/ @sharktankglobal
I love how Lori was so patient and understanding, a different shark would’ve gotten immediately egoistic and said they’re out once the lady wanted to give that final counter.
She knows a good product when she see it. That's why she have the most successful business in shark tank ever
Maybe less egoistic and more tired. Its a 60 minute presentation, Nickle and diming over 2.5% and 25k over and over again will become annoying. In the end, Lori makes the most successful deals and clearly holds value, imo who wouldnt be annoyed.
The entrepreneur knew she had a good product.
I wonder what Lori would have done if the entrepreneur had said "Thank you for the offer" and turned to leave.....
because she wants the product. it's literally similar to her bagel company and even uses the same distributor. it would be easy to merge them
If its something you know you can make money on and you're an investor, there's no room for ego.
When she started spitting facts at Lori, I audibly screamed. Greatest moment in the show.
Lori didn’t do the $150k for 15% because she wanted the power and didn’t want to come off the $125k for 15% just because she didn’t want to come off her high horse. She couldn’t do the extra $25k? lol.
I'm still searching for that part, all I heard was someone flailing and desperately spewing out useless verbiage. If you have a timestamp, I'd love it.
Meanwhile Lori just rambled on and on with no real argument? I don’t think she’s really articulate
Screamed for what. Youre stupid
Yes!!! I immediately hit the like button when she did this! ✔️

Wow. I was worried Lori was gonna back out once those words of final counter came out. But she was flexible. That was cool and fair of her. Good back & forth from both parts.
Because she got exactly what she wanted
“….No! There is no butter.” ☝🏽😏
She is a great negotiator and marketing the product. Robert was cracking me up this one
1.5 Years Later…
so these guys intended Crazy Puffs before Little Caesars
Thats exactly what I was thinking!
They're called pizzetes nothing was invented just copied lol
Bought a pack after I saw these on Shark Tank. They're tasty since they're similar to pizza, but actual pizza tastes better. They're "low calorie" because they're small, not because they're healthy in any way, since they actually have have more calories by weight than regular pizza, including more fat calories. And it costs 2-4 times more per ounce than frozen pizza, or other pizza snacks. They'd need to cut the price at least in half for me to even consider buying again, and even then, I'd probably just buy a frozen pizza instead. Then again, I like what's on a pizza more than the dough, so maybe those who favor the dough will have a different opinion.
Compare:
Pizza Cupcake: $1.01/oz
Whole Foods Pepperoni Pizza: $0.38/oz
Pizza with organic ingredients: $0.81/oz
Tombstone/Red Baron/DiGiorno: $0.24 - $0.33/oz
Great analysis
That is good analysis. In my life, I've learned that there are pizza people who care more about the dough, and those who care more about the toppings -- these are the people who could leave the crust uneaten. I'm a toppings man, myself. But your comment and the Sharks' reactions (gushing over the dough's texture) tells me this is a product for the fans of dough.
I love the method you broke this down. Kudos.
Excellent review from a pizza connoisseur. Consider posting reviews on pizza. Shoutout to all my pizza lovers.
My guy really said they’re low calories because they’re small like were blind lol
She keeps throwing Starbucks name out there and all the locations but pizza and coffee does not sound like the best combination
Ahhh I take it you haven’t been to Starbucks since they first opened. I’ll fill you in on what you have missed. They since opening serve more then just coffee and pastries.
@@pt18777 True. But pizza cupcakes and a refresher isn’t exactly what I have in mind when I go to Starbucks😅❤️

