I’ve learned to stick to my regular pours and splurge on new bottles that I want to try from time to time instead of giving into FOMO and chasing every single bottle. Cheers buddy! 🥃🥔🥃
This is a great way to look at it. I am definitely still taking the plunge on unknowns but that is because I have to, so you guys can see what the new stuff is like, but I am taking price into account more than years past. I can't justify buying a $300 bottle that will make me $7 to review lol. Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I suspect we're seeing a general slow down in hoarding, you can only put so much in storage each year before you're stocked for life. I am for example seeing tons of KC12 on shelves which a year ago was unfindable until the holidays and then went fast. So the higher volume stuff might stabilize stock and the ultra spendy stuff might start collecting dust but until I see ER10 sitting on shelves the bubble is just deflating, not burst.
It is not uncommon to see ER10 sitting here pretty often.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I feel it’s on the verge of balancing out. I’m definitely more selective with not only my bottles but who I buy them from.
I 100% agree. There are certain things I am passing on, that I would have bought if this were last year or the year before.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Well said
I definitely think it's cooling off. I don't expect a sudden "pop", but a lot of us are adjusting our buying habits in different ways. For me, just seeing some items that I track on secondary getting lower has relieved my sense of urgency. Not only is a new great new bottle always just around the corner, but the one you pass on today may cost less tomorrow.
I agree. It wont go off with a bang, likely just a slow down as we all realize... he maybe I dont NEED that extra expensive bottle I already have 2 of. Lol.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Went to allocated bourbon drop. Over 400 people for 150 bottles. Everything was msrp. Still a lot of people chasing.
@user-kz8zz4wy4w definitely agree. The demand for the hyper rare stuff is definitely there, but the middle tier allocations, craft whiskeys and shelf bottles are definitely taking a hit right now.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I’ve slowed way, way down. I got tired of hearing how good a whiskey is, and then I’m not able to buy it. It’s allocated or I’m not able to buy it or I can’t get it shipped to my state or its way, way expensive. I have found a few really good whiskeys I like at an affordable price and am not going to venture out looking for new whiskey. Im spending whiskey money on other things. Also I’ve also been burned by spending a lot of money on a bottle and finding out it’s only mediocre
I definitely try to review a lot of shelf/craft stuff for this reason. I know the allocated stuff gets the clicks though, so I try and find a nice ballance of that.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I totally understand distilleries wanting to increase price when their bottles fly off shelves at cheaper prices. But it does unfortunately price some people out of buying.
New riff is doing some awesome things and I feel pretty good about their price points.
@@J240RB25 absolute legends at pricing fairly. Lots of the small distilleries are doing the pricing the right way.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I’ve slowed down on buying. I have close to 300 bottles so I’d say that’s a good reason to but the market has changed since I first started drinking whiskey/bourbon. Now every distillery wants to source whiskey and charge an arm and a leg for some average bottle that influencers said is the next big thing creating fomo. KC store picks and RR picks used to be a bargain but now they’ve pulled all the high aged stuff to bottle in special releases that are 3x the price of what it used to be. Enough is enough. I no longer have fomo and I hope other enthusiasts do the same. It’s the only way we see bourbon priced reasonably again for people who actually want to crack the bottle and enjoy what’s inside.
This is a great way to look at it. There a TON of guys like us that have 150+ bottles, who really dont need more!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I've seen very little reason lately to spend more than $70-80 on any bottle of Bourbon. Saw 2 Little Books recently and one of my local Honey Holes had posted on FB they had them as well. One of the bigger local liquor stores had CASES of Buffalo Trace on the floor with a sign that there was no limit on what customers could get. First time I've seen that. Only thing I'm hunting for now is a bottle of Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit that I've heard rumored coming out of the Camp Nelson campus. In my area I only keep finding bottles from the Tyrone campus.
I have definitely gotten some comments from people that have found some CN-A kentucky spirits. They seem to really like them.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
My usual liquor store is getting Buffalo Trace in more frequently, still have a limit of one per customer, but lately they've had some out more than half the times I've stop by.
@@toymachine2328 it is at every single grocery store in Arizona, no limit.
