This is the first back story that didn’t feel like “poor me” - but instead “look what we have accomplished” - I like this lady a lot!
Well she did have that bit about being a second generation immigrant
@@privacyplease64exactly it all depends on our viewpoint. If her numbers were terrible, the same narration would've been viewed differently
Americans loves a good ol hardship story
😍🧡🙏
Yeah but there’s no way her dad left with just 10 to his name lol I hate it when people say that
Wow! Daymond for once, actually giving good advice, complimented the entrepreneur, and not gouging her.
is cuz hes attracted to her

"Gauging?"
Not sure how her business is doing, but this woman can be a shark herself. Very likeable, very confident.. Wish her the best!
she went bankrupted
Her business is doing fine
She reported over $700,000 worth of sales in 2022
Humble too

Does Mark honestly think people are going to stop eating deep fried fries and fried chicken anytime soon? Also she neglected to mention the potential with commercial kitchens. Restaurants would absolutely love to be able to dispose of their oil in the waste/organic bin instead of having to pay for expensive grease disposal service
Yes! That would be HUGE!
Damon touched on that concept. Do you notice her face lit up when he was talking about including packets of the product with the commercial size fries, etc! 😊
Excellent point!
@@dancingmeerkat2078 Not the same thing.
I owned a restaurant a company payed me per litter of oil. They take it and make combustibles from it. Never did I spent a dime disposing of oil
Frying and cooking oil will never go away. When she said International- it sealed the deal for Mark. This is awesome- purchasing some now!!
Especially, in fast food and regular restaurants. I was surprised no one mentioned how they dispose of their grease and marketing this product to them.
and people in the south love fried food so it will be a profitable business
I laughed at the fact she didnt mention this when Kevin went out
😍🙌
Did you ever buy it 🤔
She sure does have a good mastery of the business. The values are prove enough. I think both sharks at 20% was a fair and better deal.
the valuation she was going for still got chopped off by half though
@@raymondel-haddad7312 yeah but people go into Shark Tank knowing darn well they're not going to get what they're asking for
I dont think it was fair, they shouldnt have gone above 15%, she built this from scratch
@@Account-br9kcarticle says she is bankrupt now.
I can't picture Mark spending more than five seconds trying to help her anyway. She should have stuck to Lori and done the twenty.
Mark went back in when he heard "International"!! I hope this deal goes through and doesn't just get cancelled like many others
Yep thats needed in a lot of country that loves frying.. I needed that one too.. 😅
@@jmhie9 If i'm not mistaken, it's common in Japan
Here in Brazil this product will sell like water in the desert
I mean, China, India, Indonesia, etc. Pick a country.
The deal went through. The company makes $850 billion a year now.
it seems that all i do these days is watch shark tank while i eat my lunch
I’ve been eating all my meals to shark tank for the past 3 months and I might be addicted lol thought I was only one

Me rn. Ham sandwiche and lemon lays

She is one of the most impressive entrepreneurs I have seen on Shark Tank. She has it all. Grit, Marketing, Chemical knowledge. Truly remarkable.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words! 😍🧡🙏
Love your product. Wishing you tremendous success.
this might be one of the best products/companies in shark tank history
I just don't know many that will care, they'll just keep dumping it.
@@mrhumble2937Exactly. This is more of a business application for me. Not enough consumers actually do deep frying at home.
not even close
you have to be trolling brother man
... i jus throw it in my backyard its good for it
Perfect pitch, great entrepreneur, useful product, huge margins, huge sales, reasonable valuations, and got the two best sharks. This lady had a near perfect presentation and execution.
hank you so much for your wonderful feedback! 😍🧡🙏
I've seen so many cooking influencers use this product. I'm sure it's been a huge hit, hoping for the best

Sharks aren't the only ones loving FryAway. I love it too.
Amazing, maybe I'll have to check it out myself too!