I LOVED her negotiation! The sharks were shocked!
they really let the pizza cupcake stay hunched the whole pitch xD
One of my favorite Lori moments ever (negotiation & holding her ground). So so 🤩😍
Lori: My bottom line is 15%.
Lady: Would you do 12.5%?
Lori: Bruh
Found them at Walmart recently, they were pretty good!
Oooo I need to try em
Yeah they are good. Wish they had made whole pizzas like that. Too expensive for that little amount.
They got a great deal from lory. I think 15% it's fair.
This product would of been perfect if it had a stable location like dominoes...id be passing through every day
Dominos could just make their own if they wanted, any pizza guy will tell you we can make dough do pretty much whatever we want, I could fill my display case with pizza cupcakes any day of the week. We sell these things called pin wheels instead, similar item just better imo. These are frozen food gimmick is all. Your neighborhood pizza guy could whip this up for u if asked trust me.
Insane confidence from the girl
I tried these. They were good but not better than pizza you buy from a pizza parlor. They were better than frozen pizza though. However, the sauce needs more seasoning. It was kind of bland. The breading is whats good about these but doesnt give you Pizza vibes. More of a cheesy bun dipped in a sauce vibe.
I remember this one biz offered cheesy sticks with spicy dip....people loved it.
yea I normally just add some garlic to the sauce by opening it up after im done heating it up, just issue for me is cost but the only reason I've bought them was because Walmart had them on sale
Agree. They are ok. Unfortunately very overpriced for what they are.
That’s what happens when you grow too fast the quality goes down
frozen almost never beats freshly made, its pretty good for a frozen food
Guys, this episode appeared on the Shark Tank channel for the first time. It appeared on the Sony channel before. Cut them some slack.
The sharks all said this was good so I thought I'd try it despite the ridiculous costs. I bought the large pack of peperoni. When received some didn't even have a peperoni on them. Most if not all had no marinara sauce at all. It's just dough and white cheese. It tastes Ok, but i'd never order again.
Sounds like you got the duds.
They definitely made these ones for the episode
I wanted so badly for them to succeed. Good for them.
When Mark started reading the box while he was eating you know that it was good 🤣🤣🤣

Daymond: D E V O U R
11:02 damn Michelle can negotiate
I'm surprised they are in Walmart already but at $7 for 6 I probably won't be buying again even though they are amazing. My only critique is the lack of pepperonini on that version. Only one to two slices each on the the box I bought..
$7 for 6 does not seem expensive to me. Pretty much every meal these days runs at least $10 even fast food
They got to get the best deal possible because you know they are paying that cupcake a high rate
who got convinced to stay in the pizza costume the whole time? like that's look like you're blind and sweating.
idgaf about the deal i just want the pizza cupcake costume thingy. its adorable
“You guys are the real deal… I’m out”
She was such a good negotiator!
Why is it that Shark Tank posts these videos, but never seems to put links in the UA-cam description for the people/businesses which the sharks invest in? 🤔
Their presentation and packaging is totally on point. It's like a delicious little box of Popeye's but for pizza cakes.
I would rather 3 slices of NY pizza ($3) than 1 pizza cupcake ($3)
Same. Glad to be in NY so I don’t need to buy this nonsense.
this was such a cool episode to watch, that chick really knows her stuff
Guess he sold it to Little Ceasers 😂

Barbara: “My Pizza Hut driver was late. And for that reason I’m out.”
Knowing that these sessions can go to 45m or more makes me feel bad for the costume character performer just having to stand there.
They can go on for 2 hours.
I tried these from my local supermarket... good but extremely overpriced. You can buy biscuits + sauce + cheese + pepperoni and make them in 20 minutes... not only that but for the price of 8 you can make 24. Just press biscuit dough into a muffin tin so its like a crust, 1 pepperoni in the base, sauce to preference, spoonful of cheese, another pep or two and bake @ 350 for 18-20 mins. They freeze and reheat well - 60 seconds defrost and 45 seconds on high to warm up two. Good idea, bad execution.
Looks like after this show the pizza costume guy was fired

It means shares that aren't pure equity something a person has to earn by doing certain things for a business.

If they can contract with all the baseball stadiums across the nation, gold. Then once people know the "pizza cupcake," can break into 7-11's and such, if the stadium contracts will allow.
