That's funny I watched your video when you first got your stinger in 2018. Went and got a brand new 2018 gt2 stinger. Then 8 months later saw your video how you traded it in for the genesis because you was bored. I was like how can you be bored in this car, 2 months later got rid of mines because I was bored with it 😆.
Damn yea man it's just how this thing was hyped up that got us. What year was your Stinger that you sold? I think they made improvements over time but this is still a comfy cruiser with a lot of power.
I was planning on waiting for the 2022 as well but I just found out that in Canada things are changing. Up here we two specs, the GT and GT Ltd, but for 2022 they are axing the GT and creating a model above the GT Ltd called the GT Ltd Elite. They are also taking all the options that differentiate the GT Ltd from the GT and adding them to the Elite. So in essence they are just changing the names which wouldn't be a problem if the prices were consistent. But no, the GT Ltd will be the same price as the 2021 but with a similar spec to the outgoing GT. So for me, now the decision to buy or wait was made much easier. Not sure how its gonna be for y'all in the US with GT, GT1, GT2 specs. If anyone knows I'd be curious.

Waiting for depreciation to beat down a HiChroma red GT2 to my price range. It’s too bad that you can’t get the red interior with the sweet red paint. Gotta save my money to invest in gold stocks, junior miners, and eventually short Tesla.

The k5 and Stinger are so cool. I wonder why it is that its generally appreciated by everyone. Admittedly I have stopped a stranger to give them the thumbs up on theirs at the grocery store lol.
I am going on almost a year for my 2020--been to the track and not one hiccup.I sprung for AWD and it is awsome at the track and in bad weather--I came from a honda and the quality seems to be on par with Honda which is fine for me--performance was first and reliability 2nd--was going to get a Civiv type R till I drove the stinger and it is a much better car and faster car in all aspects.Also the car is very fast in comfort mode--i just leave it in that mode and get 22 + MPG in the city right now--although my city driving is in rural areas with very little stop and go--car is fantastic for the price.
A lot of people make the mistake of thinking the Stinger is a sports car, it's not it's a Grand Tourer, they forget what GT stands for, it's meant to be practical and comfortable for long distance travel, whilst being dynamic/sportyish.
That's true my friend, GT somehow got confused with sport. Its a great tourer and fast as hell with a ton of practicality. It makes sense in the right trim and price with the V6
Great review and quality video once again. The Stinger looks really good and I'm suprised so many people including you were bored of it, I didn't really see it as a driver focused car just a really nice and affordable one. I feel like the Stinger is gonna be a bit of an improtant car. I wouldn't say classic but with the way Genesis and Kia are building such great cars now it makes it an important turning point in the car world in my opinion.

I bought the micro blue 2021 stinger in October and it’s my first car purchase . I upgraded from a 2009 Nissan!! I’m in love with it ! I always get compliments on the color even when I go through drive thru lol. A lot of people are surprised it’s a Kia.
Good review. It is a super car and easily the best car I have owned here in Australia and I have had some great cars in the past. Unbeatable value for money when performance, driving experience, handling, standard equipment and warranty are taken into consideration. The GT is the top of the line here in Oz and everything comes as standard without having to option anything. It is fantastic on a highway and great driving around the suburbs. Kia claim 4.7 seconds from 0-60 mph however there are video clips where people have done 4.2 in a stock standard GT. From my experience, I tend to believe it is closer to 4.2 than 4.7. It is insanely fast when you want it to be.
Bought the 2018 Gt1 AWD in Ceramic Silver. Used.. 18k miles 36k Out The Door with Ext warranty bumper to bumper 100k. Great Car Great Price Love It !! Changing Out exhaust with MBRP next month. Great Channel Bro.
Great review. Great intro. I own a 2020:Stinger GT AWD Limited, which is all we can get here other than the 2.0 version. My previous car was a 2014 Optima SX Turbo. The difference between those two cars is significant but what I truly realize is what Kia is doing. They're not attempting to compete with the German rivals, they're creating vehicles that no matter the price, inspire confidence, comfort, performance and reliability. My Stinger has lowering springs and front/rear sway bars installed. The steering is the best I've felt in any car I've driven be it my mom's BMW 330 to my dad's Merc 550 SL. Kia has an agenda here and it's to produce something that inspires, performs and continually puts smiles on those who drive it. And they're doing it with materials within the budget constraints they've set out. And they've made it beautiful on the outside. I couldn't ask for something more perfectly balanced for my needs and budget that I can say with utmost confidence. Well done KIA! Well done on this review.