Great Bottle haul! I’ll be carrying the Bardstown as of today! I’ll get you samples of the Amarut. I asked for samples of the goose island collab and series 10. Keep you posted buddy. Btw, Little Book is so good!!!
I think i will pop the little book tonight! That is cool about the Bardstown!
Cheers buddy thanks for everything 🥃
I'm done with paying double or triple MSRP for things I really "want", no more Old Carter, EH Taylor 4 grains, Wild Turkey Master Keep $500 bottles, 13th Colony double oak ; I'll stick with BiB, and local crafters kicking out $50-$100 bottles.
@patgleason2993 i am really almost there. I am still interested in a few high cost limited run, but I think my limit is $200 now.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I have so many bottles that I’ve purchased over the last few years that I’ve slowed WAY down. Unlike a lot of these “collectors” (really just flippers), I actually open and drink all my whiskey. So now I’ve got 175 open bottles, some of which I absolutely LOVE and many that either weren’t for me or are objectively not good. At this point, I know what I like and am a little less likely to roll the dice on anything unless I have a high degree of confidence I’ll like it. My big thing now is working through all the open bottles that I’ll never rebuy and sharing with friends and putting them in blinds to confirm my preferences. It seems to keep that 75-100 open bottles is kind of the max that a guy who doesn’t drink every day (PSA - we shouldn’t drink every day) could reasonably enjoy and get through in a couple of years at a time. Right? Even if you drink a bottle a week, 100 bottles is 2-years worth! So yeah, I’ve slowed down a lot and become much more selective. Blinds have been incredibly helpful in figuring out what I actually like vs what I think I like.
I definitely agree. Especially about drinking daily. Not a good recipe. And about blinds. I love blinds.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I hope it is, or at least evening out. Year over year whisky consumption in Canada is down almost 40% so ... at some point prices will go down.
I think evening out is the best case scenario. I dont want to see any awesome distilleries close their doors.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I’ve slowed down, I’m out of room in the display cabinet! I’m learning what I really enjoy, and what things stand out to me. Still trying to get in that top tier of total wine rewards, so I can at least have a shot at some of these allocations that I never ever see. Might even give up on that though, I’ve discovered enough good juice along the way (due in part to channels like this one!) that I’m less inclined to pursue those hard to find bottles.
Thank you for this. I appreciate it. And I hope total wine gets some good stuff so you can land Grand Reserve.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
No idea if the bubble is bursting, but I’m leaving a comment cuz your content is awesome and I want to see your channel explode!
Thank you so much for this buddy!
Cheers and thanks for watching 🥃
I have so much whiskey to drink. That’s what really slowed me down
I agree. And several new releases I have several of the series open already.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
It's bursting!!!
I think it is, at least somewhat.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I'm definitely showing down on my purchases, due to finances and I've got more than I can drink in 5 years, by myself. Got the Silver Grove rye and bourbon, Green River full proof, 2 Four Roses, 24-2 Booker's, little book 8. Just in the last 40 days.
Nice haul! What do you think of the LB8? I just opened mine last night!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I’m hearing good things about that little book. Congrats on getting one
A small spoiler as I am currently drinking it.... its fabulous.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I tried it at the distillery a couple weeks ago and it is really nice
I splurged on a bottle of the Lineage
I’ve passed on great bottles and focus barrel picks
Barrel picks are still my favorite category to dive into for sure.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
It seems that availability of certain "hard to find" bottles is improving, however the markups still are pretty unrealistic in my area. Certain shops have begun to lower prices - even though they are still marked up, they are at prices that I would entertain purchasing certain bottles at. But the majority of stores are still priced at a point where the bottles just sit. This also goes for the standard shelf stable bottles. I have slowed down on my buying - keeping my favorite sippers on my shelf, but not really acquiring anything new. Sitting back and watching the market for a bit.
The markups might get worse if the bubble does break a bit. Because they will need to recoup some loss for what isnt selling.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Bubble is at least contracting. The secondary market is what will determine when the bubble bursts IMO. However distilleries will soon be facing a glut of standard shelf products not moving I feel. So will they adjust and hold back bottling to keep prices up or will the 3 tier system have to adjust their margins. BTAC demand isnt going away any time soon but Eagle Rare is getting more common so the fear of never finding another bottle aling with having 5 at home should curtail bunker buying.