Watching this while eating Food FRIED in oil! 💀💀💀
Yum haha
I literally just seen this product in Publix in Newnan, GA. I
Had to come back to this video and post it. Good for her.
Kevin talking about truth in advertising and all fo sudden my memory took me to ftx
trying to clean up his reputation. This episode is filmed recently
Lori and Mark do a LOT of deals together.
I just love them doing together
One of the best pitches and Mr. Wonderful shows some moral right there. For the longest time, I didn’t like him but now I like him better.
He believes in truth in advertising after his FTX fraud debacle...
He doesn’t look like a guy who eats healthy

Wow she is so smart and charismatic!
Excellent presentation, an intelligent entrepreneur and great business figures, this pitch had it all. One of the best in Shark Tank history
love it when the sharks value the person so much!
I think I saw this type of product but in Japan. A powder you mix with the oil and let it solidify; same principle.
It's probably not something new. She just bagged it and put her brand name on it
@@ThePeacePlanttrue she did say she is great at marketing
I love the lady I hope she succeeds! She's a fighter too!
I need this in my life! We fry all the time and then struggle trying to figure out where to dump the grease every time.
No trees or bushes in your life?
We got your back 🧡
Japan have this product and it’s mandatory for food waste since ages ago 😅
Everyone says that Barbara is out, how they love Mark or how funny they think Kevin is, but I just wanted to say that I hope you're having a fantastic lunch ❤
Goofy
I did thank you
dang I had a stroke trying to read this properly
@@lockzmusicnope
Surprised Lori made her offer.... Told many times that she believes in healthy food. I also think that healthy eating grows bigger and bigger but she can still made this like 5-10 million brand with Mark's and Lori's help. Those who eat regularly unhealthy don't care about this product enough. So there will be limit.
She passed the last time a lady pitched a similar product due to her healthy diet
Something that puzzles me about the sharks is that they don’t invest in a company that they feel “doesn’t need them”…she wouldn’t be standing in front the Sharks if she didn’t need the support. It’s clear to see that she needs an investor so she can setup a top of the line production facility so she can keep up with the demand of her upcoming retail sales…with online sales like hers, that’s enough of a reason to invest for me…
Or that only deep frying uses oil that has to be cleaned...
When they say that, they're saying there's not enough money they can invest to make it worthwhile for both parties. The entrepreneur that doesn't need them would only be willing to sell at a much lower price point that wouldn't make it worth the investor's time and money. If the company is going good, no need to sell a large portion of the company to an investor.
@@paradiso4562 ahhhh got it thanks for sharing your insight!!!
She is a pure genius. No sad stories oly practical stuffs🎉
Was impressed with the entrepreneur to the extent i had to watch it twice just to pay absolute attention to her... Kudos to her...
The content is very attractive. I love this video. Thank you
Congratulations and good luck!
I think fryaway is a really good idea and would want to have it at home.
So you love polluting. Good to know.
Cleaning the frying pan and discarding the used cooking oil will be much easier with FryAway 😉
I really like her! Great personality. She must have a lot of love in her life ❤
she has a great energy
Rule #1 don't put fat and oils down your sinks. Let them solidify and throw away. If its bacon grease, you can actually store it and reuse it.
Fryaway will be worth MILLIONS in no time with you 3 in charge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job laura !
She will succeed, she is very intelligent, down to earth, and smart with money. The problem with most people and businesses alike is they try to take off and accomplish to much at once.
This is such an amazing idea. Love that it’s compostable!
Cuban forgot about all the large burger joints that fry everything
cooking oil solidifier this kind already in the market for about 10years..1st time i saw this during chinese ads...at least she make it her self...god job!!
Laura Lady, what a name, love it!
Such POISE! Loved it!
This is a great idea. I always just take paper towels wipe the grease out of the pan and put it in the garbage.
the sharks that went out forgot big fast food restaurants still fry food and do many many everyday restaurants. The international market is even big on fry foods.
I’m genuinely happy for this woman
😍🧡🙏
Thank you so much! 😍🧡🙏
I love this product. However I'm concerned about the low barrier to entry. She has such an enormous margin and that means that any company can create a knockoff of her product and sell it for a quarter of the price
Cool product! Owning your own business with your own vision is amazing! LET'S GOO!!!
Love this Entrepreneur. Wishing her best.
So glad she got the deal. Her idea is amazing!
They cut that scene but they heard a weird noise before an ad. The sound was an air fryer and it was used by Barbara, she said she was out.
Such a good pitch, just purchased!

What an amazing lady, perfect recipe of entrepreneurship!
Amazing lady, intelligent, articulated and charming
For the first time, Lori probably could have said I don't need Mark in this deal but whatever.

