla's charging port is definitely bad for other chargers using CCS since they don't have incentives to improve CCS anymore.
Actually the CCS port is better apart from the dimension side, when it comes to home charging with the Type2 and CCS we are able to charge AC up to 22kW at home, with NACS it is not possible.