You nailed it. The demand for the hyper rare stuff isnt going anywhere, but i agree that shelf bottles are going to start sitting far more.
Cheers buddy thanks for everything 🥃
Does it have to be less than 51% rye and 51% corn to be a bourye?
Anything where you blend a bourbon and a rye would be a Bourye from my understanding. But if there is a specificity, then most things would just be "a blend of straights"
Cheers buddy thanks for everything 🥃
I'm not spending $300 for a 10yr Rye...
Yep. And here is is $320-370 everywhere including the stores that usually sell at msrp.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
In my area, allocated were near impossible to find on the shelf, except at the museum stores with very high secondary prices.
Now, I see allocated on the shelfs at many stores, and at resonable but still above msrp.
See plenty of Buffalo Trace products now,
when they were rare for the past couple of years.
That is a good sign. Hopefully it continues.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
A store I go to had eagle rare “on sale” for $49.99. It was there for a few days. They also had the same 4 bottles of little book $180. They are gonna price themselves out of business.
I agree. The prices have gone up quite a bit and that is holding a lot of us back.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Definitely slowing down. I love ECBP, Larceny BP, and Bookers, but I own plenty of these bottles, so I have not purchased any of the 2024 editions of them. I have noticed more of these and other previously hard to find bottles lingering on store shelves at retail price. Cheers
Definitely agree there. I assually buy one ECBP and one Booker's per year for this reason. But you are right. They are starting to sit more.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Starting to balance or correct. I'm seeing more and more bottles that you normally can't find at all... the prices are high but at least you're seeing them now... this is giving the folks that normally don't hunt as hard a chance so the prices will stay up until those folks get their chance then the prices should eventually start to fall after that...
I hope it more normalizes than bursts. We shall see how big it ends up being.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
It interesting time we are living in for sure. I just don’t want the craft producers to suffer
I 100% agree. I am a HUGE fan of what a lot of these smaller distilleries are doing and seeing them suffer would SUCK.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Definitely cutting back. Spent less than half of what I did last year. You know you’re cutting back when you say no to Blanton’s Taylor small batch etc. lol. Lucky I’ve made good connections and I’m still able to get the hard to get bottles like Michter’s 10, Weller FP etc. cheers to another great video.
For sure. Connections are huge. And form real bonds that last.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Really like that Green River Full Proof. Just picked up the new Knob Creek Bourye and cracked it open last night. Big fan. Vanilla, caramel, peanut butter and then a peppery finish that is smooth for 113 proof. 🥃
I will buy it as soon as I can get it. You recommendation is more than enough.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I think about 10 year ago, a new release would come out that everyone would want and it was delicious. Nowadays, new releases (finished in some random crap) are a dime a dozen, cost $80+, and aren’t that good unless it’s BTAC, KOK, Van Winkle, etc. generally speaking.
I agree. Many of the special edition things arent that special. But learning which ones are is part of the process. Now I know what to chase and what to skip for sure.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I’m shocked you resisted popping the LB8 right away!! I’ve been buying significantly less this year - still trading, but overall down a LOT and a lot more choosey on what I DO buy. My bourbon bubble is definitely shrinking if nothing else 😅
I took a bit over a week sober due to that gut issue I was having.
I will be opening it tonight. I cant wait!
Cheers buddy! Thanks for watching 🥃
LE Bourbon is almost impossible for me to find along with most of BT. So none of that affects me. Lol
It might be slightly more available soon if this continues. There are a lot of people only in this hobby to flip. Once it isnt worth it for them to flip, they won't and more bottles should be available. But who knows!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I think the industry is slowing down but not bursting as of yet. The reckoning will happen in 5-7 years when all the big boys have their newest expansion stocks ready to hit the market!
That is probably true. If Buffalo Trace can double production at their low msrps.... that could be bad news for some of the little guys, and even some of the big guys with high prices.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
For me I always keep about 25-30 bottles on shelf personally I am glad maybe bubble is bursting I just went into a store here in Denver Colorado that had Bookers on the shelf I have never seen that in like 5 to 10 years
Yeah that one seems area dependent. The last two days I hit up 6 stores in Pheonix and 5 of them had bookers.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I think demand is good but not crazy anymore so the market is adjusting, hopefully with more store picks and less super rare releases. So excited about Bardstown and possibly New Riff!
