The Dodge Charger Owner's manual has the following information what to do if your Charger has a dead or broken remote key fob - showing the message Key Fob Not Detected :
In case the ignition switch does not change with the push of a button, the key fob may have a dead
or depleted battery. In this situation, a back up method can be used to operate the ignition switch. Put the nose side of the key fob against the Dodge Charger START/STOP ignition button and push to operate the ignition switch. The key fob may not be able to be detected by the Dodge Charger keyless-go system if it is located next to a mobile phone, laptop or other electronic device; these devices may prevent the key fob’s wireless signal from being detected and prevent the
keyless-go system from starting your Dodge Charger.

What if you get it started with the key Fob and you still getting that key not detected on your screen? I replaced the battery in the key fob
I did this, and I have to do it manually every single time because it says the key fob has left the vehicle

THANK YOU! I lost my key and had a friend try to program a new one. He was unsuccessful. I eventually found my original key but the car wouldn't recognize it. I assumed my friend must have erased all keys when he tried to program his. Normally, In cold weather my fob wouldn't work so I always had to warm it up to get started, but this time I got nothing. I assumed the electronics were just frozen but turns out it was just a weak battery, and at this point the battery was completely dead.

Doesn't work for my 2019 dodge charger. My fob is not dead, it will lock/unlock/remote start but will not actually start the car. Even when pressing the button with it. The car just says press the button with the keyfob will holding the brake

I bought a spare key fob and had a key to the door just in case I lock my keys in my car. I'm assuming this won't work because it's not actually programmed I just use the manual key to get in

Mines only starts if i put my key fob in the driver side cupholder in tue center console. My keyless entry aint working either unless i place the key near the driver side center pillar. I think the LF antenna under the cupholder is messed up. Not site if i replace it would it just be plyg and play or does reprogramming that antenna need to he done after.

Will u do program the 2013-17 enclave
There is no manual way to program the fobs for a 13-17 enclave but you can program the ignition key yourself in many cases. You can find that information here www.ProgramAutoKeys.com/classified/enclave-browse-571.aspx

The batteries in the fobs typically would last longer than that but some fobs just go though batteries quickly and may eventually need to be replaced

It’s not that easy have a 2018 and tried mostly everything and still having trouble trying to start it but I think l found a way but it’s the only way by putting the remote key right in between or on top of shifter and that’s it… so please if anyone can give me a little advice

@@WestDTLA no just keep putting the remote between the cup holder (inside)… and when your remote won’t unlock your door get next to your door handle and press the button…
I put a new Battery on the remote. And if still does the same thing, it doesn't start still read no key.

There is no manual way to program these fobs but they should not need to be reprogrammed after just changing the battery

the first thing to try is to replace the battery in the key fob. If that does not fix the issue the key fob itself may eventually need to be replaced

It's still annoying that we have to resort to such measures just to start the car. My 22 scat pack won't even let me unlock the doors by grabbing ahold of the door handle. I have to use the fob to unlock the doors and then the method in this video to actually start the car. I'm totally getting my 60k worth.

Because the person who uploaded the video saw another video from another UA-camr and decided to use their knowledge for views. This trick is old. He doesn’t explain crap, “ tHe KeY FoB iS ThE iSsUe” but nope, I did the battery replacement and still the same thing. I don’t want to manually keep starting my ignition this way. I miss my door opening by touch. This is annoying.
