I got to see a whale shark back in '89 while I was on my honeymoon and we went fishing on a party boat out of islamorada. It was a little bit shorter than the boat we were on. The captain pulled up next to it and my god, what a sight

Such an amazing experience. Swam with whale sharks off the coast of Cancun, during the plankton bloom. 3hrs, and over 50 whale sharks. Such amazing animals.
What a captivating creature those whale sharks are. They must be protected at all costs. You're so fortunate to have swum with one. I hope to one day share that same experience. I'm so envious right now. Thanks for the incredible footage, Josh.
Wow. If you go to Key West you have to stop by the Custom House and see Guy's sketch's of The Old Man and the Sea almost as cool as swimming with whale sgarks
I love that the thumbnail and title are about a 10 minute swim with a shark, but he spent the trip with GUY FRICKIN HARVEY and didn’t make a deal of it

There's a reason there's so many fish there. They get destroyed in florida, nobody knows how to release fish only keep them. I release anything and everything I catch unless it dies. Florida anglers need to stand up and learn catch and release for ALL of our fish to conserve the wonderful fishery that we have.