Me too. I really want to be able to buy those without traveling and taking them back on a plane lol.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Looking forward to your Little Book review. Just picked one up at my local Costco.
I am going to film tonight
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
If the cost of a bottle keeps going up but a company says the msrp is so and so I don’t blame a store or company for raising the price to get a realistic mark up.
That is true. It is totally understandable.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I’m thinking it will finally reach a point where more bourbon will be sitting on shelves and prices will have to be adjusted. 🤞 My June haul is Four Gate Kelvin Sixty, Eagle Rare, Ben Holladay One Barrel, Elijah Craig Barrel Proof B524, Peerless Double Oak Bourbon, and Penelope Toasted.
That is a great haul!!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I'm trying to slow down. And idk about a bubble burst but the market does seem to be cooling a bit. I went to one of my main stores the other day and they had ECBP, Jack Daniels SBBP rye, bookers (which I might go back and get), blantons, eagle rare, and buffalo trace sitting on the shelf, and in pretty decent quantities. Didn't see that this time last year.
I think we should slowly start seeing that more of those. Likely will never see some of the rare stuff as shelfers. But Eagle Rare and Blantons, a few others, are totally possible.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
It's not just bourbon and whiskey, it's all "assets" that are going down. Basically any extra spending is going down and will continue to do so.
I think you're 100% right. Sad.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
That Little Book is delicious, enjoy. I will be hunting the Russell's 15 because I have never landed a 13 but I not holding out much hope. Cheers 🥃
There is so much of this, if you want it, and are willing to pay, I think you will find it!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Interesting question. I think the secondary market butst is happening already, which I believe is a good thing! The reason I say this is because I have been able to find unexpected bottles at MSRP ( for example, I picked up Blantons and an Elmer T Lee at the same store at a comboned price of $100). Makes mo wonder if the hoarders are being stuck with bottles???
Definitely have heard stories of stores getting stuck with store picks. Which just shows, if you like a spot and want to help them out, take a chance on their picks. We shall see how it goes!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
The bubble is bursting on new releases that are demanding crazy MSRP prices. However, the bubble is not bursting with people that are buying normal allocated at MSRP and flipping. We are just now starting to see Weller SR sit on the shelf for one day after drop here in Ohio, but that is about it. ER, EHT, BT, ECBP, OWA, Bookers, it all goes to the line that has been there for however many hours. And with that, 70% of that is flipped immediately in FB groups. People will pay double because it's cheaper than triple online and they have no other choice unless they want to battle weekday lines every day and miss work.
That is a good perspective as I know things can be different state by state.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I'm not sure about a burst but I've noticed bottles sitting on the shelf longer and some prices are coming down on some. These high priced bottles are not what I'm going to buy. 150 is a cap for me and I just passed on a old overholt 10 at 99 I know I its good buy I'm on a fixed income so I have to pick and choose wisely. Will I get it one day. The older I get the simpler my selection becomes. Just got the Bardstown origin bib wheater get bottle and worth backing up. And its all their own juice. Again you need to get some River Roots out of Cleveland seriously good picks. The chef Michael Symon gas picked a few bottles and they are fantastic. Enjoy!!
I 100% agree. Especially on having a price cap. That might be $100 for some or $200 for others, depending on their income. And also on the Bardstown orgin wheated. That is a great bottle for the price.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
My own personal bourbon bubble broke about 6 months ago. Pledged to not buy any $100+ bottles, just been underwhelmed too many times on these over priced bottles. And there are sooo many sub $100 bottles I have not tried, so decided I needed to run through a lot of the lower priced offerings.