I also had this car. I bought it with 7k miles on it but i overpaid and couldn't live with that. I put 7k miles on it and traded for a 2021 BMW m340i. I got the BMW for about the same as when i overpaid for the Stinger and I feel that it's just a better car, for me. Better tech, handling and most importantly, gas mileage. The Stinger had a better Harmon Karden though. Good review style. I think I'll sub.
@@MeynMotorGroup I had so many come by, or stop me as I was driving by, just telling me how sweet it was. The only one that took a while to come around, was my direct neighbor that owns an M3, which I expected. His son, who owns a 2019 or 2020 328i, actually came by a couple days later & ended up telling him what a Stinger was & all of a suddenly the next day, he wanted to know all about it! I got a Can-am Ryker two months before, but I think everyone was more impressed with the Stinger. I also have a 1st gen 300 SRT, that I haven't had long either, but everyone wants to know about the Stinger.

I've had my 2019 Stinger GT1 RWD for one year and couldn't be more pleased. It has met/exceeded my expectations and what more can you ask of a car? It's a great vehicle that checks all the boxes and I would highly recommend!
The Stinger logo on the rear really makes it look 10x better than the last gen with just the kia logo. KInd of surprised to hear that the handling isn't nothing to write home about--figured the size would make up for the sub-par chassis. As always, thanks for the review upload frequency, gives me something to look forward to given I'm home all day hahah
I agree my friend love the Stinger logo in the back as well. Yea this is a budget chassis and suspension with over sticky tires but tires can only help so much. Glad you like the uploads!
Another great video! I bought a 2018 Stinger earlier this year and absolutely love it. I get that there are better cars out there but for me, it’s great! One of the reasons I bought it was because of the video you did comparing the 2.0l and 3.3l variants.

Absolutely beautiful lines. Anytime I see this vehicle on the road, I can't help but stare. That and the Genesis G80 and G90. Reliability is everything to me as you want to emotionally invest in a car that takes care of you through the years. Just bought a new 2021 gt1 a couple of weeks ago and I love it! Traded in a 2015 STI, which I will miss, but the Stinger is a better car in pretty much every area that matters to me. Have a wife and baby now, so it's the perfect car for me.

One of your best reviews my friend. Very detailed and clearly spoken from a deep well of experience. This is a great family sports sedan for the middle class dad who doesnt want a sports cross over, as that is what the market is making these days. There isnt a lot of options out there, the Charger is old as hell and the Germans are pricey and have questionable reliability/high cost of maintenance. I'd hold out for a performance (similar to Hyundai N) version as I'm a handling nut, or the AWD system with the rear LSD and central controlled differential - that's the best of both worlds, you can slide it around like RWD when you want and have AWD rest of the time. Does it handle better than the Audi S4? I look at that as its real competitor.

Awd only matters if the rwd version can't put it's power down. In the case of the Stinger it puts all of it's power down in RWD format. AWD will only add drivetrain loss and end up being slower since there's no grip advantage for straight line performance. Just get AWD for all weather reasons if you live up north
this car is a GT and its what you have to setup for ... I like what kia/hyndai are doing lately with their top of the line /performance cars and those warranty programs are amazing

I still love the Stinger, and am looking forward to seeing the reviews on the new 2.5T, especially after seeing the test numbers of the Kia K5 GT and Sonata N-Line. Kevin, have you ever driven the Genesis G70 with the V6? I would love to know what you think of the G70's handling in comparison to the Stinger GT. Most auto journalists say it is a better handler than the Stinger. Demuro also sold it to buy the new Land Rover Defender. Hope he has better luck with his than the FLT has had with theirs.

