    Thank you for the information, I got 2 of them one with a 5-Gal container & one with 12-Gal container will be connecting them in a series as shown in there set up guide with the 5-Gal kit I ordered first. Ordered mine through Home Depot as I get a military discount. Again, great video and thank you & Cen-Tec

      Also, your logo caught my eye so I checked out your website and a UA-cam video with Lee at a trade show in 2021. Looks like you have a good product. Good luck with future sales growth!

    hey Ray, I just ordered a Cen-Tec cyclone, bucket hose and adapters set and was able to use the 20% off coupon - 7 months after your video posted. I guess not too many people took advantage of the deal, too bad for them. I saved over $19.00 So, thanks a bunch. I had the Cen-Tec hose & adapters kit in my Amazon shopping cart and when I went searching for UA-cam videos about them, I came upon your first video about the Cen-Tec hose and then watched the one about the cyclone. And, when I went to their website - using your link - I was shocked to find out that their web store prices are cheaper than Amazon's. And then, the icing on the cake was your 20% off coupon - oh boy!! I ordered the 16' hose & adapters with the Cen-Tec cyclone and their 5 gallon bucket with the screw on lid. Thanks, Charlie in Central Ohio

    Thank you for comparison. What Im still trying to find, is comparison with ClearVue CV06 - only designed by Bill Pentz.
    But I found some videos witch China and Dust deputy original and 2.5 and ti showed that original were actually far worse the cheap China one. And the new DD 2.5. was quite similar to China.
    This Quick Click is interesting - I see it here for first time. Its a pitty that nobody makes comparison with CV06 what "should be" best cyclone...
    About separator efficiency - it really makes sense to be much more precise - to precisely weight the dust before and after separation - what really makes difference is smallest particles - these actually plugs the shopvac filters... And you can see important difference when you would weight it....
    But thank you anyway! Tomas

    Thanks for the three system comparison. Today I have to move my saws outside to the deck to do any cutting. This is cumbersome and subject to weather conditions. If I expand my shop I will need to add duct collection.

    Subbed today and watched 3-4 of your vids. Like your style and presentation approach. I went to the centec site and they have some stuff that is just not in my budget. However I already have a dust stopper and it does okay. When and if I need to get something else I’ll look back at theirs. It’s possible now to just buy the device and hoses. Under $100.

      Thanks Ted! I appreciate your comment. Good luck building your dust collection system. It’s an important safety feature. You might also consider an air filtration system. I can’t believe how much fine dust mine collects. Here’s my video on that. ua-cam.com/video/xB5IQgJozUQ/v-deo.html

    All seem to do fairly well; however, I would like to point out that the Quick Click container differs in size and the unit as a whole differ in hight and distance between each port connection. Those things make a difference, but given the results of the test I would consider them all very close a good products.

    • @Ray_Here
      @Ray_Here  Рік тому

      Thanks for the comment. I did my best to keep all the hose lengths the same. You have a valid observation regarding the container size. I did another video where I connected the Quick Click separator to a 5 gal bucket. It performed very well.

    This seems like a biased review.
    Watched your vid and ordered both dustopper pro and quick click and I got to tell you that dustopper was way ahead of the quick click. Tested it on shavings fine and course dust small leaves and wood chips. Very minimal dust in the vac with Dustopper. 1/2 if what I vacuumed ended up in the vac using the quick click. Plus the convenience of the dustopper latches compared to prying a 5 gal bucket lid is a no brainer. I love the cen tec hose but this one and some of their tool hose attachments are a fail. They do not stay put especially the small diameter attachments.

  • @Goodoleme4144

    Too bad you didn't include the updated Dustopper PRO in your comparison. That would have been more fair for the consumer. I have both the original Dustopper and the recently released Dustopper PRO - Wow, what a difference! Thanks Dustopper!

    • @Ray_Here
      @Ray_Here  10 місяців тому

      I didn’t even know there was a Dustopper Pro. I did mention that there is an updated Dust Deputy. I try to be fair to the manufacturers when doing a comparison like this. That being said, I’m not going to go out and buy the latest and greatest to do a comparison. As I mentioned, they are all pretty good at doing the job they’re meant to do. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment!

  • @johnmack537
    @johnmack537 5 місяців тому

    The Dustopper you have there (original) goes for $45.97 at Home Depot. The improved “Pro” model is only $59.98.
    Don’t know why you didn’t include that in “cost for separator”. And that puts your hose cost for the Dustopper at a whopping $51.89; more than the Dustopper itself!