This is a good call. Know what you are willing to pay and you should never get duped.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I'm not sure if it is a bubble burst or just the nasty inflation we've had (or maybe that's causing the bubble burst?). Having to spend more for groceries and other nonsense has slowed down my bourbon buying (well that and I don't drink fast enough to keep buying 3-4 bottles a month). That could be causing a lot of bourbon fans from buying as much as they did just a year or two ago. I did recently score one of the Green River Wheated bourbons as well as a New Riff Single Barrel and a Casey Jones "Barrel Cut" two weeks ago when I was on the boarder of Tennessee and Kentucky (for about 5 minutes).
That is awesome! You will have to let me know what you think of all 3.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I got a green river wheated, not getting another, got the Bernheim wheated and it was way better than green river
I have both. Maybe I can compare them.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I have bought 10 bottles total, 12 if you count gifts- then again, I've only been in the culture for 18 months
That makes since. You definitely biy more bottles those first two years. Get anything awesome?
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
@@yourdrinkingbuddy so far I like them all. Favorite still goes to a wilderness trail BP rye, but JD SBBP rye is now in the discussion. Got two larceny BP, and found my brother a Blanton's for 5% over MSRP. good year for a beginner
In Colorado secondary prices are down for sure, but the interest in drops still seems high. People are still waiting 12-14 hours in line with no guarantee of anything great or even really knowing what is dropping. I had my biggest month ever and mostly at retail. 2 - ETL, 3 - Stagg, 1 - OFSB black label, Weller 12. I did go down some rabbits holes and made some trades or paid a little extra but under secondary for 23’ JD twice barreled rye, Hardins Creek Jacob’s Well 184, acquired 2 Lucky Seven the Proprietor 14 year for under secondary. I am now trying to move some to cover my costs. Overall year over year my goal is to only spend 50% of what I spent last year.
Dang buddy!!!
That is one heck of a haul!!!
Cheers and thanks for watching 🥃
Little book 8 was amazing. Comparable to JD sibbp rye.
@@jonathansantana6239 i will pop it tonight. I am really excited. 2 more hours of work! Lol.
Cheers buddy thanks for everything 🥃
I would say the secondary market may be slowing down (thank goodness) and production is ramping up (probably correlated to some extent). Outside of those factors, I don't necessarily see a bubble bursting among the enthusiastic consumers. Overall, whiskey consumption is down though.
I do think the price increases are causing everyone to buy less total bottles, but I'm not sure about actually cutting back on total spending on whiskey. It certainly growing tiresome seeing the foreign-owned brands pushing some bourbon and rye more towards the "luxury Scotch" market pricing (looking at you Campari & Diageo).
This is a great point and people forget MOST of the major distillers are all foreign owned. Which is crazy. Buffalo trace, and Brown-Forman being the two major big boys not foreign owned.
Cheers buddy thanks for everything 🥃
I'm definitely slowing down. Given how many allocated drops the VA ABC has done for the month of June 2024, I'd say production is up and demand is down.
This is a good thing for us. Maybe not for smaller distilleries as I fear the big boys will be fine.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I buy from 2 stores that treat me well. I won’t even buy ice from a store that sells secondary. I haven’t bought a new bourbon in months. Not fun and exciting anymore.
Fair. I am still loving the hobby, but this is definitely a common comment.

Lol
Accept I have so many already!!!
Definitely bursting. I'm more selective of what I buy. No more sourced 100 dollar bottles that have fancy descriptions etc. I'm staying with what I know I like... K Luke, Four Roses, Beam, Bardstown, Peerless etc. Wild Turkey is capitalizing on the demand and really it's Campari. They know what they have and they'll ride the wave until it crashes. We're seeing price drops in MD and more allocated bottles on the shelf.
My new rule is no $100 bottles if they are less than 100 proof.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I’ve slowed down considerably. I’ve tried enough products to realize it seldom make sense to spend over $100 on a bottle
I agree. It has to be pretty special for me to justify it at that price.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
IDK about the bubble bursting, but I do believe that the market is correcting. 15% increases annually was never going to be sustainable and I have definitely seen prices start to come down on the secondary market. Unicorn bottles are always going to command crazy $$$ but I believe we are going to see less $150+ releases going forward. Inflation is still high in this economy ( simply go to the grocery store ) and average people can't afford to be shelling out big dollars for whiskey month after month. Great video, love to hear others point of view...