For the 2020 model year they made 800 Federation orange limited edition models, they are basically a Stinger GT2 awd in Orange with a few additional refinements.
If you care about resale value then get the GS. There is no comparison. If you do not care about brand cache and just want performance then get the Stinger
Stunning love it yea white was one of the main colors I was contemplating, saw one on the road it was great. We have a similar spec I also have every option except performance pack and I got the glass roof instead of carbon. Enjoy my friend!
I went with the GT1 AWD and the handling is superior to the RWD version unless you want to hang the rear end out all the time. I whipped up some hairpin turns pulled .05 G's and the AWD kept the car planted through the turns. I paid about 44k for the car and it's way worth it.
The 2022 facelift will be a much better experience. The thing holding the Stinger back is its tech. I think that largely gets addressed in the model we're seeing in Korea and expecting to see make it here soon... Also looks even MORE exotic with the new head and tail light designs.
@@MeynMotorGroup ye plus it's supposedly getting a variable exhaust for when you go into sport mode... So I hope they're able to give it at least SOME personality that we're seeing in the new N products from Hyundai. Being a V6... Should be deeper and more mature, but still should sound like _something_... The current exhaust is too milktoast
we picked up a 2020 indigo edition this summer after extensive research and looking at other vehicles. It really came down to a cpo 435i gran coupe, stinger, and cpo s5 sportback, and g11 740i. We own two e39 5 series tourings and were just going to go 435gc but the newer bmw's just felt cheaper and plasticky than even the old e39s , s5 interior is pretty much perfect, but the stinger won out. The D-AWD in the indigo is awesome thanks to the mechanical lsd on top of awd and the ability to go rwd for fun. Ours came with crappy primacy a/s tires on it and while they don't have the grip, it actually shows that the chassis is very well balanced even without the pilot 4 tires. It is far happier and actually more balanced feeling in the twisties than our 540. That said, we love larger softer cars anyway so we weren't expecting nor wanting the harshest riding vehicle we wanted a grand touring vehicle which is exactly what the stinger is. I do think a lot of people go into it thinking it's a supra competitor or something... it is not that!!
Man I am absolutely surprised you found the Stinger handling to be superior to your beamers or the ones you tested But massive congrats I know the color you're referring to it is gorgeous. Comfort and practicality are really high for such a good looking car. Enjoy!
@@MeynMotorGroup we were definitely surprised as well. The e39s obviously have far more road "feel" but the stinger is actually easier to push and balance at the limits . I attribute it to the stingers less prone to understeerness and the lsd. But yes .. the color was the final nail in us choosing it over the newer bmw
Ah yes I know what you mean, limits of the Stinger on the street is far easier to achieve and get sideways without any consequences or real risk. Hope you have many fun miles in it!
Just ordered my GT 3.3 in Australia we get the full GT option sunroof heating and cooling front seats new bi-model exhaust , not many Stinger here on the roads price is $67,000 on road. We don't get the 2.5L only the 2.0L. Also the try to keep it under luxury car tax price. Have to wait for 3 months before it gets here :(
I feel sorry for you having to wait that long. I had to wait 10 days and it seemed like an eternity. I was lucky that dealers here in Sydney had a few in stock and I got mine quickly. One thing for sure, you are going to love it. Best car I have ever owned and I have had a quite a lot of great cars including a Merc, WRX, MX5 and others. Not much else around that offers such great performance, handling, standard equipment, brilliant driving performance and warranty for the price. Get used to people approaching you to find out more about it when you park somewhere. They get shocked when they find out it is a Kia. This thing is insanely fast and our police force do keep an eye out for them on the road. Travelling from Sydney to Melbourne was a dream. Comfortable, no effort when cruising and insane power when overtaking. I love mine as I am certain you will when you get yours. Enjoy

Yes but G70 does handle better due to a superior sedan chassis whereas the Stinger has the hatchback rear which is not as rigid. But stinger is of course far more practical because of the hatch
Stinger i just traded it in but if you're leasing you can also consider putting it up on swapalease. If you already have a GT I don't think it's worth the hassle to get a GT2 tho

