The battery will at least last 8 years if people charge upto 80 percent and discharge upto 20 percent.
I travel 20km between my home and office every day.
It would amount to 25,000 km per year
If we add another 20 km for my every day
Grocery shopping and other travels.
So if we charge upto 80 percent and discharge upto 20 percent it at least last
Upto 1200 cycles. ( Can last upto 2000 cycles ).
For OLA S1 pro
181km × 1,200 = 217,000km
217,000km ÷ 25,000 km/year = 8.6 years.
The electricity rate in my city is ₹ 7 per kWh , Ola S1 pro has a 4 kWh battery
So , cost of one full charge =
7 × 4 = Rs. 28
As I mostly travel 40 km every day
So , price per km = ₹ 28 /181km
= ₹ 0.15
So , electricity price per day = ₹0.15 × 40km = ₹ 6.
Suppose I travel 40 kms every day for 365 days ,
So , electricity price per year
= ₹6 × 365 days
= 2,190.
So , electricity cost in 8 years = 17,520.
Where as ,
Petrol scooter mileage is
40 - 50 km per /litre.
So , fuel price per km = Rs.100 ÷ 50 km
= Rs.2 per Km.
Suppose I drive my scooter for 50 km every day for 365 days.
So , fuel price per year
= Rs.2 × 50km × 365 days
= ₹36,500.
So fuel price for 8 years
= ₹36,500 × 8 years
= ₹ 292,000.
Money saved by using electric scooter for 8 years = ₹ 292,000 - ₹ 17,520
= ₹ 274,000.
Now , By the time you need to replace a battery Tesla 4680 battery will already be available for Ola S1 at an price $ 45 - 50 /kWh. ( Not for the battery pack)

According basic need and availability.
Would you share information regarding this ???
Hilly areas mei successful rahenge?
In climbing steep slopes ?
Time period of warranty on battery?
And cost of battery replacement after warranty period
Sir kya mobile me jaise 20% to 80% battery charging ideal hota vaise e-scooter me hai kya?
Nhi bhai 100 kar sakte ho
Wanted this type of comparison. Thankyou Arun Sir ❤
Do you think we should go for EV now or wait till more charging stations come out
For good range which should buy hero or ather 450x, now days battery removal or non removal should buy. Kindly suggest.
Thank so much you for the detailed comparison.. love your blogs. However one concern I have is, as you know how the whether we have here in Mumbai, during the rainy season most of the areas there are water logging issues. How would these electric bike work in those condition and other aspects?
How does petrol vehicles work in these seasons
Meanwhile Bajaj Chetak electric went into depression after watching Simple 1 and OLA S1.
But Ola is the best
Because extra futures and sound 🔊
My best future in Ola which I feel is that the vehicle would have been unlocked in its own name. 😍
Thank you bhai 👌 good explain
Bhai Saheb Bina Scooter Ke Hi comparison kar dete hai. Talent hai!
hello sir, can you also tell something about the weight carrying capacity of these scooters? how much weight can these scooters carry giving out the same performance and features listed by these companies?
Simple one 110 kg. And ola s1 125 kg
Ola and simple one outclassed Ather 😀

Ather has got very tough competition from these 2.🔥🔥

Lac of knowledge
industry will grow in every day

may be next ev scooty comes with plus features from simple one
गजब वाकई बहुत बढ़िया , वीडियो
Ola's design 🤩 like vespa classic touch
Simple one🔥🔥❤️
Nice video for sure.. 👌🏽👏🏽
One question, what would be the arrengment to change tyre when it puncture or rip off.? How can we remove or replace it?
1)After sales service kessi h..
2) Maintenance and parts cost ..??
3) Battery cost after renwal..
4) Battery Life span??
5) what if we stuck in between..of interior road??
Sir banglor se red colour ki purchase karke delhi me rakh sakte hai????
At the end of the day I still think Ather is beautiful. Can't help thinking all this over juicing of battery will just create more and more lithium waste. The question to ask at this juncture of EV adoption is how much does one need ? Range, top speed, battery juicing.
Simple One 🔥
Ola looks 🔥
#1 ⭕LA as u have not mentioned the Geo fencing feature AI ENABLED voice greeting KEYLESS LOCK n UNLOCK feature & 3 types of metre consoles in OLA...
Is the display waterproof? What's the IP rating?
Very nice info and explanation style
Great ola
simple one has removable battery so u can charge that everywhere, and it’s launching only in few cities and production is less so doesn’t need infra that much.
With Ola u will have to change your route and eat at third class restaurant because chargers are there only, what if location of charger restaurant is closed? Simple one u are free to rest anywhere without having to change ur route, if u take 75min brakes every 3 hours then u can get unlimited range as u can charge simple one while taking breaks,
Olas funding went is launching in 6months, scale and marketing.
Simple one is also 20k cheaper so u can buy speakers with the saved money
You have analised in best and impartial way thanks and best presentation
What ll be the launch date of simple one
Bhai aap mobile k siva or b kaam krta hai. Muje to aaj pta lga. Keep it up
Sir your presentation is very very good
