Just beautiful. I have watched several people that hike, like Saline Scott, go up there and Evan Backpacking channel. I really want to go too. Thanks for sharing Steve. Haha you give your wife a hard time man, that sounds just like something I'd say to my wife too about the amazing steady hands and the liquor problem haha. Your killing me man. I almost spit out my coffee this morning.
Thank goodness she's a good sport or my life would be hell. You need to make this trip. We stayed in Asheville and got up at 4am. Takes about 1.5 hours to get there and totally worth the effort. Don't watch my vids until you swallow the coffee, lol.
Wow really beautiful. Are you sure this wasn't the highlands of Scotland instead of NC? "with that terrible liquor problem you have" hahahahahaha awesome
Gorgeous Sunrise! 🌅 Spectacular morning I’m sure. In my neck of the wood we watch sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. We live about 10 miles from the coast near Seal Beach and Long Beach. Glad you and wifey enjoyed your weekend.
I mentioned going to max patch on Labor Day, but my wife found some new trails in Lenoir City, TN along the little Tennessee river. It would have been cool if we went and ran into you though.
Awesome place and one of my favorites on the AT. Try Hot springs sometime. Very cool town! I actually hiked from Max Patch to Hot springs and the whole trip was beautiful. Carvers Gap is another bucket list destination. Thanks for sharing!
Well, that bothered me so I downloaded the Shazaam App and played the song. It's called Celtickle by Niel Golden. ua-cam.com/video/SODP2DGYgrg/v-deo.html
That was beautiful ,,,,,,,,,I never knew your wife was an Alcoholic poor Dear . But I can see why living with you has got to wear on a person's nerves hahaha ,,,,,,,,hey where is max patch at any ways
LOL, I'm glad she's a good sport when I kid with her. Or else, I'd be in deep trouble. She's used to me and just ignores me now. Max Patch is about 1.5 hours from Asheville, NC.

Wow... Very beautiful.
Thanks Westy.
Absolutely beautiful. Definitely bucket list worthy.
It really is!
Stunning.
Thanks sir.
Beautiful place man.
Thanks Mr. BassGeek
Impressive! Most impressive.
Thank you. You need to go if you haven't been.
Beautiful, but yucky...what good is nature with tons of people. Max as in maximum human overflow. Great 360 view fer sher.
There weren't too many people but I know for you, just one person is a crowd.
You are correct...even just me can be too damned many...you, on the other hand, equal three goobers so you alone are definitely a crowd.

I'm glad someone else cought that. I about pissed myself. Me and my brother laughed so hard. She didn't even blink! Lmao. Great video tho!
love this video, thank you so much for sharing!! hoping to visit soon!
Have fun!
I love your royalty free music. It really added to the video.
I wanted you to think about Braveheart as you watched this video and gave it a thumbs up per our agreement.
My parents were both raised a few miles from Max Patch!
I bet they are awesome mountain folks.
@@myadventureoutdoors Yes they were!
Might be able to check this out tomorrow 🤞 Thank you for posting ☺️
Hope you find it as awesome as I did. I have heard they may have stopped overnight camping but not sure. Many people were trashing the place.
Wow really beautiful. Are you sure this wasn't the highlands of Scotland instead of NC? "with that terrible liquor problem you have" hahahahahaha awesome
Amazing.
Thank you.
Wow nice job! You've stepped up your editing game! Nice video!
Thanks Pete. Max Patch deserved a couple extra clicks upward on the edits.
@@myadventureoutdoors it is a very beautiful place. I was the best man in a wedding there once. Love it
That is crazy. Are they still married?
@@myadventureoutdoors nope😬

It was real purdy as we say here in NC. I've seen some sunrises & sunsets on the Pacific and they are EPIC!
That was a beautiful sunrise. I've never even heard of max patch.
It's one of those stickers you put on your arm to quit smoking, LOL. Bill, you need to go see this place.
wasn't aware of that location, but man worth the early trek, amazing views.
I'm not always the early bird but this was one of the most beautiful sites I've ever seen.
Awesome intro. I think the camera came close to doing it justice. That was really beautiful. I put it on the big screen and it looked awesome!
I hope you looked away when you saw my giant scruffy face on the big screen. You can't unsee that.
For a moment, I thought it was going to turn into a Squatch hunting episode.
This is one great video. If I could double click this one I would great job Steve. Thank you. Now it is on my bucket list!
Thank you for that. I really hope you get a chance to go. We spent the night in Asheville and got up at 4am to make the trip. Totally worth it.
This is a great video!! Max Patch is high on my list. Sunrise are the best you have to earn them.
Make the trip, you will not regret it.
Incredible video! I hope y’all are ready for the storm coming your way.
Thanks. We are very nervous about the storm. People will die if they don't evacuate and I'm afraid it's going to do a lot of damage.
Absolutely stunning brother, those hands, so delicate yet such a strong grip!
Plus hers weren't bad either.
Great video Steve hope you had enjoyed your Labor Day man keep it up😊👍😊
I mentioned going to max patch on Labor Day, but my wife found some new trails in Lenoir City, TN along the little Tennessee river. It would have been cool if we went and ran into you though.
Oh man, that would have been awesome if you had been there.

We actually went to Hot Springs when we left Max Patch. Had a nice lunch and walked around the little town. Thanks for watching and commenting.
My parents grew up in Between Max Patch and Hot Springs! I visit the area once a year!
That was awesome man , hard to find a veiw like that with all the power lines and houses and such blocking it . That's an awesome place
Beautiful view. Also good job on the public wife shaming for her alcohol issues. ahahaaa.
Thank you. I'm glad she's a good sport. She even made me a PB & Jelly sammich when we went back to truck.
Jon Fornwald one step at a time.......Hey Oooooo.
Awesome, words cant describe what you see here.. There should be more views! :):) Thank YOU.
Yes,, a bucket list item,,,
Thanks very much. I agree, need more views.
Hey, Are there less crowded places in Max Patch ? Maybe a couple of feet further apart the trail ?
Good question. Lots of wilderness around here. At one point this past year, they were considering closing it because A-holes were trashing the place.
@@myadventureoutdoors hate people who destroy beautiful places and spoil it for the others.
Name of song?
Sorry but I don’t remember.
@@myadventureoutdoors no prob. Pretty song for amazing scenery thank you

Do you think that’s what the Gates of Heaven looks like?
That is an awesome description for this place. We were in awe. I wish I had thought of that.
