No reviewer was allowed to ride the bike and only a walk around video. They say they will launch the bike by December but in reality, the bike is not even designed and they say they have to build a team of R&D. They don't have refund option of the Rs.1947 you have given to book. They said, they don't need investors initially and now they say they have investors who are helping them work. They delete all the previous twitter posts if they miss the deadline! PS: Now they have the refund option! I really hope I'm wrong.

There is a mad rush from manufacturers to build EV scooters. Ola & Simple One are examples, with hardly any testing they are straight away launching their products in the market. They have not even streamlined their production but have started accepting booking amount from gullible customers. Trial & testing would be done on such buyers who might have to face teething problems with these scooters. The biggest draw back today is there are hardly any charging stations to charge the scooter even in metro cities. Housing societies are yet not educated and disallow/discourage an EV buyer to put up a charging point in the society parking lot. The government has done little in terms of building a robust infrastructure for EV buyers as well as educating the general public the importance of EV in years to come. Today it's wise to wait for things to improve before jumping on the bandwagon.
Hi, you forget to explain about its a chain drive mechanism attached to the motor which leads to maintenance, changing of sprockets, vibration etc......
If it uses o ring sealed chain then i am happy to live with it. Actually chain are best, simple and more efficient, if simple one has provided normal chain then it will surely be a headache to keep adjusting chain tightness after every 500-700kms. Whereas o ring chain last 5000kms until it requires adjustment

Regarding their mid drive motor, Tarun himself stated in one of his interviews that they are sourcing from an undisclosed European partner. I am not sure what do you mean by battery in-built with all vehicle parts??? If you like Ather, that's your choice, it might not facilitate everyone's requirements. At least not my requirements