I drove one. It handles decent for its size and like you said a lot of body roll. The interior parts quality isn't the best too which was what killed it for me. I really wanted to like it but couldn't. It's the small things like the cheap quick aging leather, cheap feeling visors and just all the switches and what not When people said this was a great handling car I thought it'd be a buttoned down sports car
I thought it would be a buttoned down sports sedan as well but its mainly a quick cruiser and that's ok just gotta know that beforehand. Yea interior quality is not luxury car levels at all they disguise plastic in different colors and help give the perception of quality. I can almost live with that just wish it handled a bit better, I heard an aftermarket sway bar helps. But from the factory the car is half baked unfortunately

Oh yea that was a lease, I would only lease a German car. BMW is a good car to lease because you can easily throw it up on swapalease after awhile. Good car, A5/S5 is another great choice
You are correct. It is about 53K USD on road for the 3.3 GT. Still, not much gets close to it based on price, standard equipment, performance, warranty etc. Top of the range Genesis G70 is almost identical in specs but costs an additional 10K-15K AUD more and less warranty. Another brilliant vehicle. I love my Stinger GT and still can't believe I own one.

Sr. Great review. However, the Gt2 is way better than the Gt an Gt1. I had the Gt1 before and the dampers on the GT2 are unique taking road imperfections. Head up display, larger displays made the difference. Bets car I ever had.
its not even the actual 2021 stinger.No ten inch info screen, no body or tail light update, no 2021 wheels. Its just a carry over of 2020 model. you could have got the same car in a 2020 model, even gt2 for cheaper price.
You hit all the major points. The Stinger can be that one car that does it all. I still like my Ceramic Silver with red interior. The Kia or E badge does protect you from the douche bag image. It's my daily driver that I also like driving on the weekend.. lol I would get another Stinger if Kia does a Gen II, but if not a CTS-V, GSF, or M550i would likely be the replacement. This thing would make a bad @$$ coupe but... they don't meet Kia's sales numbers
Facts my friend, yea I actually thoroughly enjoyed my drive in this 2021 Stinger GT. I enjoyed this drive more than the initial first drive I had in the 2018. It makes a lot of sense as a practical daily, a coupe would look sinister!
450h is actually fast as hell but wrings out in a more naturally aspirated fashion whereas Stinger just blasts off the line with all that boosted power. GS is a higher quality machine to driver overall

As you grow mature in the market you will find other words such as the reason why you let go of the Stinger. But at the end of the day it's his channel do and say is his privilege. I like watching your reviews! You are great 😺. With all due respect, the Stinger can have a decently cool look and shape, and they can remove the badge and copy the Maserati font on the back (Which make it come off that the person driving it is trying to be something they aren’t, and one of the main reasons I would never want one beside the type of quality you get with a Kia) but at the end of the day no matter how nice it is - IT’S STILL A KIA. You get what you pay for!

Looking into buying a gt2 soon Iv been wanting a stinger since 2018. Now I’m divorced I can afford one.
I am going on almost a year for my 2020--been to the track and not one hiccup.I sprung for AWD and it is awsome at the track and in bad weather--I came from a honda and the quality seems to be on par with Honda which is fine for me--performance was first and reliability 2nd--was going to get a Civiv type R till I drove the stinger and it is a much better car and faster car in all aspects.Also the car is very fast in comfort mode--i just leave it in that mode and get 22 + MPG in the city right now--although my city driving is in rural areas with very little stop and go--car is fantastic for the price.

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking the Stinger is a sports car, it's not it's a Grand Tourer, they forget what GT stands for, it's meant to be practical and comfortable for long distance travel, whilst being dynamic/sportyish.
That's true my friend, GT somehow got confused with sport. Its a great tourer and fast as hell with a ton of practicality. It makes sense in the right trim and price with the V6

Great review and quality video once again. The Stinger looks really good and I'm suprised so many people including you were bored of it, I didn't really see it as a driver focused car just a really nice and affordable one. I feel like the Stinger is gonna be a bit of an improtant car. I wouldn't say classic but with the way Genesis and Kia are building such great cars now it makes it an important turning point in the car world in my opinion.

