She captured the essence of that character, but I never felt like she was playing Julie Andrew's character. I thought the songs were catchy and charming. The children were cute. But the word I would use to describe this movie is almost. It tries to re-capture the magic of the original movie, but it almost gets there. This movie felt more sad to me than the original. This movie puts too much logic into little scenes like that and has to give it a reason WHY. It takes away the magic a bit. This movie felt like growing up.....like the first movie was childhood and immersed in imagination and fantasy, and with this one, adulthood has stolen in and taken hold and one has to put away childhood and imagination and be serious. If I could recreate the ending, I would have completely erased everything with the damn evil banker (because it was all made moot in the end anyway) . I would have had them accept their fate. I notice that some of your videos are uploaded the same time as Nathaniel Bandy videos.
Also, did you know that nathaniel bandy did a collab video with Scoot the Woz on a Wii Music triggered video?
I'm new to this channel so I could be wrong but I don't see any connection between Nathaniel bandy and this channel
What about from legacy which was release many years after the original trim which is Disney
Mary Poppins and Doctor Who need a crossover.
Yeah, just for opening your umbrella indoors, don't be surprised if misfortune comes your way at ANY point. (I don't mean this as a threat, I'm just saying).
I LOVED IT
Perfect review video
If I were to give this a score, it would be a 🍜/10.
Christopher Robin is still my favorite Disney movie of the year not counting MCU or Pixar movies
Feed me, I'm a bird!
Aren't we all?
They didn't have green screen back then did they?
Nope, all backgrounds that weren't part of a set were hand-painted. Fun fact, the paintings in the intro credits of this movie are by the same artist who did the backgrounds for the original.
AWESOME
I see you still have a grudge with Sony huh hehe
Have you ever thought about doing a review on Nanny Mcphee.

I saw this movie and loved it the whole way through. Honestly, I don't understand the mindset of some of the "professional" critics out there (i.e. Roeper, LA Times etc.)
Movies like this, Aquaman and Welcome to Marwen all look at feel entertaining or charming. If a movie can achieve that, why nitpick at it
Did you know Doug walker aka nostalgia critic doesn’t like this film?
I think it was so dumb for make Mary Poppins young still it doesn’t make any sense!
Its because she is magical
and yet I'd still do wish to still see Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse
Hi
I’ve never seen marry popins
You look comfy
Um why are Jane and Michael Banks living with each other as adult siblings in one house with children?
Actually, according to Mary Poppins, Jane lives in a flat on the other side of London.
@@darthstarkiller1912 Okay, got it.
I would've preferred if you've taken out Aquaman and replaced it with either Ready Player One or Isle of Dogs.
I'm not saying it's as awful as Justice League but I personally felt it was a forgettable MCU clone with so-so CG.
So now I guess we will get the Top 5 Best and Worst Animated Films of 2018 next week. I am just waiting for that.
My guess for #1 is "Incredibles 2"
My guess as to how that will go:
Best:
1. Isle of Dogs (sorry, Podcast Guy)
2. Incredibles 2
3. Into the Spiderverse
4. Ralph Breaks the Internet
5. Go! To the Movies
Honorable Mention: Early Man
Worst:
1. Transylvania 3
2. Sherlock Gnomes
3. Smallfoot
4. The Grinch
5. Sgt. Stubby
You got yourself 7 years of bad movies now, AniMat.
