Been using OneShot for years and it works well. I don't tumble mine after sizing as it will contaminate the cleaning/polishing media. I simply wipe off each case with a paper towel which has rubbing alcohol on it. Removes the wax without problems. Lube on a case, when fired, can cause problems. Cases are designed to expand and grip chamber walls tightly then contract. Lubed cases won't seal the chamber as well which is why you're getting gas blowby! Add to that the lubed fired case will start to exit the chamber sooner than designed and can cause a serious problem with bolt thrust which can damage the bolt face in bolt guns and semi-autos!

      what about revolvers?

@@geezerp1982 Same with revolvers. Lubed cases will slam back against the firing pin area and (worst case scenario) can cause the brass to flow into the firing pin hole keeping the cylinder from turning for the next shot. Brass is meant to expand and grip the cylinder walls tightly then contract for easy extraction. Lubed cases keep that from happening!

Thanks for sharing! I've been using mink oil on a sock, which works 99 out of 100 times. The issue come with the fact that none gets in the neck and the expander hangs up. Also, where I pick up my brass is super sandy and sometimes you'll run a case filled with sand through the die even after having been tumbled. This doesn't help the situation obviously. Thanks again, I'll order some and check it out.

How long do you tumble it after resizing to remove the one shot? Thanks for the help.

I don’t think I’ll try this product. Your review is appreciated but to much in the way of negative commenting and the information on the can doesn’t much meet your approval.

I’ve used this on tens of thousands of cases. If you use it as per the directions on the can, you won’t have any problems. I put my brass in a $5 universal loading tray (dedicated for the task), neck up, and spray each side down at a 45 degree angle so a little gets into the neck. Let it dry a few minutes before sizing. I wet tumble my cases for about 15 minutes after sizing to get the lube off because I don’t like loading slippery cases.

Don't go by this review. It's a brilliant product. Similar to imperial wax, it just requires practice. But One Shot will save you an incredible amount of time and deliver a far better and consistent result.