I bought the micro blue 2021 stinger in October and it’s my first car purchase . I upgraded from a 2009 Nissan!! I’m in love with it ! I always get compliments on the color even when I go through drive thru lol. A lot of people are surprised it’s a Kia.

Good review. It is a super car and easily the best car I have owned here in Australia and I have had some great cars in the past. Unbeatable value for money when performance, driving experience, handling, standard equipment and warranty are taken into consideration.
The GT is the top of the line here in Oz and everything comes as standard without having to option anything.
It is fantastic on a highway and great driving around the suburbs.
Kia claim 4.7 seconds from 0-60 mph however there are video clips where people have done 4.2 in a stock standard GT. From my experience, I tend to believe it is closer to 4.2 than 4.7. It is insanely fast when you want it to be.

Great review. Great intro. I own a 2020:Stinger GT AWD Limited, which is all we can get here other than the 2.0 version.
My previous car was a 2014 Optima SX Turbo. The difference between those two cars is significant but what I truly realize is what Kia is doing. They're not attempting to compete with the German rivals, they're creating vehicles that no matter the price, inspire confidence, comfort, performance and reliability. My Stinger has lowering springs and front/rear sway bars installed. The steering is the best I've felt in any car I've driven be it my mom's BMW 330 to my dad's Merc 550 SL. Kia has an agenda here and it's to produce something that inspires, performs and continually puts smiles on those who drive it. And they're doing it with materials within the budget constraints they've set out. And they've made it beautiful on the outside. I couldn't ask for something more perfectly balanced for my needs and budget that I can say with utmost confidence. Well done KIA!

I also had this car. I bought it with 7k miles on it but i overpaid and couldn't live with that. I put 7k miles on it and traded for a 2021 BMW m340i. I got the BMW for about the same as when i overpaid for the Stinger and I feel that it's just a better car, for me. Better tech, handling and most importantly, gas mileage. The Stinger had a better Harmon Karden though.

The only one that took a while to come around, was my direct neighbor that owns an M3, which I expected. His son, who owns a 2019 or 2020 328i, actually came by a couple days later & ended up telling him what a Stinger was & all of a suddenly the next day, he wanted to know all about it! I got a Can-am Ryker two months before, but I think everyone was more impressed with the Stinger. I also have a 1st gen 300 SRT, that I haven't had long either, but everyone wants to know about the Stinger.

I've had my 2019 Stinger GT1 RWD for one year and couldn't be more pleased. It has met/exceeded my expectations and what more can you ask of a car? It's a great vehicle that checks all the boxes and I would highly recommend!

The Stinger logo on the rear really makes it look 10x better than the last gen with just the kia logo. KInd of surprised to hear that the handling isn't nothing to write home about--figured the size would make up for the sub-par chassis. I agree my friend love the Stinger logo in the back as well. Yea this is a budget chassis and suspension with over sticky tires but tires can only help so much. Glad you like the uploads!
If you put it in manual shift mode by moving the gear shift selector to the left while in drive, it shouldn't up shift automatically.

Reliability is everything to me as you want to emotionally invest in a car that takes care of you through the years. Just bought a new 2021 gt1 a couple of weeks ago and I love it! Traded in a 2015 STI, which I will miss, but the Stinger is a better car in pretty much every area that matters to me. Have a wife and baby now, so it's the perfect car for me.

One of your best reviews my friend. Very detailed and clearly spoken from a deep well of experience. This is a great family sports sedan for the middle class dad who doesnt want a sports cross over, as that is what the market is making these days. There isnt a lot of options out there, the Charger is old as hell and the Germans are pricey and have questionable reliability/high cost of maintenance. I'd hold out for a performance (similar to Hyundai N) version as I'm a handling nut, or the AWD system with the rear LSD and central controlled differential - that's the best of both worlds, you can slide it around like RWD when you want and have AWD rest of the time.
Does it handle better than the Audi S4? I look at that as its real competitor.