@SharkTankGlobal thanks for the reply it's the second time I see the chanel reply to a comment and my first to see one reply to mine 😂 saw one reply on the other video 5 days ago which I was shocked cuz I don't usually see the channel comment replies
What they don't show is that this type of product have been around for a long time, theres absolutely nothing proprietary about it. Japan have a law against dumping oil down the drain and its a household item there.
This is true. They sell it in every supermarket here in Japan
Air fryer knocks this off the charts
WOW! I Can ALMOST hear this episode
Fried food habit is going away. Meanwhile Spain with olive oil: AM I a jOkE to YoU
Such a lovely lady
The question that wasn’t asked is: is this a patented formula? Or can anyone else come in and use the same plant based products to make the same end product? Actually there are a couple of,products on the market already. One is patent pending so if that patent goes thru I wonder if that might jeopardize Fryaway if her formula isn’t patented or is just like the other product.
Waste oil solidifier is already a product sold in Japan for a while. Trademark yes, patent no.
I did a little (very little lol) research. It seems stearic acid does the same thing. I'm going to order some on Amazon and see how it goes
It's just a brand she grew nothing proprietary about the powder, which is even more amazing tbh
the formula can be bought by the chemist too
What a perfect analogy to what people are filtering through their bodies everyday.
I've been cooking with oil and never had this problem but when I cook with fat it will solidify example cooking bacon or beef will leave excess grease which turns into gunk.
This has been in japan for decades. And it cost under $1 to buy. Ijs
Great job, Laura!!!!!
Frying isn’t bad for you. It’s the carbs and the breading. Oils like olive and avocado are healthy.
I love this lady.
Truth in advertising. Good one kev good one.
Two good partners for this business… I think they’ll do well.
I wonder why you wouldn't just pour the cooking oil on paper in a trash bag, to absorb the oil, rather than using this product. Using the paper seems more economical and environmentally friendly compared to this.
Wow, goosebumps, I'm so happy for her!
"You were just talking dirty to me" 😂
fubu
I think this is less about "fried foods" and that "people are trying to stay away from fried foods, so I'm out" but moreso that people are looking to be more environmentally conscious
Probably, I would say it's easier to be environmentally conscious than health conscious, because maintaining your health and a healthy diet requires a lot more sacrifices.
Never thought kevin would never eat fried foods
you know it's a good deal when it makes Mr Wonderful clap
Great product!
Love to see a fellow honduran! 🇭🇳
Yess representation!
I put used oil in a used bottle and close it then throw it into the trash. It’s easy and free
She literally said that in her pitch rofl
I use this and didn’t even know it was on shark tank. It’s amazing!
This is AMAZING! I need this
I'm really happy for her
Oh man here in india we don't discard the left overs. We keep them in the bowl to reuse it later. You all are living a life we dream of. God bless you all.
that will give you cancer. should not reuse more than two or three times.
I'm from Malaysia here. I used this product but different brand like 5 years ago. It started from Japan. I'm surprised they just knew about it. Here it cost like 1 dollar per packet.
great for fast food places
Amazing! 💫
Great idea
it's unreal how shady the sharks are after the cameras are turned off and they manipulate the deals they make to their best advantage.
take diamond's latest controversy for example, explains my point very well
It is a business after all. Contract negotiation involves a lot.
You don’t Acquire wealth like them unless you have avarice. What we see is for views, not the off air deal negotiations
Many times entreprenures dont tell the truth about the business. Breath-o-meter was a (bad) 5 shark deal that ended up with a lawsuit from the FTC. The guy lied about alot of stuff and all sharks lost their money. Some say they have patents, or purchase orders for walmart etc when they dont. They have debts/partners that they do not disclose. Its about doing the best deal for YOU, whoever the YOU is-- shark or entreprenure.
That's how it really is. It's called Shark Tank for a reason. They are Sharks!
@@JazzyMarineVet🎯
I'm happy for her
I’d use this. Great pitch and business.
Great idea for fast food restaurants and those who fry foods. I don't use cooking oils, nor eat fried foods.
The sound effects are horrendous and unnecessary. They should follow the lead of dragon's den and let the people do the talking.
She's so greatttt
In Oregon we have a free oil recycle program so not sure how paying to throw in the garbage helps??
She is amazing