This is a great way to put it. Maybe the growth will slow down and things will normalize. I definitely am not going anywhere! I just might buy a few less bottles than years past. Fortunately, I get enough samples from the community that I can still review most releases for you guys!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
You are 100% correct. I was in the craft beer industry when it peaked and this feels like it's going the same direction. The big guys will be fine. The little guys will do ok. It's the midsize folks who will have to make some tough decisions. Will be interesting to watch!
@@joshstenz hopefully dont see too many lose jobs. That is what i am afraid of.
@@yourdrinkingbuddy I think that is a legitimate concern. However, I'm not sure it will be as notable as it was in beer. Seems like the barrier to entry is higher in distilling than it is in brewing.

It's definitely going to burst , last summer a store owner told it was going to happen and all the allocated that were very over priced sat for months , I've definitely slowed down on my buying.
It seems inevitable. People arent going to camp out to maybe get Eagle Rare or Weller SR forever.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I have at least 5 years worth of bourbon at home, as much as I’d like, I just can’t drink it all. I’ve cut back and won’t over pay anymore. I think the industry is a victim of their own success.
I definitely agree with all of this. And you nailed the last part for sure!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Bursting... No.. Slowing down Yes... Everyone I know is being very selective and buying about 50% less than last year. Secondary is down 30 to 40% on valuations, but I never pay secondary so no matter to me. WT is definitely crazy with their prices but RR10 and WT Rare Breed have not gone up much of at all in last 2ish years so that's something I can respect for them. But mckenna 10 year BIB I saw for 74 yesterday.. Wtf are they crazy! Even at like 64 I laugh and keep on walking, I see them sitting longer now. 1924 for 130 they are crazy but it still sells out quickly. June I got LBP B524, Bardstown discovery 11 and widow jane applewood.. But passed on KC 10 RYE, 7 year rye, bourye. Jb black 7 year, bernheim BP a224 and a few others when last year I would have grabbed them probably just bc/to try but being real selective this year.
I agree. You nailed it. Slowing. Many of us have 100 bottles at this point. You can only drink so much whiskey!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
It is bursting. It’s partially the economy .. ppl don’t have extra money like they did in 2020-2023, and with interest rates high (less discretionary funds) and bourbon supply going up… pop. This is also going on in the Rolex watch, designer bags, etc. collectible markets.
I agree. I dont have the spending cash I had 2-5 years ago, depsite making more.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I know what I like and go with the SB picks. Leave the over priced, on the shelf stuff alone. They’ve gouged prices and some of those medium priced whiskies just aren’t worth the money anymore
I am with you. Single barrel picks are really the way to go for good stuff.

I agree. Definitely see a lot of bourbons go for way more than they should!
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
In my opinion, not that it’s worth much I do think the industry is slowing down. Factors such as everything else you purchased cost more, not counting the whiskey and some ridiculous prices that limited are going for contributing. When I look back and see what I spent on whiskey over the last 20 months, I could’ve purchased a decent small car, a.k.a. Toyota Corolla. Cheers 🥃😎🇺🇸
Yeah, you dont realize how much it is unless you include it as part of your budget. Which is what I had to start doing! It adds up quick.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I see that “pile of garbage” still sitting on shelves at total wine at $450.00, yes at total wine which makes me chuckle and pisses me off. The price pisses me off, I’m not buying that one anyway lol. Every bubble bursts, the vary nature of every bubble is to pop, it’s inevitable. I am purchasing less, but it is more of a lifestyle choice over $ as I keep training. I will keep watching regardless, cheers DB

I have completely stopped chasing. I have enough bottles to take down a football stadium full of professional alcoholics. Once I realized how much of the hunt has been created by the ABC from state to state as a gimmick I'm kind of over it. Certain influencers up biding the prices are making it worse. No matter. I might could go the rest of my life if I lived another 20 or more years not needing to buy another bottle....maybe 👀
I completely understand that. I know a couple people who have done the same.

maybe...just maybe is it because the economy is sucking?...I would have to say thats what it is.
Definitely part of it for sure. Also these things are cyclical. Tequila will be big, then beer, then back to bourbon. It seems to always be like that

Don’t forget that the economy has just been getting worse and that could just be the main reason