Awd only matters if the rwd version can't put it's power down. In the case of the Stinger it puts all of it's power down in RWD format. AWD will only add drivetrain loss and end up being slower since there's no grip advantage for straight line performance. Just get AWD for all weather reasons if you live up north

I personally never modify cars but I did hear a swaybar makes a difference. If you're into modding cars, stinger could be a good platform

Kevin, have you ever driven the Genesis G70 with the V6? I would love to know what you think of the G70's handling in comparison to the Stinger GT. Most auto journalists say it is a better handler than the Stinger.
Demuro also sold it to buy the new Land Rover Defender. Hope he has better luck with his than the FLT has had with theirs.

For the 2020 model year they made 800 Federation orange limited edition models, they are basically a Stinger GT2 awd in Orange with a few additional refinements.

I went with the GT1 AWD and the handling is superior to the RWD version unless you want to hang the rear end out all the time. I whipped up some hairpin turns pulled .05 G's and the AWD kept the car planted through the turns. I paid about 44k for the car and it's way worth it.
The 2022 facelift will be a much better experience. The thing holding the Stinger back is its tech. I think that largely gets addressed in the model we're seeing in Korea and expecting to see make it here soon... Also looks even MORE exotic with the new head and tail light designs.

So I hope they're able to give it at least SOME personality that we're seeing in the new N products from Hyundai. Being a V6... we picked up a 2020 indigo edition this summer after extensive research and looking at other vehicles. It really came down to a cpo 435i gran coupe, stinger, and cpo s5 sportback, and g11 740i. We own two e39 5 series tourings and were just going to go 435gc but the newer bmw's just felt cheaper and plasticky than even the old e39s , s5 interior is pretty much perfect, but the stinger won out. The D-AWD in the indigo is awesome thanks to the mechanical lsd on top of awd and the ability to go rwd for fun. Ours came with crappy primacy a/s tires on it and while they don't have the grip, it actually shows that the chassis is very well balanced even without the pilot 4 tires. It is far happier and actually more balanced feeling in the twisties than our 540.
That said, we love larger softer cars anyway so we weren't expecting nor wanting the harshest riding vehicle we wanted a grand touring vehicle which is exactly what the stinger is. I do think a lot of people go into it thinking it's a supra competitor or something... it is not that!!

I attribute it to the stingers less prone to understeerness and the lsd. But yes .. the color was the final nail in us choosing it over the newer bmw

Just ordered my GT 3.3 in Australia we get the full GT option sunroof heating and cooling front seats new bi-model exhaust , not many Stinger here on the roads price is $67,000 on road. We don't get the 2.5L only the 2.0L. Also the try to keep it under luxury car tax price. Have to wait for 3 months before it gets here :(

I feel sorry for you having to wait that long. I had to wait 10 days and it seemed like an eternity. I was lucky that dealers here in Sydney had a few in stock and I got mine quickly. One thing for sure, you are going to love it. Best car I have ever owned and I have had a quite a lot of great cars including a Merc, WRX, MX5 and others.
Not much else around that offers such great performance, handling, standard equipment, brilliant driving performance and warranty for the price.
Get used to people approaching you to find out more about it when you park somewhere. They get shocked when they find out it is a Kia.
This thing is insanely fast and our police force do keep an eye out for them on the road.
Travelling from Sydney to Melbourne was a dream. Comfortable, no effort when cruising and insane power when overtaking.

Yes but G70 does handle better due to a superior sedan chassis whereas the Stinger has the hatchback rear which is not as rigid. But stinger is of course far more practical because of the hatch

Stinger i just traded it in but if you're leasing you can also consider putting it up on swapalease. If you already have a GT I don't think it's worth the hassle to get a GT2 tho

I drove one. It handles decent for its size and like you said a lot of body roll. The interior parts quality isn't the best too which was what killed it for me. I really wanted to like it but couldn't. It's the small things like the cheap quick aging leather, cheap feeling visors and just all the switches and what not

I thought it would be a buttoned down sports sedan as well but its mainly a quick cruiser and that's ok just gotta know that beforehand. Yea interior quality is not luxury car levels at all they disguise plastic in different colors and help give the perception of quality. I can almost live with that just wish it handled a bit better, I heard an aftermarket sway bar helps. But from the factory the car is half baked unfortunately

Oh yea that was a lease, I would only lease a German car. BMW is a good car to lease because you can easily throw it up on swapalease after awhile. Good car, A5/S5 is another great choice

You are correct. It is about 53K USD on road for the 3.3 GT.
Still, not much gets close to it based on price, standard equipment, performance, warranty etc. Top of the range Genesis G70 is almost identical in specs but costs an additional 10K-15K AUD more and less warranty. Another brilliant vehicle.

