    I was wondering where they would put the override for the actuator. Very informative!

    I think I saw the same video about this feature on the Civic sedan, and I was going to look for it on my one-week old Civic Hatch Sport this weekend. Thanks for figuring it out first!

    You’re videos are so helpful I got a 22 hatch and never knew that it had a fuel door release cable and also I just literally had to remove my prl hvi because The rubber grommets weren’t completely installed the way you show in the video it was so helpful now the prl hvi box does not move at all and im going to use your link because im also not a fan of oil based filter thanks🫡👍🏼

    These are features the everyman loves to be informed about, thanks for making a video! Also, are you planning on a mugen front lip, side skirts or rear under spoilers? Any mugen parts? There’s hardly any videos up on UA-cam and from King Motorsports they come in factory colors!

    • @NAUS2K

      I do not plan to do any mugen parts, I think the factory styling is spot on. I am making one subtle change coming up so stay tuned !

    Thank you for sharing this! I've had my 2024 Sport 2.0L 6MT for about two months and am really enjoying it! Would like to have engine temperature measurement capability and am wondering if you have any experience/recommendations for a gauge/display that plugs in to the OBD2 port?

    Didn't know about the fuel door trick. Actually, I haven't refueled my Civic since I bought it. I'm down to 2-bars, so I'll probably refuel soon. But I already swapped engine oil & MT fluid once.
    Looking forward to Si rear suspension mod! In particular, I'm curious it it affects the rear height. Slightly higher? Slightly lower? No change?
    One of the things on my, "if I ever get to it" list is to swap driver's seat with an Si seat, if all the connectors are 100% the same.

    Im curious, why the Si rear suspension?

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  Місяць тому +1

      Factory rear suspension on all hatchbacks (besides type R of course) is super soft. This leads to better ride comfort, but pretty irresponsive handling, lots of sag in the rear if you add any adults in the rear seats or cargo, more body roll, just not as engaging to drive. The front suspension is near identical to the Si, changing just the rear is all you need to do to make this car handle like an Si. Stay tuned for the video with full details!

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  24 дні тому

      In 2023 it was 25.8k and the sonic gray added another $455 to that, so just over 26

    Well got a coolant leak at the hose connecting to the thermostat and an oil or trans leak. The dealership is claiming everything is fine and they must of spilled coolant all over the radiator housing, hose, and hood of my car as well as the oil or trans leak is just because they use a “lubricant “ when joining the trans to the engine and that is what must be coming out… just lies. I’m so pissed. And when I dropped it off they claimed originally there was no leak at all but never checked anything except under the car. How is that the hundred some point inspection I signed off on? You don’t even open the hood? Ridiculous!

    • @abraham3981

      Dealerships are just like insurance companies when it comes time to fulfill their duties, they will go above and beyond their power to avoid any liabilities and even come up with clever excuses to not be on the hook.

    • @natas12rm
      @natas12rm Місяць тому

      @@abraham3981 there is no way that they use a lubricant when connecting the trans to the engine that leaks out right? I mean the leak is all along the cracks and leaked so much probably during highway driving the stain is an inch wide with waves from being pushed by air. The coolant I know he is lying because I’ve checked my oil 3 times and there wasn’t any coolant residue all over the top of the housing and hood

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  Місяць тому +1

      Sorry my friend, dealers are a huge hit or miss. Mostly misses. Try going to a different dealer to get a second opinion

    • @abraham3981
      @abraham3981 Місяць тому +1

      One of the things that can cause an oil leak between the Transmission and the engine is a blown crankshaft rear main seal. I don't think there is any gasket or Honda bond between the engine and the trans.
      Honda quality control has definitely gone downhill and I'm also disappointed with Honda because my 2024 Honda civic spot hatch 2.OL N/A has a very rough shifting transmission and the synchronizers don't do the job they are suppose to do. I'm thinking of trading my car in with just above 4K miles. I don't want to go to the hassle of having Honda replace all the synchros since they will not want to and if they do I will still be on the hook for half the price like other folks have experienced.
