We taught our teens, but so did health class at school. They were able to ask questions there and here at home. We taught biological reproduction of animals such from a young age. As teens we explained the emotional and social aspect of it, while health class at school covered the specifics of biological terminology.

That is the comment I was looking for. I don't know about parents but a lot of teachers just teach the methods, not when and with whom it should be done. I mean there are no dignified and self-mannared and controllable ideas that are taught even by teachers. They just say that it's the need and is done like this and that's it! It isn't taught when and with whom it should be done and how it explains your personality and how it is important to be very loyal and mannared in this case. And how it's not just fun but a part of your personality and reflects your respect for the other genders and much more things.......... that's why education is important but proper education is important as Half education is more dangerous
@Dkharid you don't teach your children emotional intelligence? Intercourse has a lot of strong feelings attached to it, especially for younger people. Why would I not want to teach that?

I agree, educating with dignity and trust is critical.
Keep in mind there has never been or ever will be a perfect way to educate young people about sexuality.
Old ways had its pluses but there was also problems as well. Pregnancies were much much higher when it was left to the family unit because too many families avoid the discussion or share inaccurate information.

Absolutely needed and should be made mandatory…! Yes there needs to be a thoughtful way on how to talk about it without making it a taboo..! The nature of biology needs to be understood well otherwise there are all kinds of physical and mental avenues left out to free Internet.
So a trust based setup be in the form of schools, councillors etc needs to exist.

Guruji , first movies should be changed 🙏 and education is also important. But media affects more. Simply they are showing only violence n glamour in cinema.

And if not needed then the phone should be restricted until the pass 12th class. I am telling this from personal experience. I was not given my own personal phone until I passed my 12th class (i used to use other elders phones but not for too much time). And when i got the phone i was already prepared to face all the things because in all the time I wasn't having a phone I prepared myself with morals and principles and emotions..... . I don't know why parents are exposing their children to the phone when they don't even need it. It's all because of early exposure of a person to social media through the phone and only the phone...... so if we want to improve it then first we need to improve this thing

I think this kind of education should come from someone very close to us. If not from parents then from someone parents know.