Sr. Great review. However, the Gt2 is way better than the Gt an Gt1. I had the Gt1 before and the dampers on the GT2 are unique taking road imperfections. Head up display, larger displays made the difference. Bets car I ever had.

No the GT2 comes with real nappa leather only
its not even the actual 2021 stinger.No ten inch info screen, no body or tail light update, no 2021 wheels. Its just a carry over of 2020 model. you could have got the same car in a 2020 model, even gt2 for cheaper price.
You hit all the major points. The Stinger can be that one car that does it all. I still like my Ceramic Silver with red interior. The Kia or E badge does protect you from the douche bag image. It's my daily driver that I also like driving on the weekend.. lol
I would get another Stinger if Kia does a Gen II, but if not a CTS-V, GSF, or M550i would likely be the replacement. This thing would make a bad @$$ coupe but... they don't meet Kia's sales numbers
Facts my friend, yea I actually thoroughly enjoyed my drive in this 2021 Stinger GT. I enjoyed this drive more than the initial first drive I had in the 2018. It makes a lot of sense as a practical daily, a coupe would look sinister!
Anyone else noticed that this car's interior starts rattling and creaking after 1 year? I heard that a lot.
Yes many have said the interior doesn't hold up past a year that's unfortunate

How does 2018 Stinger compare to Lexus GS 450h?
I guess Stinger is quicker and more practical and GS has better ride
450h is actually fast as hell but wrings out in a more naturally aspirated fashion whereas Stinger just blasts off the line with all that boosted power. GS is a higher quality machine to driver overall

Yea it's hard for Kia to make a case for these more expensive models and convince people to part ways with $30k+ no matter how fast it is
@@MeynMotorGroup yea Kevin it´s not easy, the Stinger here in Germany cost´s ( 60000 € ) 72000 $ and that´s a lot of money for a Kia.

Great car but it isn’t the 2021 model year. The taillights are different and they also connect and it’s also different in the interior

Kevin saying " none of their business " as a car journalist after selling his old stinger and bombarded with negative comment, is a bit harsh. As you grow mature in the market you will find other words such as the reason why you let go of the Stinger. But at the end of the day it's his channel do and say is his privilege. Constructive criticism will either let someone grow or stayed on their comfort zones. I took several references from his reviews as how young people feel about several car dynamics. More power to you Kevin.
Yea Kia guys got very upset when I sold it still glad I owned it tho. Really helped me understand true dynamics moving forward so definitely not a waste for me owning it.

Its a new car so hard to tell. Not having a sunroof helps but I think thr plastics over time will begin to rattle
I like watching your reviews! You are great 😺. With all due respect, the Stinger can have a decently cool look and shape, and they can remove the badge and copy the Maserati font on the back (Which make it come off that the person driving it is trying to be something they aren’t, and one of the main reasons I would never want one beside the type of quality you get with a Kia) but at the end of the day no matter how nice it is - IT’S STILL A KIA. You get what you pay for!

yikes.. People used to say the same bout Hyundai's and now (most) people have wised up. Sounds like you haven't quite gotten there, anyone who been paying attention knows that the "its a Kia" statement is about 5-6 years old now and doesn't really hold any weight.

Not a great handling car ? You say that after owning one ? It is a very very good handling car ! better than many bmw's !!! maybe not better than $100K+ M models... but better than most all other bmw's even when they have sport susp. upgrade... can make over 1g !!
2021 handles noticeably better than the 2018 but chassis is still no where near Euro levels or even their amazing G80 models

Absolutely my friend although everyone is grinding regardless of skin 😆 but that is precisely why I respect the Stinger even if its not the best choice, it has a lot to offer for the everyday person like us
